Akuma is a relatively tall person, at just over five foot ten inches, and overall he has a lean and tan build. He weighs around 140 lbs, most of this being muscle. He has deep blue hair that is very spiky in segments, and is brushed to one side, the other side being neatly combed, giving a sort of wild look to him. He has deep red eyes, which simply have a lot of fiery passion within them. His eyebrows are thin with a confident brow, his nose being slightly upturned, while his mouth is almost always in a smirk. He has broad manly shoulders, that are covered in tribal tattoos, which have a circular and spherical pattern to them. They connect in the center of his back, completing a pattern that appears to be a sort of flame pattern.

His abdomen has defined muscles, but this is mostly because he has a lean body type. He has a very loose fitting pair of purple colored denim pants on, which is held up by a long belt that is simply tied around his waist. The belt has many silver loops punched into it and is white. Most of his abdomen is wrapped in bandages, and so are his hands up to his upper forearm. His hands are bandaged up to the middle knuckle of the fingers. Sometimes he wears a blueish purple colored jacket, that never gets zipped up, but other than that, Akuma is usually shirtless.

He usually wears orange glasses that are like mirrors, and they are large acute triangles, stretching quite far away from his head.

Personality: Akuma is a very straightforward person, as he is essentially a big hot head. He is passionate about everything he does, adventurous, loving to explore the depths of the earth if he could, and he is especially powerful in his will. Once he sets his mind to something, he will run a train that will push him forcefully straight into his goal. Beware of trying to stop him from completing his goal, as this would probably lead to some undesirable situations. He has intense self confidence, and he can not get embarrassed by any means. It is also extremely hard to implant fear in him, as he doesn't believe in fear. Fear is simply things that you do not know, and there is no reason to be afraid of anything.

Akuma loves his friends, and easily makes friends with people, as long as they aren't evil, or overly angry or disrespectful. Akuma can be a bit of an arse sometimes, but he always means well. He has a few mottos, as he has a desire for everyone to believe in someone, other than themselves, especially him. He wants to make people recognize him as being extremely strong, and this can be attributed to his extreme ego. He is one of the best, and he wants people to know it.

The Background

History:

Birth Arc: Akuma was born into a very strange household, as his father was french, but his mother was Japanese. He was born overseas in Japan, as his mother wanted him to grow up near his strong willed grand parents. Akuma was special, as he had a divine spark of will in him. Even as an infant, when he wanted something, he would crawl to hell and back to get it. He never whined to his mother for milk, nor did he do so for a diaper change. For food, he simply crawled all the way to wherever his mother was and got it for himself. As a baby, he would visit his grandparents almost everyday, and crawl around in their large back yard. He was an explorer, wanting to know everywhere there was to know, and he even encountered great things even in a small backyard. He would get plenty dirty, but that was the life of an infant, and his parents knew that to build up a strong immune system, he would need to get sick and dirty in the first place.

Childhood Arc: Once he was a child, he juggled his life between studying for school, practicing his grandfather's martial arts with him, and roaming around the large forests around his home. He discovered many things out in the forests, mostly old car parts and such, but occasionally, he would stumble upon old jewelry, and even old electronics. One day, he was wondering the forests after a particularly long day of martial arts training, and it seemed that he found a very strange metallic being. This being turned out to be an old prototype for a robot, or some sort of mechanized battle suit. Being the curious person that he was, he immediately went inside of it.

The accident: Like something out of a sci fi movie, Akuma was very quick to push all of the button in the large suit, trying to get it to work. When nothing worked, he simply laid back in the seat of the large robot, when something hooked into his spine. Shocked at first, he noticed all of the lights turn on, and the screen start doing some sort of diagnostics, but he was still only around 12 at the time, so he just wanted to see it fly around and start shooting lasers or something. Akuma started to feel very drained, and it seemed that it said that he wasn't a sufficient power source. He wasn't sure what this meant, so he started pressing buttons that seemed large and important, but nothing happened except error messages. He then turned a dial, which started saturating him with energy. The dial turned up the energy, and because he wasn't sufficient enough for a power source, the robot changed him so that he could produce more of whatever power he used. As a human martial artist, this was simply chi.

The robot quickly shut down afterwards, being most likely hundreds of years in disrepair. The process was very taxing on Akuma, and the device that hooked into his spine started bleeding, so he quickly stumbled home. They took him to the doctor, and it seemed that he had lost the use of his lower spine, so he couldn't use his legs. Akuma wouldn't have this, so he did research, and it seemed that America was the place to be if he wanted special medical care, as the grandfather on his father's side were medical practitioners, so at the very least, it would be easier to take care of him there.

Will Arc: It seemed that no one could figure out what was wrong with him, because it didn't seem like his spine was damaged, but he couldn't even feel his legs. Akuma wouldn't be having any of that, and so he would strain his will power to get up and start training again. Walking again once paralyzed isn't an easy task, and it seemed that the machine did nothing but mess up his body and life, but it was more of a test. Over and over, Akuma would attempt to walk, would keep training his body, as much as he could, and eventually he would be able to walk again. His parents were thrilled, and wanted to go back to Japan, but he decided that he would stay in America and carve his own path through the world. His parents left him with an apartment, and the payments for a few months. Akuma then immediately tried to get a job.

Intense Training Arc: All of Akuma's free time was occupied by physical training, and he got very good at what he did. It was very simple to train back up to full power and beyond, especially since after a few years of heavy training, he found that it was easier and easier, and was progressing far faster than anyone else it seemed, and that was because of his power. He didn't really have a good grasp on it, but he figured out that the machine gave him the ability to harness his inner strength.
