Heavy Armour, And Heavier Defense {training WIP}

Midnight, it was her first assignment after she’d spent months of recovery for the injuries she’d received from the assault she’d taken from the replica hunchback. Moving into the garage she moved over to her armour stand. Moving over to her stand, she looked at the almost hulking brutish armour. It was her new combat suit, to be used inside of her Hunchback to assist if she needed to evacuate it, and be on the run. Running her hands over the large suit she noticed it came with a detachable riot shield, made of the same fibres that her mech was made of. Grasping the sides of the suit, she lifted the heavy chest-piece over her head and slipped it on, before slipping on the rest. Buckling the straps, and tying the bindings down she Flexed lightly to get use to the feel of it. God all mighty it was heavy, especially since she was only young and small. She didn’t exactly have the muscles to lift such a thing, plus it was more designed for a muscular built male, only this was modified to fit a female of her size.

After putting on the heavy suit, she tested the visors one after the other, making sure they were all in accordance with the regulations and in working order. Flicking back to normal she recognized the AI system that was in her mech, was the same in her suit. The combat suit was fitted with an AI to assist her in her missions, updating her objectives as she went. “This is Alpha Assault, Computer. Bring up tasks and mission status. I want to know the situation on Delta squad” she said, the AI wasn’t the best and most helpful but at least it gave her what she needed to know when she needed it. “Situation on delta squad: Two down, requiring immediate evacuation, and it seems that they are asking for the assistance of Alpha Assault’s new combat Suit for Riot control” the AI said, in that almost smuggish tone that Laura hated with a vengeance. With a groan Laura hopped into the jeep that had pulled up. Hell it wasn’t easy to move in this armour, it wasn’t easy to really do anything in it.
