Item Power: A not so simple flash bang, which causes a small series of extremely bright flashes and deafening bangs, that blind, deafen, and disorient those in the blast radius for 2 posts. After the small button is pressed, the cylinder will cause the series of flashbangs after 3 seconds, allowing one adjustable time. There is a delay of one second between each flash.

Item Power: Once a small button on the side of the knuckle of the index finger is pushed by the thumb, the core will emit all of it's energy stores, creating a powerful shield made of energy. The shield is about 1 1/2 meters, or 5 feet around. This energy is pure mana, making it difficult to break through for a single attack of it's rank or below, or for 2 seconds. After the time is up, the device is basically useless.

the shield is is single use, yes, although there can be multiple on my person at once.

as for the flashbang, I asked Amatsu, and he said that a human techie type person would be able to make a flashbang and stuff, but I'll get him to post on here
