The Night is Dark and Full of Terrors [Site Plot]

The rumors once said once every thousand years the planets aligned. Once this occurred, specific spheres would show themselves on the face of the Earth, each with a celestial connection to a corresponding planet. Once each of these spheres were brought together, it was said the one who held them all would be granted one wish. Each sphere would be protected in its own way; whether it be by guardian or traversing a dangerous booby trapped temple. The one to collect them all would become the most powerful being on this side of the universe. These rumors brought competition and conquest. Within the temples of old, a young Mockingbird fought the illusion of death to claim the yellow sphere of Saturn. On the frigid peaks of the world, a young child and a demon of old would battle to claim the green sphere of Earth. At the depths of the ocean, three battled for the blue sphere of Neptune. One claimed the sphere, but it was lost to another. Its current holder, being a one of death. The Grim Reaper himself. Within the volcanoes of the planet, a young speedster claimed the red sphere of Mars. And last, a demon claimed the silver sphere of Mercury within the lost woods of the world. The rumors said when they were all together, that was when the unthinkable would happen. Those rumors, were merely lies.

The precise moment when each sphere had been taken from its guardian. That precise moment where one felt they were closer to solving the final puzzle of the cosmic spheres. That was when each began to crack...and soon shatter into dust. Coming from the remains of the sphere would be a corresponding light to their color. When the silver sphere of Mercury shattered, the glowing silver light would move to its owner. In this specific case, it sought out the one without a Name, and bathed him in its cosmic light. The green sphere had also shattered, but with its owner already bathed in the light of another, it chose the closest host it could find. It chose the child laying in a comatose state, bathing him in a green hue. In Japan, the red sphere shattered into dust and bathed the speedster in a crimson hue. The blue sphere, being in close proximity, would also shatter and choose its own host. It would be the one who reeked of Death, bathing him a blue colored hue. The last sphere, being in the possession of the pale Mockingbird, would shatter and engulf him in a pure cosmic enhanced hue of yellow.

For those few seconds, it would feel as though nothing had changed for these five hosts. That all changed in a matter of a few seconds. The girl in Japan that had been bathed in the red light would suddenly feel her blood begin to boil. Every cell in her body would be on fire, and it would bring about a bloodcurdling yell. Throughout her screams, a intense flame would shoot outward from her body, engulfing the entire building she currently stood upon. This flame continued outward, covering an entire block before seemingly exploding, and incinerating all the people and obstructs within its blaze. Only a crater would be left with the young speedster in the center. The one who reeked of Death, and who was bathed in the blue light, would be forced out the radius of the blast. The feint glow protected him from the burning blaze, but would soon subside once he hit the earth outside the crater. One would think the worst was over, but that wouldn't be the case. This reaper of death would soon go through his own suffering. The aura of death around him would grow to levels unfathomable. Those lucky to survive the cosmic explosion from the speedster would soon have their souls reaped from them, dropping them dead onto the spot. Throughout this, all the souls taken would come back into the host of the blue sphere, and with each soul came a burning in his skull that felt like it could burst through within a second. After what seemed like days of torture, all would be quiet in Japan..as the two sphere hosts wiped out an entire of city block, being the only ones left alive throughout the chaos. These would not be the only two to suffer from the power of the spheres..

On the peak of the world, the host of the Silver and Green spheres would have their own moments of uncontrollable power. The demon, one who already had such abilities of telekinesis and telepathy, would feel a sudden growth in his abilities. Every thought of every person on the planet would suddenly begin to pour into his skull at once. It would feel as though the weight of the world was repeatedly being pounded into his head, and in response, he'd release a pyshic backlash that would explode outward at an accelerated rate. It would be powerful enough to literally destroy the upper right section of Mt Fuji, causing a massive avalanche of misplaced snow and rubble to begin to stampede down the newly created slope. The host of the green sphere was caught in this stampede, but not for long. Even in a comatose state, the mind wandered. The anchor that was previously placed upon him would become weak and frail. Through sheer power, time folded in on itself around him, taking the entire avalanche of snow, rubble, and debris; not to mention another massive section of the large mountain aswell. Wherever the boy would reappear, he'd be dropping an avalanche and an entire 2 mile wide portion of the mountain, on landing. Not a small feat for anyone..

Last but not least, the host of the yellow sphere. Somewhere in the center of Tianlong, China, the spheres touch would affect him aswell. His body could hardly keep its form, as it expanded abnormally. Out of his eyes, ears, mouth, pours. Anywhere the force gathered within him could escape, large blasts of concussive energy would explode outward, tearing the land asunder. The assassin stronghold in Tianlong, China would be destroyed from the boy's sudden explosion of energy, bringing the entire place down upon him. When the dust finally settled, there would be nothing but rubble around his body, and a feint glow of energy resonating from his frame.



Each of the sphere's hosts had suffered from a greater power. A power that was born during the first big bang and had been sleeping since the beginning of the universe's creation. The spheres were not created to grant a wish. They were created to be a world's ultimate destruction. Armageddon. The last civilization that relied on the sphere's power was wiped out completely by this "greater power." It used the spheres as a beacon to find the world and to destroy it. To bathe it in its purifying flame. The hosts of these spheres were now beacons for the end. A force with immeasurable power would be awoken simply because a false rumour.
