The Daily Bugle

Senator Hines has revealed how mutants will be handled: Sentinels.

A rumor traveled the circles of the supernatural. Mutants heard a safe, underground railroad was being started, inquire at the Summit. The beyond sought the strange power said to rest at the Summit of New York City. The gossip flitted amongst the rest: valuable information was to come to light when dawn broke over the Summit.

The Dullahan (done) Empty
PostSubject: The Dullahan (done)   The Dullahan (done) EmptyWed Jul 18, 2012 10:47 am

Natalie Amsel
......

The Biography

Birth Name: Natalie Amsel
Aliases: The Dullahan
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Birth Date: 26th March
Class: Human

Appearance:
Dullahan appears always to the public as a helmeted figure with a biker's jacket. As a result, her hair and eye colour are indistiguishable, and justified by that. So, let's focus on the helmet instead. Dullahan wears a yellow full-face off-road Arai motorcycle helmet with a one-way visor. The entire thing encompasses her head, hiding all her features. The helmet has the words "HEADLESS" inked in stylized font on the left side. Due to her lack of a head, so to speak, she is given said name of Dullahan.
Dullahan's 'uniform' seems to be a black leather biker's jacket, a Schott Perfecto 118, to be exact, with the upper one-third unzipped and the cuffs hanging out, like how it's supposed to be worn. Underneath the jacket is a black, thin, cotton turtleneck, hiding the rest of her skin. The jacket is made for slim-fit, and hugs her body, accentuating her rather slight curves. Her empaulets on her shoulders have the insignia of the head of a eagle stitched onto it. Dullahan also wears a pair of dark-coloured slacks or jeans. They have no special markings whatsoever, though they are usually black or close to black in colour.
According to records, she has short brown hair, though her fringe reaches over and hides her eye. It is often in a rather wild state and barely reaches past the mid-length of her neck. It is well-conditioned and soft, and rather easily wind-swept. Her eyes are of a soft earthy brown, and have shadows under them, due to lack of sleep. Her lips are quite thin, and rather pale, due to her over-worked state. She doesn't seem to suffer from any sort of exhaustion, though. Her body is lean, but muscular, much thanks to her Myostatic-related Muscle Hypertrophy (so much wiki), which exchanges the body's fat with an abnormal (but rather useful) amount of muscle cells, giving her a justified high amount of physical strength.
Her height is 179 cm, and is at 57 kg.
Personality:
Dullahan has been known for her extreme style when taking down targets. Unlike most "heroes" and such, she prefers a good, messy kill, rather than apprehension, such as burying a No Entry sign's edge into the skull. Fun times. As a result, she seems to be more of a mercenary working for the 'good' side more than anything else. However, she can still make a face-heel turn and knock in the heads of those on the side of justice, probably just for the heck of it.
She gets off on some sort of high in combat, and is an adrenaline-junkie of sorts, choosing to prolong a fight if the opponent is good enough, just to enjoy herself. It's not apparent due to her silent composure, but there you have it. Those who can't put up a decent fight, however, will be dismissed with a healthy dosage of torque wrench.
Dullahan keeps to herself mostly. By 'mostly', it means, 'All the time'. She never speaks, she never flips open that visor. Heck, if records didn't show that she had a living breathing head still attached to her neck, she'd long be classified as a real Dullahan. And dead. She is still able to show proper responses, though, such as shrugging, shaking her head and making gestures. It's surprising how she can still be sarcastic even without saying anything.

The Capability

Rank: C

Specialties:

    Main Specialty: Physical Strength
    Sub Specialty: Techno savvy
    Sub Specialty: Hunter

Skills:

    Name: Sub-human strength
    Specialty: Physical prowess
    Rank: C
Description: Due to her myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy (you can even smell the fingerprints of Wikipedia on that term), she possesses extra muscle strength, and is able to perform near-superhuman feats, such as twisting a sign post off its leg and lifting someone twice as heavy as her. Just nothing much compared to Superman's exploits or anything that extreme. At a C-level, she is only given a 10% boost in combat, and is very limited in strength as compared to her peers. Still pretty scary though, with her choice of weapons.

    Name: Stealth
    Specialty: Hunter
    Rank: D
Description: She is capable of stealthy appearances, and is joked to have teleportation. She doesn't. Similarly to how Batman just pops up anywhere as soon as the panel shifts out of focus, Dullahan can pretty much do the same thing. It's usually for the heck of it and for comedic relief more than anything else. Her ability is only limited to cameras, naked eyes, and sight-based. She is able to break in through orange-level security, but most of the time, she chooses to kick open the gates and announce her presence by setting off the alarm anyway.

    Name: Tracker
    Specialty: Hunter
    Rank: D
Description: Amsel is able to hunt down targets simply from the traces they leave behind. Smell, blood, clues, she's got it all. Even in an urbanized area, she can easily find her way to her target. She is still able to be deterred by minor things as psychic meddling, hiding of trails or, obviously, lack of a trail.

    Name: Tank
    Specialty: Physical prowess
    Rank: C
Description: She can take bullets, slashes and bludgeons without flinching. Maybe she does flinch, just that no one sees that under the helmet. Whatever the case, she plows through normal human mooks and average damage like they're nothing. She's still susceptible to overkill, ludicrously high damage, or having, say, a tank hurled at her face. She's still human, just a bit hardy. She can go down when injured on vital areas, such as joints.

    Name: Hacker
    Specialty: Techno savvy
    Rank: D
Description: While being a wrecking ball of a human, she is experienced in entering the network of others through IP address herself and into encryptions and has taken control over a few computer systems herself for the heck of it. It was fun watching people panic, when she opened their Google and typed in "You're going to die". She is unable to enter high-security systems, though, and is only able to crack low-leveled firewalls.

    Name: Animal Pacification
    Specialty: Hunter
    Rank: D
Description: Amsel, having worked in rather random odd jobs before to earn up enough money for her new motorcycle, has picked up how to subdue animals, including larger cats (Who the heck keeps a tiger?!) and bears (the world is insane.).

Weapons/Devices:

    Name: Yamaha
Appearance: A worn-out click type torque wrench, rusted with use. It has several dents all over the place. It's still good for a lot more bashing in of skulls. Has a Yamaha sign on one side, hence the name.
    Rank: D
Description: A shorter counterpart to its partner, a sign post, it is meant for a shorter range and bludgeoning rather than cleaving. It still packs a bit of a punch, and Amsel doesn't seem to be pulling any punches when she strikes with it.
Origin: She lost the wrench for a year or so, and had to buy a new one to tweak her motorcycle. She located it behind her work-bench when she was cleaning her house. Since she already had a new one, why not use this one to crack some skulls? Reduce, reuse, recycle.

    Name: No Entry
Appearance: A steel pole with a circular No Entry sign, broken 3/4 of the length of its pole, and has a really sharp, pointy end where it was apparently wrenched away from wherever it came from.
    Rank: D
Description: Similar to its smaller counterpart, the tire iron, it has no special abilities, and serves only to be of more violent use, possessing a higher chance of cleaving skulls rather than bashing them in. That pointy end sure looks like it can stab quite well too.
Origin: Originally an innocent No Entry sign standing outside a restricted area of a HVT of the crime industry, Dullahan wrenched it off and hurled it into a guard, whereby the sign embedded itself in his head. Dullahan removed the sign from his skull and went on to wreck the entire building with it. It was hilarious.

The Background

History:
Thus begins Natalie Amsel's horribly summarized history. Born in Zurich, Germany, the girl carried her father's MSTN genes, resulting in her abnormal muscle mass. It wasn't surprising that, by the age of 5, she had been practicing on the other children' faces. She was a natural fighter. The odd thing is, even as she knocked the teeth out of any guy who dared touch her, she never spoke, not even once. She may smile, laugh, frown, cry, but never once a single word escaped her lips. Her studies were well, and she excelled in every subject, and was only black-marked for her violent tendencies. It was only at an age of 15, when she crippled a senior at least a foot taller than her, was it revealed that she had a sort of addiction to adrenaline. She had to get pumped up, get her blood flowing, or she would never feel fine. As a last ditch, her parents bought her a motorcycle, a black Ducati 999 when she was 18, and studying in technical engineering and IT. She loved it, and cared for it as if it was her own child. She started donning the jacket and the helmet, but it wasn't truly Dullahan yet. Not yet.
5 years had passed, and then, Amsel worked as an IT servicelady and an oddjobsman. She had only just fixed the computer of an elderly lady, when she came out to see a posse of gun-toting hooligans shooting up the street. One of their victims was Matilda, her Ducati.
She was pissed. She went over, broke one of their guns and shoved the pieces into their faces, with her helmet and jacket on. She scrapped Matilda, selling her parts off, and then bought a Ducati 1098S, which she named "Matilda II".
Completely angered, furious at such atrocity done to automobiles (so much Freudian excuse), she became a vigilante to (I can't believe I'm finally saying this) FIGHT CRIME. WHOOOOOO. Ahem. Anyway. This obsession soon devolved into a warped sense of justice, and she finally took on a mercenarial stand between good and evil, where she would take on a job just to get the cash, and beat up anyone she was told was a 'bad guy'.
The Dullahan is here. Heads will roll.

Lowest rank for a character is C, and this would probably be an Experiment/Mutant/Otherworldly app, not a human one. Seeing how she has no head and all.

Regarding the rank, I'm fixing it now.

Amsel has a head. It's just her constant usage of a helmet that make her seem like she doesn't have one.

Alright so you get 4 C rank skills and 2 D rank ones if you want to change that around. You don't HAVE to, just a suggestion.

For her tank spec, make sure it's just her ability to take more physical damage, but if she's still shot in the knee caps, she won't be standing up and running around like a maniac still.

Punching through metal is abit much for you first skill. Maybe punching through a brick wall, but metal is too much.

For your tracker skill, if something covers the trail, she can't still track it. Atleast not at D rank.

For Hacker, make sure the computer systems she can get into are her rank.

For stealth, make sure it doesn't involve teleportation whatsoever. If she has a reason to be somewhere, she can use it. But just walking out the shadows from some super top secret base with defenses around is a no go. You'll have to break in first.
