The Daily Bugle

Senator Hines has revealed how mutants will be handled: Sentinels.

A rumor traveled the circles of the supernatural. Mutants heard a safe, underground railroad was being started, inquire at the Summit. The beyond sought the strange power said to rest at the Summit of New York City. The gossip flitted amongst the rest: valuable information was to come to light when dawn broke over the Summit.

Scrolling through the planet had become an increasingly large past time for the young boy known as Kaku. Why? It was a good question, but it came paired with a reasonable answer. For the most part, Kaku travelled across the world daily courtesy of his own powers.
Today, Kaku had set his sights a little more further a field then he usually went, as his lack of languages could sometimes prove his undoing, and imitating some of the noises the inhabitants made could turn the crowds around him fairly violent, as apparently mangling the language sounded like profanity.
And apparently Italian had quite a few words devoted to proclaiming just how wrong something could be, and even when that veritable mountain of words failed, well, it turned out that it was quite possible to pull out every single other word and apparently twist it inside out to remain putrid verbal poop on your frenemies. Because everyone seemed to love and hate each other.
Maybe it was just a passionate culture.
Not really feeling it either way, Kaku had vacated the premises after taking a blow to the chin. Apparently it wasn't intentional (hopefully) but he had retaliated nonetheless, borrowing a large amount of sea water to cool the hot heads down. It had worked, by and large.

But now, he was going to go somewhere more..sedate. And the young child vanished without a trace of his presence, the only marker being the sand compressed from his weight, and the foot prints leading to his formerly prone location.
Materialising in Texas, a country known for it's....steadiness? In any case, Kaku had decided to pop into an old antique shop, that apparently had some nice history and a reputation for selling odd items. After his experience with the orb, Kaku was by no means disenchanted with the mysterious ways of the unknown.

Suddenly, a 'powerful' person walked inside of the store. The store was an antique shop. Venaru was inside of a jar, a black liquid. 'We. Smell. Power.' Venaru thought amongst itself. 'We. Want. Power.' The liquid started to stir inside of the jar. 'GIVE! US! POWER!' Venaru yelled mentally, the years of sitting on a shelf were getting to  it mentally. The boy who walked inside of the store, would be levitated 5 inches from the ground and flew towards the jar at 50 MPH. The boy would be standing face to face with the black liquid. It was swirling around, suddenly.... Something strange happened, From looking at it from above, it appeared to have a face. Then it swirled even more. "Hello, may you please open our jar? We've been trapped in here for quite some time" The symbiote spoke through mental communication to the boy who would slowly be dropped to the ground. Hitting the ground with a nice soft thud. "  We apologize for forcing you over here, but surely you must understand  our reasoning behind this."

And as the presence of Kaku pervaded the previously virgin store, he set into action a series of events that would likely have a knock on effect for the majority of his life.
His slim frame was levitated from the ground, the sheer willpower of another being coming into play here.
As he was deposited by what appeared to be some more empty space, he looked down, his face catching sight on it's warped reflection in a jar contained a liquid of some kind. There also appeared to be a plastic sealing container around it. One of those air-lock jobs that had the strength of the air pressure outside the jar. However, it appeared to be that the reflect was not that at all. But someone's face. What poor fellow had managed to get themselves liquidised? A black man as well if the pigmentation of the liquid was anything to judge by.
And according to the voice (strangely it could bypass the jar) it had been trapped within for quite some time. Taking pity on the poor fellow, Kaku snared the container as he was lowered, bending his knees slightly at the impact. Pulling off the plastic catch above the container, he then undid the sides, unleashing whatever was within, for saftey purposes, he took a few steps back as he awaited the arrival. He could be slightly explosive or impatient after all. Kaku would be if he had been trapped anywhere for a period of time.

The symbiote stirred. "We truly, Thank you..." Venaru said, while levitating himself using Telekinesis abilities. He flung himself forward on the child's face. The flying black glob flew at speeds of 50 MPH. With a force of 1500 pounds.  Entering his body through his eyes, nostrils, mouth and skin pores. Since, he was able to get in from the face, the bonding process would be sped up.  As soon as the symbiote, latched on... The effects would almost be Instanteous. He would feel stronger, faster. Only by about 200 pounds stronger and 20 Miles faster. Of course, it wasn't much now. But, he limited it to that much. Venaru was starting to become mixed in with the blood stream. The boy's eyes and nostrils would be slightly irritated from Venaru, mixing in from those parts. He was bonding — Genetically— with the boy. He started to feel it's memories who it met in life. Blah, Blah the parents. He would be about half way done bonding. He was starting to give more nutrients to the blood stream. Making them carry more and more nutrients. Essentially, making Kaku healthy forever. At the cost of having quite an appetite.

And suddenly something slamed into the forefront of his mind (and his face) like the fist of god.
With the rapid assimilation of his mental processes to the biological entity right now making it's way through his body, as much as he would have liked to scream, shout, and generally writhe in...pain? Surprisingly there was no real pain accompanying the invading presence, but then again, was that a adoption of sorts so that the host did not struggle for a prolonged period of time?
Frowning (or trying too) Kaku gradually regained his senses is small packets of control, released quanta as whatever the thing was in the jar retreated from his conscious observation.
The most alarming thing right now was the fact that there had previously been a jar of the stuff, a reasonably sized jar as well, quite large. And now there was absolutely nothing on the floor or anything.
It was perhaps this thought in particular that caused him to break out of the revive, and let out a small terrified scream, that rapidly turned into a roar of anger as he lashed out at himself, attempting to remove the thing from his body by the only non-violent way he knew:
Teleporation.
Unfortunately this was unsuccessful, and there was not a sizable portion of the shop missing from Kaku's rough vicinity. This proceeded to happen several times over as Kaku went berserk with the newest addition to their mind. That strange noting of a collective was by no means a calming experience, and after having ripped up a fair bit of earth, glass, concrete and sand, all across the globe, he settled a little way off from where he originally had been. Resting on a roof top he had seen from the window while he walking in.

"What did you do to us?" There was only a slight note of pleading in their tone, but beyond that...it was remarkably calm as the four other mental occupants in their mind were joined but what appeared to be a bubbling mass of black liquid which randomly formed faces, animal heads and a whole variety of other things.

feeling the boy goinging out of control from within his own body. Venaru silently thought about the boy`s power. The absorption process was going smoothly. Soon there would be no other inhabitants within Kakus mind besides Venaru. 'What we did? Nothing much, just added you to us. we`re gonna speed up our muscle cell growth. Pretty much just turn us into Machoman.' Venaru said throughout his mind. The black goop within Kaku`s mind started to disslove the other beings. Turning it into a blackface with a white X covering a large portion of the face. The eyes were pure white with black Xs instead of pupils.
