Senator Hines has revealed how mutants will be handled: Sentinels.
A rumor traveled the circles of the supernatural. Mutants heard a safe, underground railroad was being started, inquire at the Summit. The beyond sought the strange power said to rest at the Summit of New York City. The gossip flitted amongst the rest: valuable information was to come to light when dawn broke over the Summit.

| The group of thirty five men would enter in to the Senator building and in a very efficient and professional manner they would round up the three hundred senators, executing the guards before they even knew what hit them, organized by the communication they had via ear pieces. It happened without much commotion at first, the gunmen using suppressors so that the fire would not be heard but it was hard to quiet that many people with only thirty five gunmen and sure enough one of them would manage to get out a distress call before everything settled down. Of course the terrorists would take over the three hundred because it was rather simple to be quiet when one was being coerced at gunpoint. The thirty five would start by forcing the three hundred to drop their cellular devices and anything with access to the internet. There were a few brave souls that would retain the use of their phones, but for the most part the group was emptied. Next the terrorists would single out those of greatest importance, a group of about twenty men and women who would be escorted by five terrorists to a central room that lacked windows and was large enough to accompany them comfortably. The five would face the hostages backs to the door with a five foot space between their backs and the door and would proceed to bind the twenty hostage's hands and feet, paring them up in to groups of two, leaving ten groups of two.
Each group was forced to face one another, their noses almost touching. The door was rigged to explode, the terrorists using a pressure trigger so that if it was opened the door would explode killing everyone inside. The terrorists were also aware of the vents in the room and would keep an eye on them. The thirty terrorists that remained in the front entrance receiving lounge would force the remaining two hundred and eighty to lay prostrate upon the ground, their hands above their heads. Then ten terrorists would leave, checking the entire building and rigging various entrances with pressurized explosives so that if a entrance was opened it would explode while the five of the twenty that remained in the area would spread out on the catwalk and would aim their guns down at those that laid out on the floor while the fifteen would patrol the group that laid out on the floor, three of the terrorists selecting three hostages and then proceeding to move to move to various windowless rooms and hold them at knife point, doing all kinds of things to them all the while. These men were all brought together by one factor, and that was money. It was what they wanted, and now that they had the hostages they needed they would call the governor of California and tell them of the situation, demanding a ridiculous sum of money ranging in the hundred millions and in the process stating that every hour that their demands are not met that they will kill off a hostage for all to see on the roof of the building or more depending on how they felt, knowing that if they shot the terrorist executing the hostage that the group would kill more as an example.

| On his usual day off Kon-El was hanging out in his San Jose mansion where he normally spent his freetime between movies and heroic acts.. But not today. As his cellphone started to ring Kon-El picked it up and just breathed into the phone "Well hello Superboy we got some news for ya.. Senators building is in some trouble think you can get there soon?" Kon-El facepalmed because he was actually enjoying his day off before putting the phone back to his face and replying "Okay mayor.. I'm on my way" with that Kon-El hung up the phone. He jumped up from the sun and his sunglasses and flew into the sky sporting nothing but swimming trunks and slippers.. Damn he hated having to be a hero.. Anyway as he was flying he pressed his power ring and his outfit came flying out. Moving at his maximum speed Kon-El would put the suit on in less than a minute while flying to the senate building. As he arrived he zoomed past the building missing it by accident but quickly backtracked landing on top of the very tall building.. 145 floors to be exact. Wait.. Kon-El is an actor.. In one movie he was in the doors were rigged with explosives and Kon-El couldn't risk taking that chance this time around.. He would quickly fall off the top of the building and use his flying ability around impact causing his landing to look gracefully. Upon landing there were cops stationed all around and they were ready.. The chief in charge was Pat G. Barry. Kon-El would speak to him "What you got for me Pat?" with that Pat opened up a piece of paper which appeared to be blueprints. He then started speaking "Okay Superboy we got swat members here, here and all over here.. We aren't dumb with this one. These guys seem to be good we have eyes in every room and all the rooms seemed to be set to explode... Except one room in the basement that they seemed to forget. You get in that basement and work your way up the staircase. In the left wingroom you can easily get in if you trigger the explosion and kill that 1 guard watching it. My men are moving out as we speak we only needed eyes for seconds for you to arrive.. Once you are in you have to move quick I want no more than 0 casualties think you can do that for me Superboy?" Kon-El smiled before replying "Okay Patty.. I got this" Patty gave Kon-El the look before replying "Kid im trusting you on this one don't let me down" With that Kon-el started hovering before instantly punching his way into the ground with one punch.. now under the building he quickly flew through the floor and remembered from the blue prints exactly where he needed to be.. There he was the center room.. Kon-El started spinning very fast as he turned into a tornado to fly through the floor once there he noticed 5 criminals and 5 hostages.. These guys weren't crazy but they weren't smart either. Kon-El would give them anytime to turn around before releasing a wave of wind from his mouth which would cause the 5 men to fly into the wall knocking them out buy for the 5 people who were held hostage they just slid into the knocked out men where they laid frantically. Those walls they were marble ouch. No chance to scream allowed the other men to think they were just infront of a fan or something from the sound of wind. As for the next room where Kon-El knew everyone was at he did the one thing he could.. He flew right through the wall where he just tackled the first guy he saw whom was only armed with a gun. Once he grabbed the man by the hand he held the knife with Kon-El let out a large body of wind aiming at the 20 guys just standing around looking doofy. | |

| Flash listened in on the details as she sat on the hood of one of the various cop cars. She was no stranger to bombs, and with her accelerated probability she'd be able to pinpoint the doors she couldn't go through, before even attempting to go through them. It was the benefit of being her, after all. Watching the Boy of Steel punch into the ground and head off to do his thing, she'd press herself off the car and dust herself off. "I didn't know the kids were invited out to play today. How fancy!" How fancy indeed. Instead of following him in, the girl would get her own debriefing from the officer. Thanks to the security cameras they had access too, there were a few things that could go down from this situation. She could go in and make sure the boy didn't screw up on his end, or do her own thing and go for the majority of the hostages. She never was the type to work with others, so that would be her choice. Patting the officer on the back, the masked woman would give a smile. "Thanks for the intel. Get your people ready to move..I'll give you a clear signal when to 'GO JOE' on these guys." Giving a two fingered salute, the speedster was gone in a blink of an eye, leaving a strong gust of wind in her wake. Making a pathway using her energy constructs, she'd run on them like any other road. The main difference was this construct stretched up and curved towards the building at a specific angle. Running 600mph, the girl would shoot up the pathway in complete control and dash towards the walls using her speedster aura combined with her infinite mass strike. Being on the blindside of the building where those who were inside wouldn't be able to see her coming, the speedster knew what she had to do. Meanwhile within the building, the criminals would be patrolling the catwalk like said. Suddenly a blur would shoot through the wall on the opposite side of the catwalk and dash through the men/women/wtv they are in a blink of an eye, attempting to send them flying into a wall at dangerous speeds that would not only knock them out, but break various bones on impact. Having the element of surprise, seeing how they were so focused on the hostages below, it would take super human reflexes and speed to move out the way fast enough. The golden blur continued her momentum and dashed down to the floor below, using the wall. Her eyes were forever moving to the situation, as her hyper active brain registered everything flawlessly. And with her accelerated probability, she'd be able to see which of the criminals would fire first on the hostages (before they actually did), or herself, and take them out first. And like so, she did what she said and zipped through the armed men, using her speed, enhanced perception, and the mass that came with it, to knock each and every one of them into the far wall hard enough to leave small dents and craters. Not to mention broken bones and severe head trauma if successful. All this occurred during the Superboy's own plight in the basement of the building, fighting the five others. Moving to the wall leading outside, she'd use her infinite mass strike to punch through it completely. The Swat team would come into the main lobby from the hole and begin to handle the situation, getting the hostages and keeping the criminals at gun point. However..she knew there were more in the building somewhere. Not stopping to chat, the girl would jog over to the head police chief. "I need an update pronto! Where are they keeping the remaining hostages? I'm going to go into overdrive to get them!" Ms. Flash talked fast, and the woman began to brief her on the last locations they kept the hostages. Turning off her back heel, the speedster would be off in a blur again. This time going into hyper drive and blowing back the officers around her from a small sonic boom. Moving 1000mph within the building was tricky, but it was still under half her top speed, giving her control to turn on the dime and move through the building, heading to the closest room one of the hostages was being held in. Luckily that very room was just a floor above, and in the break room where the employees went for their own time. It was extremely sound proof from the outside working world, simply because it was a break room for a reason and people deserved their time away from all distractions of work. Instead of wasting time using doors, the speedster would become the battering ram she was..and use her special talents to cut down the time it would take to get to the man/woman/etc. - Abilities:
Name: Pit Stop Rank: C Power: Super Speed Description: The user is so experienced with their speed that they can stop on a dime without much effort. However, if the user is running more than half their total speed, they will not be able to stop without atleast skidding. Anything below, they can stop right then and there, and on the dime.
Name: Accelerated Probability Rank: C Power: Accelerated Probability Description: When focusing [eye sight] on a single object/projectile from an opponent, Ms. Flash can predict the path they will take precisely, allowing her to dodge with ease. The outcomes she sees only goes up to five seconds, giving her a brief look on the trajectory of the object before it is unleashed, allowing her to perform a flawless dodge. Once finding the best point of action to take, she can utilize her super speed to follow through for the best results in a dodge or counter attack. This does not read the opponent themselves, but does read anything they may be using as a projectile or extension of themselves [such as a pole or blade]. This means punches and kicks, and frontal normal hand to hand based attacks will not be predicted and the user will have to rely on their own abilities to deal with them. An Example - Seeing the trajectory of a bullet before it reaches its target. This works on one object/projectile at a time.
—Name: Mad Dash v.1 —Specialty: Physical Prowess —Rank: C —Description: Gives the user a 10% boost to current base speed.
—Name: Light Step —Specialty: Hunter —Rank: D —Description: Tara has the ability to sneak up on people using her ability. This can give her the element of surprise when dealing with multiple opponents. This doesn't help in actual combat if she's already been pinpointed.
—Name: Dash Master —Specialty: Physical Prowess —Rank: C —Description: The user is in tune with speed and can therefore deal with other fast objects/people that are atleast 10% above her current speed level or below with ease.
Name: Superhuman Speed Rank: B+ Power: Super Speed Description:These characters immediately understand how to run at superhuman speeds and their bodies instinctively understand how to react at high-speed situations. An amateur speedster can move at 70 mph which is below sonic booms allowing them to react to situations without causing civilians undo stress. A lesser application of super-speed is also entitled within this, giving the ability to move individual parts of their body at their maximum rate of speed, independent from that of the rest of their body. When in motion, the user appears to be a blur. C - 70mph B - 250mph A - 500mph S - 700mph
Name: Increased Perception Rank: C Power: Super Speed Description: Tara possesses the ability to alter her perceptions so that falling objects can appear to be standing still and can be caught and moved back to their normal position. She can do this so quickly as to have it happen invisibly to the normal human eye. She can strike a single opponent multiple times in a second or multiple opponents two or three times in a second. She can disarm or jam any number of opponents weapons before they are even aware of her movement [if she sneaks up on them] and can hurl small projectiles at speeds that match her own.
Name: Supercharged Brain Activity Rank: C Power: Super Speed Description: Tara's mental abilities are also increased in speed, simple computations can be done at lightning speeds, and her ability to perform normal feats at increased speeds has allowed her to move sandbags to cover a beach or search an entire area for something as small as a paper clip. Tara can also read at super-speed, but rarely takes advantage of this ability to learn at increased speeds. Those attempting to read her mind will have a difficult time, as the thoughts and memories run through it at overdrive. This does not mean she is immune. If her rank is the same as the Telepath, it will take an extra minute [post] to sort through the chaos in her brain and effect it. If her rank is below the Telepath, it'll be no problem to read it and effect it. If it is above the Telepath's it could take up to two minutes [posts] to get clear information and effect it. For each rank above the Telepath, the more minutes [posts]. Add one minute [post] with each letter rank above.
Name: Superhuman Endurance Rank: C Power: Super Speed Description:This character can keep up physical movement without taking a break, allowing them to keep running at a prolonged time without needing to take a break or catch a second wind. She can keep running at full speed for 30 minutes straight without having to stop for a second, nor lose her focus and concentration.
ame: Infinite Mass Strike Rank: B+ Power: Super Speed Description: By traveling at great speeds, the user can acquire the relativistic mass of such speed to land blows which can hit with tremendous force. Depending on the max speed the user is running will determine just how strong this attack will become. When dealing with obstacles, the user can use this ability to rip through brick [steel at atleast B rank] and other forms of durable matter.
Name: Speedster Aura Rank: B+ Power: Super Speed Description: People who are propelled by high speed can survive the harsh conditions associated with mach speeds. If say a user must rescue an individual from a burning building these individuals will be protected while within an aura. Tara's aura is specifically an orange light and protects her from friction and small debris [small rocks - objects] at C rank. Allows her to strike durable forms of matter such as brick walls and steel at B rank without breaking bones. Allows her to appear like a speeding bullet at A rank, and shred through anything that is concussive [sharp piercing objects and attacks will pierce the aura. Only durable forms of matter such as walls and people will be tore through], tearing through it with pure speed. Those she carries while running can also be surrounded in this aura if she wills it.
Name: Durability Rank: C Power: Super Speed Description: Having super speed involves the user having a super toned body. Tara is abnormally more durable than the next guy. At C rank, physical blunt damage is less effective. She can be sent through brick walls, knocked in the head with blunt objects, etc, and will not break bones. However, she will still have bruises and bleeding. Her body is just tone enough to absorb most of the damage if there is any.
Name: Speed Force Energy Constructs Rank: C Power: Speed Conduit Description: Tara can create pure gold energy constructs that can take any shape, as long as its human sized [6 feet long/wide] These constructs are intangible at C rank, but become tangible when Tara makes physical contact with them. They are only tangible for her and no one else. She can use these constructs to make pathways to run on, or simple energy forms of maps, people, etc. that can't be interacted with by anyone else, but can be used for visuals. These constructs can only be formed 15 meters from her body.

| As Kon-El landed and began to speak with the police chief he would not notice that one of the terrorists had witnessed his descent from the roof of the building. This was possible because the senator building itself had many windows, and with ten men patrolling around the building it wouldn't be unlikely for one to glance out of a window at the exact moment he landed; just like it was as likely that one would know of explosives rigged to the doors without any prior knowledge. With the terrorist having seen Kon-El he would radio in to his allies, telling them the disturbing news that a man with strange abilities had arrived on the scene and was apparently collaborating with the police force. With the news of men with super abilities on the way one of the terrorists would begin to lose his cool, never having signed up for dealing with the supernatural he began to freak out. This lone terrorist happened to be within the room that the twenty hostages were in. Then a a series of large noises would occur from beneath them, causing the man's nerves to collapse as he understood that something he could not control was coming to get him. His paranoia got the better of him and he would start shooting the hostages, knowing that these people were what the supers were after. In the process the terrorist would kill two people as the rest of the hostages flung themselves to the ground the terrorists would attempt to stop their comrade, knowing that the hostages were their key to survive this situation. In the process two of the terrorists would be shot while one would manage to wrestle his comrade to the ground. At that instant the boy known as Kon-El would blast his way through the room without care of the hostages that were in there with him.
Some of the debris from the boy entering through the floor would fly out and smack a hostage, taking his breath away the man would stumble backwards towards the door, falling back at an angle at the same time. The other man tied to this man would collapse due to the weight of his fellow and they would both smash in to the door with their combined weight, causing the explosive device at the door to detonate, killing every normal person within. This would occur just as Kon-El turned to deal with the terrorists. As this happened the leader of the terrorists would notice his men on the catwalk being taken care of by some unknown force and knew that the mission was already over. The loud noise of the woman running would shock the hostages, causing them to scream. A bullet or two that a man on the catwalk managed to fire would occur as they would be flung around like toys. It wasn't rational, but then again most terrorists weren't rational and so he would send word to the three men he had hidden throughout the building to kill the hostages that they had taken at knife point, knowing that this mission was over. Those men would receive the orders and would kill the hostages by slitting their throats. Then the leader of the terrorists would order the rest of his men to fire upon the hostages prostate upon the ground, probably killing a few before being knocked in to the wall like rag dolls just as the Swat entered, some of the remaining terrorists taking bullets or some swat members taking bullets. It was pure chaos.
There was no way, despite how fast this entity was that at least one person would not die during the massive spray of bullets. The leader of the terrorists knew that they were finished, after all what could they do against such odds? Perhaps if it was just humans then they would have fared better, but these people were not human, they were the real monsters and as he though that he himself would go flying in to the wall. While this occurred the remaining thirteen men that had been away from the chaos on would hear and would exit the senator building via a back entrance, meeting the cops head on they would fire upon them with their rifles, more afraid of what was inside than out. In the attack cops and terrorist alike were shot and killed, but in the end the weaker terrorist force would be destroyed.

| OoC: I usual never RP like this, but for the criminals to just kill all bargaining chips and not keep some alive to try and get out of there..Well, yea. Also was told to go before Kon by Kon himself
Apparently the man didn't understand just how fast 600mph was. Yea, he got his first orders out to kill the hostages in the various rooms, but he wouldn't have the time to order his men to shoot the hostages after. Nor would his men have the time to register his orders if he even said them either. An underestimation of speed would be his downfall, and with her accelerated probability, she would have claimed him first, with his men/women right behind, before a shot was fired on the prostate hostages, knocking them all against the walls like meat puppets. She didn't care that their bodies were practically shattered from the impact, or that their guns were forced to the empty wall where they wouldn't be able to misfire on the innocent people. Everything would still go according to plan, and the swat would enter the room from the hole she created. Securing the hostages and the criminals, a hostage would yell about the man giving an order to kill the other hostages. Ms. Flash turned to the Chief fast. She didn't need to say a word for the chief to tell her the rooms the hostages were being held in. Luckily two of those "various" rooms were lined up to each other horizontally from the stairs. Ms. Flash would move on the double through the building, causing ears to pop from the sudden sonic boom, and the ground and stair way to rip behind her from the sheer speed. Meanwhile the criminals attempted to leave through the back ENTRANCE. One of the VARIOUS entrances they placed a bomb at. In their panic, they must have forgot. And as they opened the door, they would be dealt with by their own explosion, being killed instantly. The explosion was strong enough to take down a wall that held three of the hostages, and one of the criminals. He successfully slitted one of the hostages neck, but as he went for the other two, a large section of the debris shot from the wall, feeling his body with various marble pieces that would feel like he was just hit by a shotgun. Since he was standing over the hostages, he took the brunt of the explosion, and was sent hard into the wall where his head would be smash into the wall. The hostages themselves would be unharmed by sheer luck, or stupidity. More burdens out of the way, and Flash didn't need to lift a finger. Luckily the cops were also far enough back not to be caught in the explosion.
Meanwhile, Flash had used her energy constructs to position herself in alignment to the rooms the hostages were being held in. She knew she couldn't play it safe any more. Activating her true speed, she shot straight at 1000mph, bursting through the entirety of the walls, making sure to avoid the major support beams so the ceiling didn't come down on the innocent people still in the building. Seeing how the hostages in the room with the men weren't tied up [never said they were] they could feel the commotion through the building and figured this was their chance to strike. One man in one room was a 6ft tank, and as the first hostage had the blade to their neck, being sliced, he launched himself onto the man's back, pinning his arms down and away, with the blade facing outwards. The other hostage in the room would fall and bite the arm holding the knife, attempting to get him to drop it and making sure to hold his arm so he couldn't bring it back to stab into his face. In the other remaining room, one hostage was killed and the other one was next. The woman panicked, and with the explosion going off and the walls being torn through, the room shook and allowed her to fall out of the way as the man came towards her with his knife. In a blink of an eye, the wall would be broken through, and a gold light would hit the criminal from behind, sending him hard into the wall and causing him to smash into it so hard, his bones began to protrude out of his body in weird angles. He was on the verge of death...Ms. Flash showed no mercy for monsters, and the debris and impact would give slight injury to the remaining alive hostages, but wouldn't kill them. Instead they got up and ran through the hole in the wall and out of dodge completely. In the last room with the criminal, the larger 6ft man would fall to the side, sending the 5'4 criminal into the wall, attempting to protect the remaining hostage who was alive. As this happened, the golden blur burst through the wall behind the criminal, sending him flying forward and through a wall himself. A few debris hit the hostages, but nothing that would leave any serious injury. Ms. Flash herself had stopped on a dime, standing slightly infront of them. The hostages were frozen in place, as her eyes studied the room completely. "Run on the path I made. Don't use any of the doors."

| OOC:Not up for this mission anymore soo... Brief exit
Kon-El wasn't one to deal with stress well... He was getting angry and he was getting angry quick. In order for him to not kill anyone and make sure everyone was fine he would remove himself from this mission for the better of everyone else.. With that said Kon-El would fly right back into his hole and leave the mission out of view of the police..

| OoC: 48 hours and this is holding me up.
The plan went through and the hostages were not only secured, but the criminals apprehended by the swat officers. Keeping her arms crossed, Flash watched the criminals get cuffed, while others were put in various ambulances. Looking towards the police chief, the speedster narrowed her eyes. "They were pretty organized for a group of armed thugs. I'm wondering if they were hired by anyone, or chose to take this operation themselves." Ms. Flash spoke with a quizzical expression on her face, as the chief shrugged her shoulders. "We'll just need to keep an eye on things abit more. Hostage situations like this should never happen. You did good in there, kid." Kid? Psh, this caused Tara to sigh. "I'm not a kid...but thanks. Anyway, if you need my help I'll be there in a flash. You find anything new about this little organization, let me know. If we work together, we should bust them easy." Flash gave a final nod before dashing through the hole created in a blink of an eye, and leaving the scene. The bomb squad was already inside to disarm the rest of the bombs at the entrances.
