Senator Hines has revealed how mutants will be handled: Sentinels.
A rumor traveled the circles of the supernatural. Mutants heard a safe, underground railroad was being started, inquire at the Summit. The beyond sought the strange power said to rest at the Summit of New York City. The gossip flitted amongst the rest: valuable information was to come to light when dawn broke over the Summit.
Born on the islands, Claire has an innocent face, tan skin, and odd hairstyle when compared to others. Even her fashion sense can be seen as warped, as she wears bright colors that sometimes clash with one another. Her smile is always bubbly, and the aura coming from her is always friendly and inviting. She stands to the height of 4'11 being very small, and has a very lean build. Her eyes are an ocean blue, and her hair is a burnt blond color with various beads that line it for decoration. On her left hip is a strange growth that comes from her mutant gene. Appearing to be a sash made of white feathers, she has a small angel wing that folds and stretches down to her left knee before folding back up. People see this as a decoration, but it is actually a part of her body. The wing has nothing to do with her actual ability of flight, but she did get a nickname because of it.
Personality: Claire is very kind and bubbly, even if she is so far away from home. She's friendly to even those who find her annoying, and won't hold grudges against many. Under this disguise, she's just another scared girl, afraid that her mutation will make her look like a freak in society. She's scared to go home because of her mutation, and even lied to her parents tricking them into sending her to the school cause her grades were well off. Only her sister knows of her mutation, and she promised to not tell a soul. Once she joined the institution, she met others like herself, which made her open herself up abit more. Those who have a physical mutation that can be seen are like kindred spirits to her. Being a girl who can't hide hers, it makes it really hard to be out in public, and when she is, she's very nervous but covers that with her bubbly personality. Though she does enjoy flight, she's ready for a cure to her disease..She thinks the mutation is something bad, which the professor is currently trying to prove to her that it's natural and she shouldn't be ashamed of herself. When it comes to combat, she's not experienced at all. Her fighting style is on instinct alone, and she will feel fear if she feels like her opponent is too strong for her to beat.

This allows them to see the world slower than it really is, as they accelerate upon their flight path flawlessly. The Background
History:
Born and raised in heaven on Earth. The Bermuda Islands were a beautiful place, and all who lived there was like a large family. Even Angel found herself loving her life. She went to school, but in her free time she worked with her father to help pay the bills for the family. He was a hunter, specializing in hunting birds and fishing. Angel and her sister were tomboys at heart, and enjoyed working with their father. The extra meat and prey they brought in was cooked by their mother, and life was simple and great. All great things usually came to an end, and it did when Angel began to notice a growth on her left leg. At first she wrote it off as a bump, but as time went on, the bump grew and began to take shape and structure. Feathers began to grow on the protrusion, and in fear she told her sister of what was happening. Neither of them knew what it meant, but they made a promise to tell no other and write it off as an accessory. By the time it was her 16th birthday, the wing was fully grown, and hiding it was becoming almost impossible. The morning of, she over heard her parents speaking of the mutant dilemma occurring around the globe, and how they were freaks among man. Being a freak herself, it scared Angel..If her parents ever found out about what she was, she would be labeled a freak and possibly disowned aswell.
As the months passed, Angel found herself emotionally distraught, and with this, her powers began to blossom day by day. From walking home to school, she'd find herself randomly hovering above ground before suddenly falling. Waking up for school, she'd be laying on her ceiling and not on her bed. It was the little things, but it was still beginning to plague her mind slowly. When she thought all hope was lost, she met a man. A man who understood what she was going through and offered a solution. A solution for her problems and how to control the mutation. Of course with no one to turn to, she listened to the man. Even went as far as to trick her parents into sending her to the institution he ran for people like herself. Only telling her sister where she was really going, Angel would be off to try and find what was happening to her. Scared that she couldn't reverse the curse that she felt she currently shouldered.
