Asia Persquasia [Open]

So this was Asia? The speedster darted through the crowded streets of Tokyo, Japan attempting to read the sphere. Not paying attention to the streets infront of her, the golden blur would run dead center into the side of a brickwall, making an indention in the bricks as she fall back and onto her back. Laying on the ground for a few seconds, with people beginning to gather around her, she'd slowly sit up with a slightly annoyed look on her face. "I'm probably going to feel that in the morning. Or the afternoon..Or whatever time it is here." She slowly sat up, looking at the oddly dressed asians gathering around her. Apparently what she saw in those weird japanese anime show thingies were true. They did dress odd out in the middle of Tokyo. If someone wasn't wearing a suit or a dress, they were wearing something completely ridiculous. Scratching her head, Tara would pucker her bottom lip in a confused expression. "These spheres suck as a GPS. Where the heck am I supposed to be going? Maybe if I get to higher ground, I'll get a better signal." Miss Flash nodded to herself, giving abit of extra confidence, as she ran towards the building and took off up the side of the wall. In a few seconds, she'd found herself on the rooftop, holding a blue sphere up towards the sky attempting to get a good signal. The feint blue glow would illuminate through the night time sky, bright enough to catch attention.

Seems like he had been here a before. Really he had, just an extremely long time ago. It was interesting to see how places looked entirely different as time passed by. Thantos, tended to just drift around the world every now and then. Seemingly, managing to have a famine or war, or some other event that caused death and suffering follow close behind him. It was one of those nights where he just found himself spacing off int he middle of the street. Seeing as he really didn't have any place to live and was too much of a bum to get a job that is generally what he did. Was interesting to study a person every now and then. Take a guess at what would cause them to expire from this world. Hell maybe every now and then he would intervene and speed up the process a bit. Just when he felt like somebody had managed to sneak past on lasting longer than they should have. Suddenly at some point there seemed to be some form of commotion nearby. It drew in Thantos a little bit, but he really didn't bother too much. Eventually however through the lights in the night sky, one especially caught Thanto's attention. It was, somewhat different than the rest. In fact it was nearby what caused the large commotion later. Honestly, what else was there to do at the moment? So Thantos figured he'd investigate using a construct to take him to the rooftop that the light was coming from. Looking around he found some woman dressed just flat out awkward. Holding her hand up in the air causing the blue light to shine into the night. Thantos honestly fixated on her first seeing as she was the source of his interest. However you could almost say he was entirely rude, as he began to use a construct made as a hand to reach for the orb. Intruding her focus to reach for it foolishly.

As the girl studied the orb, she'd scrunch her nose while slowly lowering it to look up towards the nighttime sky. There were times when she asked herself if it was worth all the irritation playing the hero role. Especially when most of the world didn't like super human to begin with. She wasn't even a mutant, technically. Though after that recent excursion where the cops turned on her, when she tried to help people out in another city than your own, things got awkward. She wondered if anyone else had to deal with the authorities thinking people were masks weren't just trying to help, but felt they were above the law. During these thoughts, a hand would take the glowing orb from her own, causing her to turn suddenly and grab the orb in its palm. Pulling it back, her eyes would narrow at the weird looking guy riding on what appeared to be some sort of construct. "Who are you, a sphere hunter? If that's the case, you're not taking this one without a fight..weird looking kid guy." That insult sounded much better in her head..

When Thantos reached out for the blue sphere the person reacted. For the first time the two acknowledged each others presence. As what would be expected from somebody who just had a strange person reach out for their possessions they snapped their hand back. Refusing to allow him to get a hand on it if he wanted too. A weird person huh? Well he was in fact floating on one of his constructs. Something that he really shouldn't be doing out in the open like that. Who knows what kind of uproar it would cause. Thantos had heard about super humans showing up all over the place. Upon being called weird all he could really do was survey her. A puzzled look coming over his face just before he began to laugh a little bit. He was the weird one, yet here she was holding her hand up the sky like she was pleading to the gods. Thantos could only shake his head at her comment. "If anything your the one that looks out of place...not to mention speaking english." Something that was awkward when you considered the fact that they were sitting smack dab in the middle of japan. Now he was confused as to why she was there in the first place. "If your trying to offer that to the God's the-" Before he completed his sentence two strange blue lights begun to shine. First the girl was red then for a split second he was blue. Thantos just gazed at his body being bathed in light. He really couldn't explain what happened next, but he found himself standing far away from where he was previously. Looking around, at people who seemed to be completely shocked. Then one by one they all began to fall. Their souls being ripped from their bodies and flowing into Thantos. One by one a soul found it's way into his body and with each one he felt his head become even more painful. He couldn't explain it, it was like being back in hell. Unfathomable pain stemming from his skull that just wouldn't go away. The screams of the freshly damned filling his head, and refusing to go completely away. What was happening, had he somehow lost control of his own ability? After all this time that seemed incredibly unlikely. Trying to stand up for a second Thantos fell right back to the ground. The several people unfortunate enough to be near him at the time of his loss in control still dying. The souls still cramming their way into his body, making every cell in his head hurt. Their screams like nails on a chalkboard that just wouldn't end. "STOP, SHUT UP!" The cry of Death's incarnate fell on deaf ears, as they continued to moan and panic within his head. It felt like an eternity was passing by, one that just would not end despite what he wished. Then, it quickly began to subside, the pain was no longer as prevalent. He began to breathe heavily as the pounding pain began to go away. Looking up for the first time in what felt like a countless amount of days he discovered the destruction. The dead lying around him, the massive crater before him. It really wasn't hard to tell which ones he had killed, no marks on their bodies no injuries, just dead. The life itself reaped from their bodies. To say it bothered him as a whole would be a complete lie, though it was one of the larger extinctions of humanity he had just presided over, unintentionally at that. The woman from before, this all started when the light she was holding moved to him. Where did she get it, what was her purpose of being here. Now as he worked his way onto his feat, Thantos had to search for the girl. Maybe the crater was a good place to start.
