The Myths Meet [P, Nameless]

After about a year of living on the planet called Earth, Nol finally got a hang of living there, even though he stuck to the night, considering he was homeless, he had to wash his one outfit and himself in fountains and such, but it was just like being in a wilderness made of concrete. He had to utilize any means necessary, and the fountains were just like springs, so he didn't see much harm in it, especially when he saw people in them all the time. He simply walked, without a shirt, which usually brought strange looks upon him, around the town, which was actually the country's capital, not that he knew that. He didn't rightfully care either, as he simply walked around, and he mostly had to take what he wanted at night. He was a thief, but a fairly mediocre one, as he only stole what he needed to eat. He would be walking around at about dusk, right when the sun was going down, and simply wandering around the streets, that weren't quite empty, but there were a lot less people in them compared to the normal hustle and bustle of the day. It was fairly cool out at that time of day, but it didn't really effect Nol, even though he didn't have a shirt on or anything, he still had a hooded sweat.. cape thing.

He had marked this day as the one year anniversary of the day he got teleported from his dimension to this one. He was seriously debating whether or not to take over the place, simply because these humans that were running around seemed so weak, but then he noticed something odd. there were a great variety of super beings, much like himself, that resided in this world, and of course, there were good people, there were the evil ones, and then those who simply did whatever they felt like doing. Wherever there is power, there were people who use it for good, and those who abuse it. He wanted to use his powers for a better purpose than simple destruction around the city, and it seemed that he might get his chance. He was definitely different from the other beings wandering around, he highly doubted any of them clawed their way through the washed of their own corrupted and insane mental walls, to come out on top without losing themselves. then again, not many people were born in the depths of Naraka.

Steps would be heard behind the man as the one known as Nameless appeared to come out of nowhere. "Naraka a beautiful place I often vacation" he was being sarcastic of course. The place was a piece of sh*t to say the least. He had often been cast there and he would rather avoid such a place at all costs. The bowls of hell and Naraka could both piss off in his eyes. However from what he picked from the man's brain he was a native there. It was rare to catch another underworld native so his inquisitive mind got the best of him. He could tell the man was a fighter simply from his build, not telepathy was needed for that. "You are new to this place? I am....well my name is not important. Though I would like to help you find your way my friend. I believe you have to follow in order to lead...do you agree. Though I would like to test your battle experience.

Nol quickly noticed a sudden presence behind him, and as he was still on the ground, he simply looked backwards to see a man, or at least that is what the voice lent to, hovering over him. It had only been a few hours judging by the position of the sun, but his hands didn't hurt anymore, and it seemed the bandages did their jobs in that regard, and they weren't bleeding much. The man seemingly knew of Naraka with no prior knowledge, and since the people of that place didn't have a system of telling each other, this person could obviously read his mind. He hadn't told anyone, mostly because he hadn't spoken to anyone since he got to the planet. It was a lot nicer here than Naraka, and it seemed the man asked if he was new here. Nol simply stood up, not bothering with an actual response, considering the mind reader knew of one thing, it wasn't really useful to talk too much. Nol simply tilted his head, and put a creepy little smirk on his face, before addressing the man and his questions.

"Enough with the small talk, if you can see inside my head, you know the answer to all of your questions already. You also said exactly what I wanted to hear from someone, which seems a bit too good. As for the last bit. There are some things that can only be conveyed through battle."

Nol would get in a stance, and he wondered how he would fair against this man. The power emanated from the person who didn't give his name, and Nol didn't give one in return, because why should he? The man was simply going to sift through his mind to find the truth anyway. Nol had his elbows close to his body, he was hunched over slightly to have his body be a smaller target, his arms ready to deflect or parry blows. He judged the distance between them to be about 5 feet, meaning he would need to get closer. The man in the strange suit seemed to have powers that weren't martial, but he was confident enough in his abilities to take on someone who was.

Nol knew he was probably going to be bested, but that's not what the man wanted it seemed. The man seemed to want to build some sort of trust or relationship, a team up of sorts. This was strange, but Nol would figure it out later. Nol then inched forward, sliding his feet to get into position. His knees were bent and flexible, and right when he reached about 3 feet from the man, he threw a simply jab towards his right pectoral muscle.

In Ninjutsu the kamae refer to distancing, orientation and atitude. The Ninjutsu kamae differ by definition then those of other martial arts by referring to attention, breath patterns, and body position. By using reverse kata analysis, the Ninjutsu combat stances are attributed to adaptation. The user entered a Ichimonji no kamae style This stance is the precursor of many kata in Takamatsu den Ninjutsu. He would instantly calculate distance watching the man's breathe patterns. The man's body posture was that of a fighter. He maintained a good center of target as well as shrunk posture to become harder to hit. He watched the man as he inched forward to get into attack range. Eyes narrowed when he saw the man's knees bend in and his feet slide forward. It was then in the shortest most direct method that his foot would slide over the man's attempting to pin it down simutaneously throwing a punch to match the man's own mirroring him exactly. According to his calculations their fists should clash. Using the momentum of his opponents fist and his own stregnth he would try and render the man's arm useless. This would be followed up by the opposing left knee to the man's gut that was time to hit as soon as the shock of the arm took place if it landed. If not it would deal as a secondary stand alone attack.

The man seemed to get in his own stance, and as Nol slid his foot forward to jab, the man then answered back, pinning down Nol's right foot by covering it with the man's own, and then jabbing forward so that their fists would connect. Nol could tell that the man's punch had greater force, and this was most likely done so that the man's force would over power Nol's, and thus injure his hand. However, Nol had a back up plan, that he sort of thought up on the spot. As the punches were about to connect, Nol opened his hand, revealing an open palm, and then simply stopped it there, making sure he elbow didn't lock like a full punch would. The punch was rather intense, but the limber body of Nol allowed for him to grab the man's fist, and lean backwards. At the same time as the fists connected, he raised his knee, the one that wasn't trapped under the man's foot, and went of a knee blow into the man's rib cage. Since he pulled the weight backwards, and the man must have had been supporting his weigh on the foot that wasn't holding Nol's down, it would be rather easy to throw him off balance. Nol would continue, knee strike successful or not, and attempt to throw the man behind him using the momentum from the man's punch.

The man caught his fist but he didn't catch that knee he sent to his gut placing an ample amount of power into it. The man had to have his fingers spread in order to effectively catch his fist. Given superior strength and close proximity the man would attempt to slip the thumb of the caught fist over the thumb of his opponents spread palm. If this was successful given the distance he would jerk the thumb downward as the man attempted to fall back forcing him downward. Somehow the man managed to sneak his own knee into the fray in which again he would be mirrored and Nameless's knee would once again rise to counter with a much greater force. If the jerking to the thumb lock had worked the the man would be forced down to a knee and off of his vertical base where he would be a softer target for the next assault. However if the thumb lock did not work he would turn in to the body so that the man's knee could gain very little momentum given the he did have much space to rear back and drive it inward. When the knee collided Nameless would breathe out so the blow would not disorient him. His state of balance would stay in tact and he used the contact the knee gave him to trap it with his free left hand. If this alternate path was taken nameless would have two points of contact in very close quarters where the top of his skull would swiftly be sent to the base of the man's nose.

It seemed that his theories were correct, in that this man was much stronger than he was, and that he was far more powerful than one would think right off the bat. As he leaned backwards, the man would force his thumb out, and try to get it to lock Nol's hand in place. At the same time, the man's knee would be rising towards his own. His leaning back had a purpose, instead of simply trying to dodge the punch and counter attack, because he quickly twisted his body, so that his foot was at the man's chest, and the knee would graze his thigh, before the foot would simply push off the chest. He would release his hand, so that the thumb lock would fail, as he simply tried to gain distance from the man, pushing out from under his foot, simply because enhanced strength didn't mean he was any heavier. As he pushed back, he did a hand spring, and the sheer power of the man's knee grazing his thigh would most likely leave a large bruise. His hand was also slightly in pain, simply from catching the man's hand. "Well, you confirmed a few things for me. This is simply a test for you. Well then, I'm going to see if I can't show you something worth while." As he said this, the outside of his body would rapidly turn pitch black, as the carbon atoms rose to the surface and rearranged their structure, to form a type of armor. It was true that he was a lot slower now, but he simply didn't want to break himself upon this man's strikes. He would get in his stance once more, and wait for the man. The distance between them was now 4 and a half feet.

He would watch as the man pushed off of him using his foot to pry away. Yet Nameless would not let up. As the man separated using his leg strength Nameless's foot that was free from pinning his down had dug into the ground keeping him from being pushed back. It was because of this he was still able to shadow the man at a relatively close distance. When his buddy decided to perform a hand spring an acrobatic move in which a person executes a complete revolution of the body by lunging headfirst from an upright position into a handstand and then pushing off from the floor with the hands so as to leap back to an upright position. A flashy way to create distance in most cases but in close proximity it provided an opening for the opponent. He stayed just outside of kicking distance until the man had both hands planted firmly on the ground and his feet in the air. It was then that Nameless quickly closed the gap with a swift step and delivered a powerful forward kick aimed at the center of the spine with flawless form. Though he would hold back not to paralyze the man. Whatever the outcome of the kick 3 small disks would quickly appear in his hand and upon recovery(whether the kick landed or not) the objects would be thrown at the man's shoulder.

As he was hand springing backwards, the man suddenly sent a kick into Nol's back, displaying that he was much faster than his previous movements would have suggested. Nol flew backwards a bit and slid, his back was no longer usable really, but he still formed the carbon shield, as he was planning to do, but it just took him a little longer. The discs that the man threw would be blocked, as the armor would start forming right after he would hit, and would start at the back, and reach the shoulder before the discs would reach, but barely. Nol would simply sit up, and face the man, as his body finished getting coated in his armor. He looked at the man, and although he didn't need to speak, since the man was probably just going to read his mind regardless, he would speak anyways. "Well, what is your real purpose? I highly doubt you wanted to do nothing more than best me in combat." Nol watched the man, and it would hopefully seem to bring the fighting to a stop. Nol would probably barely be able to stand up after the massive blow to his back, so he sort of hoped that this man wouldn't send him back to Naraka so soon, as that was where he would most likely go if his physical body was destroyed.

He smiled....."I am competent in combat. Your potential far surpasses mine in hand to hand. You just not have scratched the surface of what you can do." he would extend his hand to the man. It was something that he rarely did but he knew that the man was somewhat trustworthy. "The creatures of this realm are weak ....some not so much in body, but mentally they are out of tune. Anyone in this realm needs allies or they will be eaten alive it is no different than the realms we come from. Though the environment is not as hostile, some of the citizens are. If you join me the world shall be your oyster and you will rule not only this world but all worlds. Though it will take some work. There is an organization that we can pull resources from from we will have to put in a little manual labor. That is if you are game?"

Nol looked at the man, as he started to explain his true intentions, or at least what he was going to tell Nol for the time being, and it would seem that he didn't beat around the bush. He recognized Nol's potential, and then said something else, but Nol was simply going to hear him out fully, before commenting back with his own input. The man finished, with a proposition of Nol ruling, and Nol took the man's hand, reverting his armor back into his body, and the rose up off the ground, and a slight pop in his back said that he would be good to go. Nol shook his head at the man however, and looked towards him. "I'm a type that simply enjoys the ride. I don't really care what the goal is." Nol said with a smirk, before stretching his back some, and then returning to look at the man. "So, what's the deal? I work for you and get to have fun right? Seems good to me." The sun was at about 6 o clock in the afternoon, and it seemed that he had burnt up most of his day, however he would need to sleep yet again, as the back injury added onto his hands and feet would probably take some resting to get right again. He wasn't sure if he was going to travel with this guy or if he was just going to call on him when he was needed, but either way, he would have to wait for the response, and even though he wanted to sit back down and loaf around, he tried to be courteous towards his new 'boss'.

"Well we have work to do. I need to go to Japan to handle some business. What I need you to do while I am gone is track down the location of the spheres that look like these." He would open his palm to reveal a silver sphere and in an instant it was gone. "If you can manage to get your hands on one it would be highly appreciated, but at bare minimum we need the locations. If you catch someone alone with it take it from them of course. We need as many as we can get our hands on, these little orbs are the keys to victory my friend. "He let his hands rest on the man's shoulder. "I'm sure you will come through for me. I shall be back shortly my friend. It was then that a he would simply sink into his shadow and he was gone.

It seemed that their fight was over, and it was also learned that the person, who had yet to give his name, waned him to find some sort of spheres, and that he should take them from people who had them if he could. Well, these orbs seemed rather strange, but he wasn't the extremely intelligent telepath, he was more or less the muscle, and so he simply nodded. "I don't really have any tracking abilities, but I'll do what I can." A smirk on his face, as it seemed to be his trademark, he would then tart walking away. The man disappeared, and then it was just him, and he was fairly tired again. Even though something crazy had just happened, he still got a lot of sleep, but his injuries were rather annoying. He would find a nice spot, and then would sleep yet again. He would wake up a while later, and then he would start his training, and then the hunt for the spheres. The man said he was going to Japan, and Nol didn't really know what he was talking about, considering he barely learned the essentials of living in this country, but he simply assumed it was another blotch of land on the planet.
