Training in the Darkest of Night [Training][Finished] Empty
PostSubject: Training in the Darkest of Night [Training][Finished]   Training in the Darkest of Night [Training][Finished] EmptyFri Jul 13, 2012 8:10 pm

Raishin had been released from his ancient prison, and he was extremely weakened by the flow of time. In his prime, he could have done away with that pesky super strength human in a matter of seconds, and this made him realize that the sun not only was his worst enemy, but it made him far too weak to be a match against the super beings around here. He quickly figured out that there were probably a lot of other super beings popping up in this world around this time, and this made him think about his plan of action quite a bit. He needed to do some intense training, in which he would need to become a greater threat. He was much stronger, faster, and cunning than a lot of other of the super beings he had heard of so far, but not at his current state. He could be found in a bizarre, under a bunch of shade, out of the way, until of course the sun set. He got up out of the shade, waiting wasn't a problem for him, he had been doing it for around six thousand years or so, and he would then make his way out towards the desert. It was rather cold at night in the egyptian desert, but he was fine. He had a few things to keep him warm, especially when it came to drinking the blood of a few of the natives. He wasn't sure whether or not to kill more of them, so instead, he decided to go around and learn the new languages of the times. The natives still spoke relatively the same language, but then there were many people who spoke a new language to him, which seemed to be part latin, but a lot more complicated, or in that it didn't make as much sense, but as he learned more about the America and English tourists, the more he learned about the language.

He could learn extremely fast, especially things of the linguistic or mathematical nature, and he simply followed the people around, learning their mannerisms, and their language, but he found someone that intrigued him quite a bit. He was some sort of royalty, as he had beautiful clothing, a wonderfully silky voice, an of course, he had the poise and grace of a king. It seemed he was nothing more than a simple lecher, however, as he was simply going around trying to seduce certain women that weren't dark enough to be natives, and then they would mostly smack him in the face. A failed attempt at being a suave and sophisticated lady killer, Raishin started to learn from this man. Not how to pick up women, he would take care of hat himself, he simply liked his looks and mannerisms. As he was following the man around, the man got a bit annoyed, and then turned around to punch Raishin in the face, but then he met nothing, and instead, Raishin started feasting on him. The blood was good, but the lessons on how to act suave in this day and age were a lot better. As he finished that up, he needed a place to stay, and started looking around for a cave of some sort. He actually found one, and then started to travel there. He was a night person, but it seemed that all of his endeavors ate up the clock quite a bit, and so the horizon line made the sun start to show it's ugly face, however, he wasn't harmed by it at all. It didn't burn his skin, it didn't even weaken him at all, so it was a very strange occurrence.

He still didn't want to be in the sun for very long, so he simply went to the cave and started to slumber. He wanted to catch some sleep before the next day, as there would be more people on their toes, considering a lot of people suddenly went missing throughout the night. Yes, the militia might have even showed up during the night, or at least a lot of the towns folk getting weapons and such, and carrying the weapons around with them. He simply sat in the cave, and soon it was day time yet again. He awoke, not truly sleeping in the first place, as he always had one eye open for any threats, and as soon as the sun started to fall, he headed out. The sun was still not a factor to him, which made him a bit cautious, considering it had never happened before, but he thought perhaps it was because he was getting stronger by simply learning. Now would be the time to drain people of their essence, and gain stronger. He needed to go into this new world with a running start, and wanted to be able to completely destroy those who opposed him, or at least destroy their mind in the process. As he was walking, he caught a sight of himself in a mirror. The myth that a vampire was immune to reflections was entirely untrue, and as he looked at himself, he looked a bit too strange to be out in the open without someone noticing him and calling some sort of authority to the scene, and that would simply be a bother to him, especially when he wanted to drain the small town dry. As he walked around, he would find people far away from others and their houses, and simply jump on them. He could feel himself getting stronger with each person he killed, and soon he would be able to put his skills to the test.

As he was running along roofs, looking for people to devour, and even looking at the nice outfits some of the tourists had, he was learning everything quite well. Cell phones, mp3 players, and a bunch of other things were learned in a short amount of time. Well, it had been around 3 days of hm simply studying everything, but he learned quite a bit, even if he had to walk up and ask. He wasn't the strangest looking person there actually, and to the tourists, he simply looked like someone in a costume trying to get tips or something by performing int he streets, which was alright for Raishin, he simply wanted to learn everything he could. He also of course wanted to drain them dry of their blood and life force, and then gain a sizable amount of strength in the process, but that was beside the point. After a few nights of this, he knew sufficiently what life was like in the more civilized parts of the world, and even knew a lot of the household appliances, nuances, the language and other things, but of course he would certainly only learn other things when he actually visited the areas and saw for himself. His first destination after all of his vampire training was a place called New York, and he had heard that a lot of people left that area because there was a lot of super being activity and destruction there, which seemed right up Raishin's alley when it came to things that he enjoyed doing.

As he thought about all of the destruction that he could cause, and all of the slaves and minions he could receive for simply awing the locals and tourists. As he made his way towards the back ends of the bad part of the small city next to one of the lesser known pyramids, he was simply seducing women and feasting on them. He wanted to find a challenging way to test out his skills, and decided that a fun little game would be played, and so he systematically gather some of the locals and tourists up, and trapped them in his cave. He then allowed them to walk freely away, once he brought them out into the middle of the desert. He declared that he would hunt and kill them, and whoever was the last alive won, and wouldn't be killed at all. Soon he would see the personalities of the humans, whether they would band together and try to fight, or whether they would turn on each other, trying to kill everyone else until the last one stood. As the game started, they quickly fanned out, sort of staying away from each other. He was fairly sure none of them knew each other, but maybe they did, although no one broke off into pairs yet. He simply constantly watched them from afar, making sure he knew where they all were at all times, and when one would get too far away, he would hunt them down and kill them. There was this one person in particular, that ran into a sand trap, and so Raishin had to hunt him down and make sure where he was. Upon lifting the man out of the large hole, he was promptly devoured.

After a while, a few of the people formed groups, and they huddled together for warmth when the sun went down. Safety in numbers was all good, especially when they would travel someone, only to find a completely drained body that Raishin had left in front of them, simply to scare them and break morale. Once night was about to end, and the sun was starting to come up, Raishin went in on a group. They did have weapons, so it was actually difficult, but it was good training, especially when he started to get his speed back. He was a lot faster than most would let on, and he really enjoyed seeing the flashes of their eyes as you knew that was their last breath. Blood on the sand, he simply walked away, keeping his eye out for the other two groups of people. He decided to take a break during the day, even though he realized that he didn't need to fear the sun all too much, and simply allowed them to stew in their own juices. They knew that they were eventually dead unless they singled each other out, and so there was fighting, and eventually, someone killed someone else. This caused a chain reaction, and by night fall, one group had killed each other, leaving one person horribly wounded, only to bleed out about three hundred feet from the group. One more group left, and they were a bit different. They had reached civilization, or at least the remnants of an abandoned town, where they got in a truck. Raishin didn't want them to get too far, because it would be a hassle tracking them all down again, so he simply confronted them. They tried to run into him with the car, but his skin manipulation and renewed strength made short work of their car.

The group was sent scrambling out into the desert again, and were simply picked off one by one, until the last person was left. He was then left do die of thirst in the desert, as the sun literally baked him alive. Raishin simply laughed, as he made his way back to the town he started in. Once he reached there, he simply found a bar, and the rumors started spreading like wildfire. He had to leave, not that he couldn't take the whole town down, but it was too much of a bother, and he needed at least a change of clothing. He grabbed a red striped suit, and black pants from the suave guy he drained dry on one of the previous days, and then wrapped his head and face up with cloth, and so he looked like most of the other people around the town, or at least a tourist that was enjoying one of the customs to beat the heat. As he wandered the town in the late afternoon, he decided that he would do something fun, and catch a movie. There was a movie theater in town, and he wanted to see the moving pictures, and embrace the technology of the new world. As he was watching, someone kept being loud and obnoxious, talking on their cell phone during the movie, and overall just being an asshole. Not that he needed to impress the other people in the movie theater, but Raishin simply punched him in the stomach, and then threw him out of the auxiliary exit, and the people sort of smiled at that. Little did they know that the man was marked for death, as Raishin disliked anyone interrupting him or anything that he is doing.

After the movie, it was much like a horror film. The man was chased by something he couldn't explain or see all the way because of the darkness, and eventually he was running out of options. As he rounded a corner, Raishin headed onto the roof instead, and came up behind him. The man breathed a sigh of relief, when suddenly he got his throat ripped out. His story came to an end, and the rumor of a vampire in the town was solidified as a fact. People started going inside by six in the afternoon, shutting and locking all of their doors and windows, and people who were caught outside at dusk or even at night were considered dead. But again, there were a group of young punks, tourists, that thought the rumor was nothing but a hoax, and they cheered the fact that they had the whole town to themselves, and the people there were too scared to do anything should they rob a store or tag walls with graffiti. As they busted into a closed store and stole the money from the register and some other items they felt like they needed, they turned to find a lone figure in the street. Raishin was there to greet the people who were invading on his personal space. Night time was his domain, and those that would disrespect the night would pay dearly. One of the punks had a gun, but it was very difficult to stop Raishin, especially with something so crude. Raishin quickly dispatched him, and started his feast. Killing the others was easy, wrapping a skin weapon around the neck of one, while strangling the other with bare hands was fun. The other already had the throat ripped out, which was becoming a signature of his.

After his fill, Raishin decided to hide the bodies this time. He wanted to give the people a sort of mystery. He was careful to drain them of blood, as there would be no blood trail. It would seem as the bodies magically and mysteriously disappeared in the dead of night, and the rumors spread more. There would soon be a witch hunt, and the violence started. Accusations would fill the town as to who was harboring the creature, and soon the natives would turn to the tourists, as if they brought the horrible thing to their town. The tourists were attacked on a daily basis, beaten, and thrown out of the country by officials, or worse, thrown in jail. The tourists fought back sometimes, as others often do, and there were riots in the streets. Even the riots in the streets, however, didn't stop people from dropping everything they were doing, and running inside when the sun started to set. Raishin smiled at how resourceful these creatures were, but also realized that if they were thinking clearly, they would realize each of them were in a nice little container, ready to be opened and eaten, much like a tin of sardines. One by one, the town started losing people, until one day, the people decided to shut down the small town, with the officials conducting an investigation, using some of the military. Well, Raishin knew that guns were fairly strong, and the larger guns that all of these military soldiers had would be a bad time, so he simply decided to move on to his next endeavor. He wasn't sure what to do next, however, but he realized he still needed to train. He wanted to eventually kill some super beings, and start a cult, and eventually just start causing havoc and chaos everywhere he went, but to start that, he needed to train quite a bit.

Raishin realized that he wasn't quite accustomed to being the predator that he once was, even in his weaker human form, he would assassinate high priority targets more frequently, and wouldn't even bother with the everyday weaklings that crawled around like ants. However, he would need to find someone worth taking out, and for that, he needed to ask around. The ghost town now what it was, he simply looked frightened, and made his way to another town with a group of people. They assumed he was damaged in the sunlight because he was a vampire, but he quickly outgrew that weakness. He made sure to tuck the triple eye bandaged away, because they were starting to associate him with it. It was slightly fun terrorizing a town, and with all of the army and militia investigating the town, no one would notice when he started to cause a ruckus and murder people in this new, larger town. He had to be slightly more careful, however, as attracting too much attention in his weakened state wouldn't be very wise. So, he simply merged with the populace, intending to simply be around the humans when it seemed they were at their strongest. He ignored the townsmen he terrorized, and simply walked around, living with the people around the town as a tourist of sorts. He learned that humans have a great tendency to try and survive, even going as far as offering themselves as servants or what have you, as long as they can live.

This put him in an awkward emotional set, as he enjoyed toying with humans, but their thirst for survival was much like his, he wasn't going to die, not because he really hated death, but simply because that wasn't a part of his overall plan. He thought far ahead in the future most times, and dying was about the furthest thing away from his end goal as you could get, especially considering the fact that he wanted to leech everyone in some way. As he thought about this, he simply walked through the town, looking for some actual human food to eat. He didn't need food, especially when there were many giant blood sacks around him, but he wanted to do so, not only to look regular, but he wanted to witness what the humans lived off of as sustenance. As he sat down, they would ask for money, after he would ask them for something random on the menu. He looked through his pockets, and found an old wallet. The tourist that he stole the clothing from would leave behind his wallet for Raishin, how very nice. He would order a few things, and then simply wait. He probably gave the person way too much money, but he didn't care, he wouldn't need to watch his spending or anything, he simply wanted to try the food the humans ate. After a little while, the food came, and the aroma flooded Raishin's senses, and he quickly started eating. The food was rather good, although he wanted to try the more fine dining that the world had to offer. His goal was to train, and then head over to somewhere that sounded like a metropolis. The desert was nice, but he wanted an audience to his actions, and the news didn't spread very quickly over in the less populated areas.

Raishin finished his food, and then bowed to the chef who made it, leaving the area. The taste was rather good, so the chef wasn't going to die that night. As he made his way through the busy streets, he took another look at himself, as he passed a large glass window that reflected himself like a mirror. He was far too skinny, and he would need to learn how to reshape his body, but that was a skill for another time and place. For now, he was happy with himself, and he would be starting his speed training soon. He found a nice little patch of desert, and could see an oasis in the distance. Long distance running got stamina and speed up, and so he quickly took off towards the oasis. He would drink the waters there, and come back, and he would do this multiple times until he got tired, and then he would find somewhere to stay for the night. As he trained, he though about his next moves, after training. He had taken it upon himself to come up with a plan to get to new york, as flying wasn't quite an option yet. This meant that he would need money, and later, he would realize that he needed far more than he thought. He finished running, and found a hotel for the night. He simply laid in the room, and liked the feel of a bed instead of the ground. These humans knew how to be gluttons, and how to treat themselves like royalty, but it seemed that everyone had these things in the current times. Times changed so fast it seemed, because everyone hear acted like a king, although they sure complained about their lives an awful lot.

People seemed to be happy and content with their lives, but this would soon come to an end. Just thinking about the violence and havoc he would cause made Raishin's spine tingle a little. He would leave them be for now, only to drink their blood, and hey, perhaps he wouldn't even kill them, simply drink enough to make them pass out and go on to the next person. He was feeling quite generous now that he was out of the tomb he was set to stay in forever, and it was quite fun being unleashed onto the world. He would need to learn how to infect people with his virus, as he wanted a large cult of followers soon, especially when he had command over them, and he could give them a small taste of his vampire abilities. As he wandered the streets, he found a particularly fun place, in which attracted the most people who weren't from the area. The place that attracted the most tourists was a bar, a place that sold hard alcohol to people. Well, there would soon be a large fight breaking out over something very trivial, and the powder keg would explode. Raishin walked into the bar, and he wasn't the type that looked like he should be in there. You had your buff guys with little clothing, trying to seduce women, and you had your big burly biker gang type, that simply gave everyone a bad time. Then you had Raishin, a tall, pale, skinny pretty boy that looked like some sort of rich guy. He got attention almost right away, as he walked up to the bar. Raishin asked if they sold wine, which quickly got a bunch of laughs, and got him surrounded by a bunch of people who were just out to make trouble.

They had no idea what they were getting themselves into, and someone had the bright idea of taunting Raishin, to which he responded quickly about how they were homosexuals and that their mothers didn't cost more that the cruddy outfits they were wearing. This got a pool stick broken over Raishin's head, in which he simply laughed. No blood, no damage at all, and yet, it seemed only to anger the people more. Someone punched him in the face, and this started a chain reaction of beating. Although. his skin being extremely durable, he simply shrugged off the attacks and laughed at their futile efforts. Getting up after they got tired of wailing on him, Raishin simply grabbed one of them by the throat, and controlling his skin scarves, he tied them around his head, showing the triple vertical eye design that people came to fear. The gasps in the room were a good sign that they were frightened, and another good sign was the scent of urine. The bar was quickly turned into a gory scene, as Raishin ripped through the bar patrons that wronged him, as the bartender simply stared in shock at the scene. When Raishin was all done, and had his fill, he simply gave some money for to the bartender as some sort of payment. Raishin then told him to keep the change, and grabbed a nice top hat from one of the hat racks. It seemed that the people kept it as a joke, but he enjoyed it. As he left the bar, he managed to stay clean of blood, even though he slaughtered around five people in there. He got his stomach full, but he still didn't get any wine, perhaps this place simply didn't have it.

As he wandered around, the police quickly showed up with a description of what Raishin looked like, so he had to ditch the clothing, and that was fine with him. As he wandered around, he managed to find some new clothing, and he asked some people around how much it would take to go to New York, and it seemed fairly expensive, although he could easily accumulate the money, it would simply be too long. He mulled over the idea of learning how to hypnotize people, because that seemed to be the simplest option, plus he would be able to do a lot more with that than simple money. He also learned that he might need to get something called a passport, and considering he didn't really exist, he couldn't quite get one... legally at least. It seemed like the greatest hassle was going to be going on without the ability to bend people to his will, so he would try to learn that next. Regardless, he would make his way over to the abandoned town, after it was completely swept, trying to look for him, and take up residence in a large house there. He would sleep until he needed to go out again, and would make sure not to disrupt the towns again too much, considering he was trying to keep a low profile. It wasn't doing very good, considering that he basically devoured anybody he came across. The sun was setting, and this was probably the first time that he would be sleeping at night, and he wasn't even sure he could, because the night energized him. However, he fell asleep rather quickly, enjoying the softness of an expensive bed. He cursed to himself slightly, knowing that he was now slightly addicted to human luxuries, meaning he would need a lot of money for when he went over to New York. Then Raishin simply fell asleep, even though he thought he couldn't, it seemed a full night of killing and devouring people got to him.
