The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty
PostSubject: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 12:01 am

Ms. Flash. A name she picked up because one of her favorite comic book heroes. She was rather new to the hero work, but recently she had been getting alot of publicity in her small little state of California. She was slowly becoming an icon to the people, which was something both her mother and father would have been proud of. Dashing down the street, Ms. Flash would be running fast enough for people to acknowledge her presence. She waved to the people and they waved back. She even spoke to a few people by name, and they answered back with a pleasant tone. It was like the people of San Francisco was her family, and with her recent actions she was finally adopted into their own. It felt..Nice. The people she were staying with had finally moved into the city from the motel they were staying in on the outskirts of New York. Tara had to pull some strings and work long hours, but she finally got them a place right next to her own. Everything was looking up for her life, and she was happy to be young and alive. After doing her daily rounds around the city, the young heroine pulled into an In and Out burger place. People clapped for her entrance, and she rubbed her head and waved in response. Walking up to the counter the young superhero would put a hand on her hip while rubbing her chin with the other. "Can I get fifty burgers?" She asked with a smile, and the boy behind the register would laugh and enter the information. The price popped up, and the young female would pat her suit down and smack her head. "No money in the supersuit. Great. I should start keeping some money in my gloves. So dumb.." She spoke outloud and the manager of the store would walk up and begin to click a few buttons on the register. The price would be voided and he'd give a smile to the young woman. "Don't worry about it. You saved my daughter at the race tracks when that psycho went through the stands killing everyone." Tara looked with an expression of indifference before nodding towards the man. She was in total shock..

This shock would end short when a man would burst down the front door and raise a firearm. "Everyone down right now! This is a stick up! Empty the money!" Tara stood there and slowly turned to the guy. "Dude are you serious? I'm right here." Extending her hand, she would spin it at a high velocity and cause of gust of air to blow the guy out the door and onto the sidewalk. Dashing out behind him, she'd grab a red strap from a pole and continue to dash around him until he was tied and secured in place. Running back in without stopping once, she'd stop at the counter when her burgers were finished. "Thanks a bunch!" She spoke with a smile as she walked to a table and started to eat the burgers. Above her was a TV that was displaying some sort of news. Apparently there was a fight that took place at a bridge earlier in the day. Some cops were killed aswell...She watched with open eyes in complete confusion. Someone was even interviewed. "It was crazy! There was a golden blur that showed up! We all thought it was Flash but it was some guy! Anyway this crazy woman was killing cops left and right, and the guy arrived to stop her in her tracks. He dashed at her fast enough to cause a sonic boom, and ended up getting hit with his own shockwave and smashing into the side of a cop car. The woman made it worst by walking up to the boy and killing him where he stood. He was just a kid.." Tara watched this news broadcast with wide eyes as she ate. She had never encountered anyone who had speeds that matched her own, and apparently this boy was one of them. Yet, he was killed. They showed a video of the scene using the bridge's cameras and it did indeed show someone with extreme speed arriving on the scene in a blur similar to her own. And they even showed the graphic scene of the woman picking him up, and punching through his cripple body with no mercy. It took Tara literally a millisecond to recognize the woman. It was the woman she had kissed and saved previously...She had saved a murderer. If she put that woman behind bars, or did something beforehand, she could have stopped the kid's death. Tara couldn't help but drop the burger on the table, as her green eyes narrowed at the TV. "..I should have been there."

The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 5:33 am

Emelie was taking a morning jog, her gray wife beater and blue athletic shorts made her feel quite free and open. She really was losing much energy, she had already been running for 16 miles. After a while of running, she began to get bored the running and running over and over and over again. then something odd happened, for the first time since she lost her memory, she thought she'd recognize the place. As you travel down the sidewalk dodging and moving past people who strolled across the sidewalk, she continued her heading towards his shop. This being the first place you'd actually recognize since her amnesia, she knew she had to walk inside. Just the outside of the place looked familiar, she felt as if she had already been here before, she quickly opened the door and found something that was quite odd. If she could remember correctly standing at the counter was the superhero who dropped her off in Washington DC. She wasn't angry at the woman she really has no feelings about the woman, it was just time and the place. People began to look at her oddly, no one normally looked at her she was very pretty although, but this is more than just that they stood there in shock and multiple ones started to stand up and leave. She had no idea why they were leaving or why they would just leave their meals untouched on the tables. This place did feel familiar, maybe she had done something here, the woman in the suit stood in front of her, with her attention all directed on the TV. She saw herself on the TV, doing some great violent act to some poor man. This made her cringe, she didn't want to look at the television screen she just looked away. Now she knew why the people ran and this made her wonder "what did I do, why would I do something like that. What is wrong with me who am I." the screen then showed a reporter now talking about something else, "S.H.I.E.L.D agencies are now claiming that this woman is highly dangerous and to be avoided at all cost, superheroes are not to intervene. The loss of another great life, would be detrimental to our current society, so superheroes please notify your nearby S.H.I.E.L.D agency. This goes on for another few more sentences about shield claiming that she's extremely dangerous and various other thing" the reporter said. She hadn't a clue what was going on, all this seemed frightened her. The superhero at the counter, was now alerted to turnaround by one of the staff members. As a woman turned around Emelie stood there not knowing what to do or where to go. Standing with her hands by her side and in looking at the ground trying to avoid her glare.

The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 7:58 am

Ms. Flash's eyes caught notice of the man looking towards the door after she had already taken her food, sat down, eaten, and watched the news. It was a delayed reaction, after she filled her stomach, but she would look. To her surprise, the murderer had popped back up right infront of her again. This was perfect. Atleast for her. It had been awhile since she had beaten someone to a pulp and thrown them behind bars. That was one thing Ms. Flash could do that Tara could never. Standing up, the blond heroine said nothing, as she quickly extended an arm and rotated her arms at super human speeds. This would create a massive vortex blowing at 70mph towards the woman at the door with enough power to push her out of the restaurant and into the street. "Call the police." The woman said to the man behind the counter. "I only hope they get here before I do something drastic. I have no sympathy for those who take the lives of others." Running through the now broken doors, Ms. Flash would run out into the street and begin to run circles around the woman at superhuman speeds, keeping her in the center by a twenty foot radius. The blonde had no words for the woman. Tara never spoke to murderers. She usually laughed and even created jokes when going against her various villains, but not this one. If the woman, named Emelie, couldn't escape the vortex before Ms. Flash ran circles around her, she'd find the winds so strong they'd lift her off her feet and throw her into the sky, sending her straight into the wall of a building with a big enough impact to crack the wall and cause the foundation to crumble.

Stopping on the dime, the speedster would look up towards the building while grabbing various rocks off the ground with super speeded movements. Soon she would find herself holding more then three small rocks in her right hand, as her eyes would narrow. The people, already being aware of the situation, would begin to scatter out of the area to avoid the crossfire. There was one thing Ms. Flash knew she would have to do after sending the murderer to a prison that could hold her. She'd need to go pay her respect to the speedster that died by her hand, and even talk to his parents about what happened. She wasn't responsible for his death, but she would be sure to avenge it..More or Less. It was her job as a hero, and California was her state to protect. Yet, she was too focused on her own personal life to take out the real threat, and now a young boy was dead because of her. She was just as responsible as the authorities and would need to make sure this one would be behind bars from now until she rotted. No sympathy for murderers.

The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 4:58 pm

As Emelie was looking down at the ground she was suddenly hit by a rush of air, her body immediately knew what was going on. She quickly rushed further and closer toward the door, her body decided it was time to take some action. Write as she reached the door she grasped onto the edges of the doorframe. She then quickly saw the young girl run forward, she didn't know she was doing she was moving fast, instead of dodging the charge, she would lift her lower torso up while using her strength to grip onto the sides of the doorframe. She would then use are free legs, to kick the girl in the back of the neck and come across with another kick across her jaw using her heel to smash into her face. The woman had already started her run towards the door, this made Emelie wonder if the woman could stop, she was already so close to Emelie that practically by the time she had stopped at the door frame the woman was already in her face, if this woman couldn't stop or change directions quickly she would quickly be booted down, her legs waited to strike pondering if you would land a hit or not. Emelie really wasn't sure why she was being attacked and what she had done. she's now thought that her old self was quite the bigoted evil person that she hoped she wasn't. This girl had sort have saved her, but not really.. For it seems as if she really didn't need saving, although the adventure in Sweden was quite odd. This seems to me more straight up and more simple, her body would seem to work well in this situation, even with this woman's quick movements and we still could react. Her body had noticed that she was much faster than the previous adversary, so it made a few adjustments just in case there was some unknown abilities in this woman. With her kicks, she was also prepared to plunge or dodges any moment. They were very close and no one knew what the outcome would be.

The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 5:15 pm

This woman seemed to have some fight in her, as she pushed herself back up to make it to the door. She probably built some confidence after killing the amateur speedster. He was just a kid. No older than some high schooler. He probably didn't have as much control over his ability such as flash, and she would show her skills here and now. The woman was a fool to lift her frame up from the ground. That gave away a large margin of control she could have possibly had when fighting the female flash. However, Ms. Flash would give no signs to this fool move. Infact, she appeared as though she wouldn't be able to stop in time, probably boosting the woman's confidence in her move even more. And at the very last second, the very margin of a last second where it looked like the speedster was going to be kicked, she would suddenly stop on a dime right before the full extension of the kicks, and her aura projection would shoot of into the woman at 600mph with under two feet between them. The aura would most likely hit the woman dead on, igniting her in intense heat and lighting her clothes on fire in the process. Ms. Flash, on the other hand, would take a super speed back step to create a three meter distance between them after the attack. Reaching to her left, she'd grab two forks with her left hand while keeping her eyes on the opponent. The expression on her face was anger. Something that rarely took her, but it wasn't enough to make her misplace judgment. The Flash would never let anger get to him, and so she would not let it plague her either. But one way or another, this opponent would go to jail in extensive care, or regularly.

The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 5:35 pm

A youthful hand patted the orange head of hair, trailing its fingers through the smooth locks down the back of her head. It, belonging to a he, circled back up the head, belonging to a her, before reaching a unique protrusion. A soft triangular 'organ' known as an ear. It appeared to be belonging to this human she, but it had several characteristics that inferred that it shouldn't; the first of which being that it was placed diagonally on top of head head and sticking through her hair. The second reason being was that the back of this organ was covered in orange fur, and of course its size and shape—by all means this ear should have belonged to a fox, yet it didn't. It belonged to Sonas, the she-fox of no reputation thus far. Still, cast away your rash perceptions; besides her ears, only the poofy fox tail sticking out of the back of her black jeans could be considered fox-like, for she otherwise appears entirely human in appearance. The two traits could be easily confused with simple cosplay attire at first glace. Sonas looked more like a young female teenager, sporting a thin frame, long orange hair, expressive orange eyes, and smooth light skin. She, like most humans, also wore clothing such as the aforementioned pants, and the tan sweater.

But the detached hand? It was not detached, but rather it belonged to an even younger boy who subconsciously stroked Sonas' head as one would an animal. His name was Thomas, he was 7, homeless, and lacking a family. Perhaps it was a new Record in a place like California, but Thomas didn't care because he had Sonas. This young boy was adorned in a dark blue sweater with a hoodie cast over his head, and he had torn up gray sweatpants for his lower half. Unlike Sonas who preferred bare feet, Thomas protected his feet with a pair of black and red-detailed Nike's that he had gotten for his last birthday. As his hand automatically pet Sonas, his eyes were focused forward at the entrance to one of many burger joints in this city: In-and-Out Burger, they were called. From their vantage point hiding between two closely parked vehicles not too close but not too far from the restaurant, they observed the commotion inside, for indeed there was commotion. At first Thomas became interested when a young female arrived practically at the speed of sound, or so Tommy's mind liked to think. He was too young and oblivious to current events to know who this woman was, but he knew a super when he saw one, just like Sonas.

He looked back over to Sonas with a soft smile on his face, watching as the young girl purred in content with her eyes closed, obviously enjoying his ministrations. She sat on her knees with her hands on them, technically facing the same direction as Thomas but not really paying attention to the case. Reassuring himself that Sonas was still there and enjoying herself, Thomas returned his attentions back to the restaurant just as things began to get hectic. Loud sounds, glass being shattered by an unseen force. One super suddenly fighting against another. Tommy's eyes widened, and his mind was in rush hour as though a switch had gone up in it. There were two thoughts that shot straight to the forefront of his mind; the first, of course, was immediate concern for Sonas' safety. The second conflicted that however, as this was one of the rare opportunities that Thomas could exploit to survive on the streets. With chaos within the premises, he figured that it was a chance to... appropriate some food. He was raised well, and there wasn't a doubt it went against his conscious; but after a month of scavenging garbage cans and dumpsters, the impact was dulled. He needed food for him, and for Sonas.

"What do you think, Sonas?" Thomas asked with a slight glance her way, but she was far too preoccupied with relaxing into his massage. He hadn't really expected an answer from her after living with her for so long, but asking these questions retained his sanity. His mind was made up already; he needed the food.

The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 6:22 pm

The woman stopped right in front of her, she knew something was awry to avoid any tricks the woman would have up her sleeve. She would quickly back away from the woman, after noticing that the welcome stand standing in front of the store, had burst into flames. She jumped back using her hands to pol-volt herself away from the woman. With eyes still fixed on the woman, "Why areyou attacking me, I haven't done anything" that was most likely she'd be able to get out before the woman attacked. She then propped herself keeping both eyes on watching the woman as she guided the to straight people. She wasn't fast, well she was fast but Emelie could still keep up with her, but she felt that she would nearly keep this up for long. She needed to find a weakness in the defense, she needed to prep and begin readiness for this battle. Being a few good feet out of the building, and dodging the flames she knew that to contain a speedster, she needed the enclosed area. She couldn't risk it on the street even though was only 16 feet wide and only stretched a few hundred feet. With many turns and roundabouts, after witnessing what she'd been able to do within the store, it seemed she needs something more confined in even closer together. She knew she could run such you have to fight your way off each step she made. In the corner of her eye she knows something a very small empty alley, for anyone to run through it would scrape and bust their arms up. And with the brick wall at the other end, she felt she could get within the alley which is only 20 feet away, she would be able to use her combat prowess and slow down the speedster and if not she had noticed a few other things. That she would not yet reveal.

The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 7:52 pm

Out of the blue it began, an orange-haired teen shot out from between two cars, launching herself on all fours toward the front doors of In-and-Out Burger as fast as she could carry herself. She was swift considering her human bone structure, as though she had had prior training in regards to this form. Though this was highly extraordinary, it was not like anyone was paying attention when the State Super was duking it out within the building. Things got toasty when a blaze blew right through the front doors and caught somebody in their tracks. With a yelp Sonas would throw herself into a roll to the side to narrowly escape the deadly flames, and she would choose an alternative entrance: the window shattered earlier by the blast of wind. After entering the building, the hybrid's eyes darted toward the nearest table and launched herself at it, sending the contents of the furniture onto the floor and the customers who still hadn't left the building yet. Given that she was unmarred in her actions, Sonas would continue hopping from tabletop to tabletop, creating quite the mess as she made her way around the Super fight and towards the front counter. Orange hair billowed behind the female blur as she threw herself over the register.

Onto the head of a male on the phone she landed, knocking him to the floor in the middle of his call, which sounded actually pretty urgent. The bang on the hard floor sounded bad, enough to knock the guy out at least, while the phone bungeed helplessly around on the cord with no hand to support it. Sonas was oblivious to what she had just done by interrupting a 911 call and knocking out one of the store staff, but that was because her brain should have belonged to that of a dog and not a human. She carelessly rushed into the back of the restaurant where most of the employees worked, again choosing the route across the tabletops and scattering foodstuffs across the ground without any consideration whatsoever. Given the situation happening in the dining room, the staff was more than willing to move out of the way while Sonas flew to her destination at the back door. She hopped up at the door and managed to land both hands on the doorknob, but when she tried to turn it, she made no progress. Momentum and gravity caught up with her, and the rest of her body banged against obstacle.

With a sudden bark that sounded like it should have come out of a dog and not a girl's mouth, Sonas backed up and inhaled a large breath. She pursed her lips at the doorknob as though she were imagining it as some non-flattering guy's head, and blew. With a very loud and very high-pitched—yet very brief—screech, an invisible marble-sized sphere shot out from Sonas' mouth at speeds rivaling a bullet fired from a gun toward the locked doorknob. With a spark and a subsequent bang, the entire knob fell to the ground as it was severed from the door, and the door quickly swung open to reveal Thomas. The female teen gave a big smile and sat down on her knees like a pleased dog would, allowing her tongue to stick out from the side to pant, also much like a dog. "Good Sonas," he muttered with a small smile, before quickly rushing to the real task at hand. Toting an empty bag, he went for the food that had been cooked already, and began stuffing it into the sack.

PostSubject: Re: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 8:09 pm

Seeing the woman turn around to look outside the store, the aura would hit her head on and completely, bursting her clothes, hair, and body into flames. Flames hot enough to produce second degree burns on her body. Ms. Flash's attention was solely on the woman, and she would not deal with the weird creature jumping around the shop like a madwoman. Instead, she would take this chance flick one of the forks forward and towards the woman's gut. If she planned on still pole-vaulting out of the store it'd nail her as she was still in mid air. That's what happened when something was coming at you more than six hundred miles per hour. However, there was a chance, because of the pain from the flames, she wouldn't go flipping around. The nearest water hydrant was about half a mile down the street. And the only other source was the actual restaurant, or the restrooms of the neighboring buildings. Would she risk trying to run madly to another building with Flash right there ready to take her legs out with one move? She was attempting to avoid paralysis as the final result of this fight, but if it needed to occur she would do whatever it took for those parents to get the peace of mind that the murderer was behind bars. Even if the weird fox thing knocked the guy calling the police down, it wouldn't stop the people who were out on the street and witnessing the attack from calling the authorities on their various phones. "Stay down and submit and this won't get any worst. The police are coming now. Turn yourself in while you're still able too." She kept her distance from the woman, making sure to keep her attention. Let's be honest. What was more important? Catching a murderer of children and police, or some dog jumping around? It was obvious.

PostSubject: Re: The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open]   The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] EmptyThu Aug 16, 2012 10:20 pm

Being in the back of the burger joint, neither Thomas nor Sonas had a direct line of sight to the fight that was going on out there in the dining room, but from the orange aura emanating around the corner by bouncing off the walls was an excellent indicator to the presence of a fire or something similar. The staff, noting that the back door had been shot open, wanted to preserve their lives, and quickly sped out the restaurant where they knew it was safe. Stopping Thomas was hardly a concern to them—they didn't have powers, but they knew that at least Sonas did. This was out of their hand and they had to go; nobody wanted to be the hero. That being said, Thomas paid them no mind either, focusing at stuffing as much food as possible into the small sack, thinking not only about today's meal, but future meals as well. Sonas patiently sat near the back door while this went on, though her nose perked up at the various delectable smells.

It would hardly take a minute; Thomas noticed the lack of loud sounds out there, which was as good a cue as any to get the hell out of here. Doing a double take to make sure he was safe, he zipped up the sack and tossed it over his shoulder where it lied on his back. "Get my back, Sonas," Thomas said, as he went for the back door, sprinting now. Sonas obeyed the simple command, trailing the young boy while occasionally checking behind them. This was almost a success, and Thomas was smiling because of it. This would be worth at least a week's worth of food between the two of them. Sonas... well, who knows what was going through her mind while they fled the scene of the restaurant.

The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty

Tara side at the female who rolled upon the ground. How could someone become such a murderer in less than a week? Dashing out and around the woman, Ms. Flash would create a vortex that would suck the air from within, and suffocate the fires down to simple small crisp. She would stop once the fire was stopped to see the burned woman. Doing the run at a twenty foot distance, and now stopping and crouching down, the speedster would look at her with an expressionless face. "How could you kill those kids and that officer? What was on your mind when you did it? It wasn't called for.." Her words were bland, but seemed to have a hint of anger beneath them. "I expected more from you." The heroine would stand up, as the officers would have arrived on the scene with the paramedics. They rushed to the woman's aid, and after a few seconds of getting her air and putting her on the stretcher to put into the back of the medical vehicle, one could hear the nurse say the woman would be fine after some treatment. A sigh of relief came from Ms. Flash, as the vehicles rushed away, and a cop remained, looking at her. She looked back and scratched the back of her head nervously. Suddenly she'd snap her fingers. "Oh, this guy too!" She pointed to the robber who she had tied up earlier, and was currently trying to tip toe to his freedom. The cop would grab him and pull him back, putting him into the back of the car. Flash would watch this scene and raise a hand up nervously towards the cop. "Um officer, is there any new news about the boy who was killed on the bridge a few days ago? The one that woman had killed?" The heavy set officer looked at her with a raised brow, curious of why she wanted to know, but rubbed his rugged chin with a grunt. "Some kid from Australia. Name was Alexander Marks. His folks are flying into the city to come identify his body at the morgue. I feel sorry for them, but can't help but wonder how he got out here in the first place." The cop spit to the side and got into the cop car, driving off with his sirens on.

This left Flash behind, forgetting all about the burger thief, as her mind was currently focused on the family coming to the states to identify their son's body. Tara knew how it felt to lose family..and for some reason, she had a hidden respect for the fellow speedster. There weren't many who was blessed by the force. His life ended far earlier than it should have. With a nod to herself, she'd disappear in a blink of an eye, heading towards the morgue the parents would be visiting once they touched down. She didn't know exactly what she was going to do, but she did plan on meeting them, and helping them through their current situation.

The Girl with the Endless Stomach [Open] Empty

Emelie sat there light on fire, she didn't know what just happened or what was going on, it confused her. All she knew know she was on fire, she could feel the heat burn intensely on her skin, it hurt ever so much and the fire raged all over her skin making her feel as if she was going to melt. This overwelming feeling made her own body began to fail and move all around her hands dropped from the door frame, making a scratching sound. The flames hissed and twirled burning through anything and everything on her clothes. She had not thoughts she was in total and complete shock. Her body was starting to shut down and now she knew if she didn't act soon she'd suffer serious damage to her body. She was already on the hard white pavement, her back rubbing intensely into the cool pavement. She screamed and yelled in agony of pain, she was already making movements of what looked like rolls all along the floor. After mins of rolling and moving her skin had become a bright red, and her hair was burned and twitched at the end. The once dark black hair was now a crisp of what it was. She layed on the floor painting and crying in sheer pain, but even her tears came out as nothingness but vapor. The paramedics soon would lift her up and haul her away, she was still very much her self. her appearance hadn't changed but the fact of her being a bright red light with hair now only at her shoulder. She knew that after she was treated where she would be heading. This would send her into a deep fit of rage, but she'd bide her time for revenge.

exit, Ignore my other post. This is what I'll post instead.
