Appearance:Makkari sometimes wears a protective crash armor though he does not truly need it. He is dark skinned(African american descent on earth) and stands roughly 6 feet 6 inches tall. Contrary to the normal runners build Mach X is muscular in the bulky sense as to the usual lean runner. In contrast to the usual African american of earth Mach X has ocean blue eyes. He wears a low cropped hair cut and an unusually deep voice. His face is always covered by an air purifier that doubles as a cool looking mask.
Personality:Mach X is a member of the race of superhumans known as Neo. Although in most of his appearances Mach X has the typical powers of an former Neo's, his obsession with speed, starting in the time of their creation, causes him to focus most of his body's Cosmic Energy into enhancing his running speed. As a result, he lost his ability to fly and many of his other powers have been weakened in the process. Mach X possesses none of the psionic powers of the average Eternal (levitation, ocular force projection, and molecular rearrangement), having purposefully readapted all his specialized cell enclaves to speed and running-related attributes. He is a speed addict in every sense of the word but can be calm and calculating if the need arises.

—Main Power: Velocity ManipulationThe ability to control the velocity of any moving object. The ability to control velocity, pure and simple. Velocity is the speed and direction an object is moving. You can do many things with it. You could simply move things around, but the more creative the better. By controlling your own velocity, you could make yourself fly into the air. Or you could cancel somethings velocity, make it freeze where it is, even if it's in the air. You might even use velocity as a sort of force blast, blasting things away from you at high speeds.
—Flaw Sub Power: Friction ManipulationThe ability to control the friction of your own body and of objects you touch. Friction is a force that stops the movement of two touching objects. These objects do not move because of electromagnetism. By controlling friction, you can make things "sticky" or "slippery", including yourself. You can do this to objects that you have touched as well. You need to be conscious to keep these things in the state you want them to be (although you don't need to think about it). They will revert to there normal states when you sleep or are knocked out.

Velocity gains must be kept to their medium meaning if the limbs are in a constant motion then the velocity bonus does not count towards running speed.

—Description:The user has the ability to create a field around them that makes themselves or any items or organisms move at a constant speed regardless of any force that acts on it. This allows the user to run through natural unranked items, falling objects while at max speeds, etc without being damaged or decrease in speed or velocity. At C-rank this only works on the user or one item and can pierce/break through the same rank. At B-rank this works on the user and another organism as well as two items. At A-rank it can work with 3 people and 4 items. At S-rank it can work with 5 people and 10 items. This also stops him from being ripped apart at high speeds.

The user is so fluid in their movements that can enter from one physical action to another with the same speed of motion. Flaw Description:Mach X cannot breathe in the oxygen of the planet earth. Thus he wears a plastic like oxygen mask that covers his face. The mask has been fused with his own body. Though if removed Mach has 3 user posts before he begins to suffocate. At the fifth user post Mach X will die. Mach's planet is Aqua based and thus if he is able to make it into water he can retrieve oxygen(must be fully submerged). Each post without a mask the user loses 1/4 their max speed until the mask is back on or submerged in water.

The Background

History:
Mach X is the son of Verona and Mara, born in Moran, capital city of the Neo of Earth. He is a member of the Neo' Technologist's Guild and is skilled at designing and building high-speed vehicles. Mach X has involved himself in Earth's affairs more often than most Neo. Under the name Thoth, he taught writing to the Egyptians. He was taught philosophy by Plato. He rescued Sersi from "Nero's big bonfire"; and spent some time as the charioteer of Darius I of Persia. He witnessed the Trojan War, the reign of Vlad the Impaler, and the Alamo.
In the 1940s he worked on Earth, per Zuras' request, under the aliases "Hurricane" and "Mercury" (an example of retcon, these Golden Age characters were not originally supposed to be related), and fought Warlord Kro and Deviant Mutates alongside the Monster Hunters, a team he formed using his identity as National Security Agent Jake Curtiss. Later on, he taught Elvis Presley a few guitar tricks.
Following the disbanding of the Monster Hunters, Mach X was convinced by Pixie to join the First Line as "Major Mercury".[3] He and First Line fought against the original Skrull invasion of Earth, and, along with Yeti and Pixie, was one of the few members of First Line to survive the conflict. Mach X accompanied Thena to New York City to help rescue Sersi and repulse the Deviant invasion. He was with the Neo who introduced themselves to the students at City College during the Fourth Host of the Celestials.[5] He then returned to Olympia with Ikaris and Margo Damian, where he encountered Sprite. He also participated in the Uni-Mind ritual.[7] Alongside Ikaris and Sersi, he battled the Hulk robot.[8] Mach X then battled Ikaris, who was under the mental influence of Dromedan.

| For each post without your mask, there should be some hindering effects building up to the suffocation. Cause right now, let's be honest. That won't be much of a flaw with super speed, cause you could be at a large enough amount of water within a second xD | |
