Maul stood in the park once more only two weeks after the storm. At home he had been visited by a fellow monk who told him that his mentor had passed into the void, Jason felt the blow deeply for the man was more like a father than his own in the world and the loss of the old man meant the loss of a friend and confidont. The monk told Maul that he had been too nice in battle and that inside him was a rage that was begging to be released. Jason questioned that rage was a enemy in battle but the monk informed him that wild rage was a enemy but focused rage could become a weapon as much as a persons hands or feet. Jasn was to practice using the rage he hid from the world and become a truly focused weapon in the world of fighting. For now he was a force to reckon with but he could be better and stronger. However the monk told him that this ability was only used in the hardest battles that could not be won without it for it would tax the body and weaken him considerably.
So Jason once again stood in his training ground and his circle of training. But this time there was no booming thunder or lightning. The day was calm and relaxing meaning Jason would have to look inside to find the furious rage that burned in his veins and what he hid from the world for fear of the carnage he could do with it. Sitting down Jason slid into his meditation form and closed his eyes and allowed himself to fall deep into his self. The trip was always a different one for he saw himself not as a person but a single entity in a world of billions where one mattered little and yet mattered so much. Jason moved through his conchise avoiding memories of what he had become and instead looked for something he had kept locked away since he was a child. A burning intense rage that had never been allowed to surface for it's devastation would be great. Coming to a imaginary iron wall bound in chains and padlocks, a being rose in the form of a black shadow with glowing white eyes and a core of pulsing red. This was the guardian Jason had set over his rage to keep it from escaping but now he knew he must release the creature from it's burden and take it on himself. Jason opened a hand and reached out touching the being between the eyes. A sigh of relief escaped it's black mouth. The Shadow being vanished but left behind the pulsing red orb that had been it's heart.
Taking it in his hands Jason pressed it to the wall and a crumbling began as the chains melted and the padlocks fell like a metal rain. Behind it a torrent of red rage poured over the now open edges until the imaginary wall was obliterated by the force that washed through the veins of the giant. Jason opened his eyes and stood with a massive roar his hands curled and the power awakening in his body. He could feel his strength growing as power and adrenaline surged through his veins like molten lava. Throwing back his head he roared again causing the birds to take flight and the people nearby to cower back in fear. Rage was trying to envelop Jasons mind and make him into a wild animal and it had years of held back frustration to assist it. Jason slammed his hands into the ground causing it to shake as he fought to stay himself and focus the rage into a point where he controlled it not the other way around. Power filled him and he knew he was much stronger and he began to laugh. However the words of the monk burned into his mind as if he was standing there beside him. "Rage is a weapon as long as it doesn't control you." Jason breathed deeply into his lungs and grabbing his rage he forced it into submission so he could call on it when he needed it. Maul smiled for he had taken yet another step forward to greatness.
