Mean Swing [Training Open]

Fwap. Crack. Crunch. The sounds resonated through the alley way as a man's screams would escape the darkness. On top of him would be the shadowy figure of a female constantly punching downward into his face. She had him pinned by the arms so he couldn't defend himself, making him an easy target to crush beneath her blows. However, this wouldn't last long, as a spark of electricity seemed to leave the man's body and shoot the girl off. She slammed back against the wall with a hard thud, keeping her eyes locked on the man, as he would stand up from his fetal position. Raising a hand, he would fire a few volts of electricity towards the female, who inturn, dodged them with acrobatics before leaping back on him. This game proceeded for the next couple minutes until the electric manipulating mutant lost consciousness. With one final stomp to the gut, the female would have broke a number of ribs before kicking the man into the wall. Reaching into her back pocket, she would remove a notebook with a series of names. Ripping and soon crumpling the top page, she'd toss it over her shoulder nonchalantly. "Another one down." With that said, the girl would spit out a small drop of blood before leaping up to the fire escape and climbing up to the rooftops. The sound of sirens were drawing near, probably because some loser called the cops, and she made sure to duck out before being caught blood handed. Pulling out her book once more, she would begin to shuffle through the profiles of her targets. The next was in DC aswell. That was oddly convenient. Now it came to just locating the scum and beating them into a bloody pulp. Widow was confident she could do it. After all, she was created to be a killer..That was her purpose in her artificial life.

Alethia was running through the streets of the capital, running away from the chaos that was happening with Gush the giant water beast. Right now was not the time to get the attentions of the mortals. Instead she had to study the way society worked, because it was far different from what she saw on Mount Olympus. Everything seemed so simple up there, but in reality it was brutish and ugly down here. As she was walking down the streets, she received many awkward stares. A beautiful woman with spear and shield was not a common sight down here, but she knew in a couple decades the mortals would worship the Olympians once more, and instead of giving strange looks they would fall down in awe and praise them as they once did.

After some time, Alethia was on the rooftops to escape the stares of the simple minded mortals, and was now on her way to her original objective. It did seem however that fate deemed her unready as another disturbance come up. Just a couple roofs over, a girl sprang up after she heard several electrical bolts. Down below on the streets she could see police vehicles and it seemed like the young woman was the culprit. Even worse, she was dressed in some kind of weird costume which suggested she was what the mortals called "Super Heroes" or perhaps the opposite and was a Villain. The police sirens suggested the latter.

Therefore, Alethia thought it would be a good idea to establish a good name with the Mortals. Taking down a villain, would get praise from the government and citizen alike. With that praise she could establish the first temple in this city, and faith would begin to spread from this point. In her mind, the best action would be to stop the Villain. Alethia began to sprint, jumping the gap and reducing the distance between them to one roof. As she jumped to clear the gap and land on the roof the Villain was on, she threw her spear with her godly might. If the spear caught the girl, it would rip through her because of Alethia's strength.

The sound of a person jumping rooftop to rooftop probably would have caught one's attention if it wasn't for the sirens going off. Lucky for Widow, during her route for an escape, she happened to catch a weirdly dressed woman coming her way. Now she would have loved to press this off as nothing but chance, but that wasn't likely. The woman was coming at her with a spear and shield, and that only meant trouble. It would be in her right mind to turn and run, but her cocky personality wouldn't allow her. Instead she squared off and would let the woman close the distance between rooftops. As both of them were finally on the same rooftop, there would be a distance of about thirty feet between them. The woman launched her spear towards the spider girl, who had plenty of enough time to see this and flip to the side in a dodge. With one foot on the ground, she would shift her body to shoot a web into the back of the spear. Using the web was new to her, so instead of actually getting the spear, she missed entirely. "Aww what the hell!" She'd look back towards the weird dressed female and stick up her middle finger towards her. "Nice aim old timer. If you wanted to get your ass beat tonight, I'm your girl. So let's do it!" With that said, she would kneel down to scoop up some dirt from the rooftop. In an all out sprint, she would begin to run towards the lady in gold. Using her acrobatics, she shifted and turned her body, making it hard to follow her path exactly, as the distance was now closed to about ten feet. Dropping her weight, she would suddenly crouch down while using her free hand to fire a small web towards the woman's face. Depending on the woman's action would determine her next move soon after.

Abilities:

As she threw her spear mid air in between the two rooftops, she wasn't expecting it to hit unless her target was indeed a mere mortal. As she landed on the rooftop she continued charging her, while her enemy seemingly twisted out of the way and then even attempted to grab her weapon by the likes of using some kind of web. "Nice aim old timer. If you wanted to get your ass beat tonight, I'm your girl. So let's do it!" the vile woman said as Alethia skid to to a halt. She looked at the woman in disgust, not only did she have a mouth but she used webbing to fight...it was just very unattractive in the eyes of Alethia, who was known to be very beautiful by the Olympians. It really made no difference though, she would beat this woman into the depths of Hades. After the woman had spoken to her she had began to charge. It was hard for her to keep track of her movements because of her acrobatic skill. It seemed that almost instantly a web shot out at her face. She quickly raised her shield to block he incoming web, then she brought her shield down and charged the woman that was now only ten feet away from her. She jumped and raised her fist, ready to slam the insignificant mortal into the ground.

The woman blocked her web with a shield and began to charge aswell. As she jumped, Widow kept her current momentum and would instead slide down below her, travelling beneath the woman as she went over. Still holding onto the webbing that was connected to her shield, Widow would roll off her shoulder and yank the webbing hard. Seeing how she slid under the woman, the webbing would be under her aswell. With a sudden yank, the shield would be pulled downward and would hopefully cause the goddess to slam into the rooftop face first. Well, if she held onto it. Either way, the young spider girl would begin to fire three more globs of webs attempting to pin her body in a womb of webs. "Gotta move faster than that, old timer! And what's with that outfit. Halloween was the day of my 'birth' and I know for a fact it's a few months away. Get with the times, Grandma!" The spider girl would stick a tongue out towards the woman as she kept the distance between them to a minimum of ten feet. She wasn't sure what this woman's deal was, but she seemed to be abit different than everyone else. Perhaps she was a psycho who escaped from the home or some crap. She wasn't a target on the list, but beating her still felt like ecstasy incarnate.

"She's too fast." She mumbled as she saw the nimble girl go beneath her. She was used to fighting large beasts in Tartarus, not nimble creatures so as this young woman. When she landed and began to turn around, she felt her shield being tugged from beneath. "Ha!" She yelled as she used her Olympian strength to hold her shield in place, there would be no way this little girl would take her prized possession. As she finished turning around to face her adversary, there were indeed more webs came her way. Annoyed, she dodged one glob of webbing while blocking with her large shield the other two. More useless words filled the air from the human. "Mortal, I do not know what you speak of, only that you are a villain of the earth and must be put down." She said. Suddenly, she grabbed the webbing that was attached to the girl and her shield and pulled with all her godly might. With luck the girl would come flying right at her, where her shield would be welcoming her face.

Widow was more surprised then she put on. Her yank did nothing compared to the woman's superior strength..It was abnormal. The woman even called her a mortal which caused the girl to laugh. "Mortal..? Villain..? Hahah you have got to be kidding! Looks like you really did escape from the loco hotel!" Nadia continue to laugh before the sudden yank from the woman took her off guard. The power behind the yank had caused her to leave her feet and come hurling towards her shield. With the excess webbing on the woman's shield, there would be enough cushion for the girl to slam into it without major harm. Using the momentum from the woman's own strength, she'd press off the shield to jump above the woman. Shooting a flurry of webs down upon the woman, she would look to encase and entangle her whole body this time, before shooting two stands of webbing towards the ground around her. With the previous globs of webbing as her distraction, Widow would use the last two strands of web to forcefully pull herself down. The webbing would be used as a sling shot, forcefully yanking her down feet first. With this force, she'd slam down on the woman with speed, precision, and strength; looking to slam her through the rooftop of the building and down into the top floor. If successful, both women would now be surrounded by rubble within the top floor of the building they chose to dual upon. The debris would cloud the room, and the young widow would jump to cling to one of the walls with her wall crawling ability. Even if she did happen to miss her attack, the sling shot would still send her through the rooftop. Giving a few coughs, the girl would wave a hand infront of her face. "..~Ta-dah~.. The girl would cough a few more times before shaking her head. "Looks like I don't know my own strength. Wow..Heh, strongest mutant alive! But tell me.."non-mortal woman", She said in a mocking tone, "what exactly are you? If you're a mutant..Then I'll tell you this now. You're getting your ass beat here and now. You just ran into the mutant killer."

Abilities:

((Normally I wouldn't take two hits in a row BUT, I'm having fun so what the hell))

A smile fell upon her lips, it was comparable to the first rain in a drought because Alethia was known to be non-emotional during combat. The fact that she caught the girl off guard was what made her smile. She was all bark and no bite. She watched as the small woman bashed into her shield, but unfortunately she wasn't completely aware of how much webbing was on the shield, so it did not do the damage intended. Soon after she felt her shield push back a little bit as the woman push off and above her. She raised her shield knowing full well this witch liked to use webbing like Apollo liked to Harp early in the morning. She felt thuds of more webbing hit her shield like she expected. Alethia crouched down allowing her shield to cover more of her small body, blocking every shot but...one. A shot of webbing hit her foot plastering it to the ground. Because she was distracted, she lowered her shield. When she looked up she saw the feet of the woman just a second before they hit her chest, making her fly backward and through the roof. She landed on her knee's on to the top floor, with her shield raised to block the rubble.

She raised her eyes to see the woman waving her hand and speaking more gibberish that she found quite annoying. "what exactly are you? If you're a mutant..Then I'll tell you this now. You're getting your ass beat here and now. You just ran into the mutant killer." she asked. Alethia shook her head as she smiled again. "I'm Alethia, Daughter of Hades." She said as she quickly grabbed a 80 pound chunk of concrete with her right hand and threw it with force at the woman. "Goddess of the Underworld, as if you care." She said as she then charge the girl with shield in front of her. If she was to connect with the woman, she would run her through the wall and they would fall to the street below.

The Spider-Girl would raise a brow while running a hand beneath her chin in surprise. "A goddess? That's pretty impressive! But aren't such gods and goddesses supposed to be where the human eye can not see? Like..On that huge mountain far above the clouds. Or in your case..hell?" The cocky mutant would begin to snicker under her breath at the comment before being caught off guard by a shield slamming into her. Soon the two females would be sent hurling through the wall and down towards the streets below. Widow had the wind knocked out of her from the sudden impact, but was able to luckily flip her body backwards and kick off the woman. This would causes her to shoot down towards a street light, which she'd hang from, while turning to look towards the goddess once again. Unlike the goddess who was invulnerable, the blow actually did damage to the spider girl. Small trickles of blood fell from her lips, and she felt like a rib may have cracked from the impact. Placing a hand over her stomach, she'd let a few coughs escape her lips, while remaining on the pole. "You say you're the daughter of a God, yet you're out here playing with little old me. How sweet of you! You're so adorable, Ms. Goddess of Hades!" The Spider would begin to snicker once again before hearing the sudden clicking of guns. Turning to her left, a series of cops had raised their guns and pointed it towards the two super women. It wasn't surprising. Recently DC had had alot of run ins with supers. It was only natural for them to start making serious moves in containing them. Looking towards the woman, than back towards the cops, Widow would place a hand on her head and scratch it. "Can't you fellas see the adults are talking?" She spoke in her usual cocky tone before shooting a web into two of the cops, and then shifting her body to forcefully yank them straight into the goddess.

She hit her body with her own shield, then shortly after rammed her through the wall. They both fell freely from the height and landed below on the ground. Her opponent flipped and twisted in the sky and landed gracefully, while Alethia simply twirled and landed on top of a vehicle feet first, crushing the roof. She stood from her crouched position into a full standing position on top of the car as she watched a police car pull up and its inhabitants exit. Alethia ran a hand through her locks and rubbed some dust off her face as the officers began making their orders. She was relatively fine, she maybe had a bruise on her back from going through a roof but otherwise she was unharmed. She looked at the woman to see what she would do after landing on the lamp post, and surely enough she began to turn her attention to the police officers. When she looked away Alethia twisted her torso around and then twist back forcefully, throwing her shield towards the girl on the lamp post. If the shield hit, it would hurt pretty bad. It had the force of a god behind it, so it was no ordinary throw. She then followed up by jumping off of the destroyed car and landing beside it. She quickly grabbed the bent door of the car and pulled it off the of the frame. For now this would be her shield

A tingling in the girl's skull alerted her to the woman's attack, just as she readied the shield to release. Bending backwards for a "matrix" dodged, the shield would be flung and barely miss the spider's body. "Aha..That was weird.." The girl would speak to herself with an awkward tone, as she slowly rubbed her head. That was the first time she had ever felt such a tingling, and she couldn't help but wonder what it was exactly. She felt as though she could see the woman's attack, but before it even came her way. The sensation was astounding, but even she knew trying to recreate it would be too risky versus an opponent such as this. Lifting a foot, she'd slam it down on the rod of the lighting post that hung over the street, successfully denting it for her to rip apart with sheer strength. With a quick drop to the street level, she'd hold the street lamp like a bat, slowly patting it against the ground. "Batter up, huh princess?" The small girl would lift up the pole and hold it slightly out infront of her body. Jumping up, she'd swing the long pole straight down towards the goddess in an attempt at slamming her into the hard ground. Using her abnormal grip with her sticky fingers, the aim would be strong and true. Even if the pole missed its target, it'd cause a small crater within the street. "Homerun!"

Abilities:

Alethia raised an eyebrow as the girl dodged her shield but didn't have to look at it. She figured that this girl must be able to sense movement around her, or something similar. She cringed as she saw her shield clank against the wall and drop in the same alley way as her spear and shield. No matter, she didn't need her divine weapons to defeat this woman. "They sure would help though." She said to herself as she saw the obnoxious girl destroy the pole then lift it from the concrete. She also had super human strength? Alethia began to wonder what kind of mortal this girl actually was. She released the car door as the pole came swinging and braced herself. The pole hit her, hard, She grabbed the pole as her feet dug a few inches into the concrete. "No." She said simply as she lifted the pole, and then threw it down the street. "You may be strong Mortal, but I am stronger." She said as grabbed a nearby fallen motorcycle, and flung it down the street towards her enemy. She quickly plucked the car door from the ground and began charging the girl again, this time with an alternative motive.

"Oh great! Clever plan, Widow! Try to smash Ms. Superman with a large pipe, even though she was obviously strong enough to throw you through a building. Smart Smart!" The girl cursed under her breath at her own actions, as the Goddess grabbed the other end of the pole with ease. As she threw the pole, the Spider girl went with it, seeing how she used her adhesive fingers to grasp it. Letting go in mid air, she'd flip and land on the side of a building, clinging to it like a bug. She put a hand on her side, as she leaned her back against the wall and watched the woman grab the shield once again. She didn't even appear fatigued after throwing around such weight. She was like a walking tank. She had gone through a building, a wall, and smashed down on a car; without barely any injury. Perhaps her claim of being a goddess wasn't all lies, huh? As she charged towards the spider, Widow would shoot a web up to the corner of the building and swing off the side. She'd continue to fire webs, swinging above the street line and keeping a good distance ahead of the goddess. With one final web, she would swing and kick her legs forward, slamming straight through the window of a building. Sounds of scuffling could be heard from within, before she came back to the shattered window with a flat screen tv in hand. "Two can play this game, woman!" The girl would launch the TV screen down towards the goddess from the window. Of course she knew it wouldn't do anything..But at this point, she was just trying to piss the woman off.

She watched as the woman flew along with the pole like a rag doll, only to use her acrobatic ability to once again regain herself mid air and land gracefully. She maintained eyes on her as she continued to run in her direction, only to veer off suddenly into the alley way to grab her spear and shield. After reclaiming her blessed weapons, she emerged from the ally way only to see a black object flying towards her. She simply raised her shield and found the TV to completely smash against her golden shield. Now it seemed her foe was in a window across the street...Damn, she moved fast. She walked into the middle of the street with her weapons on her sides, as she looked up towards the woman and spoke. "Mortal, It has been a millennium since I have had such a challenge on Earth. Truly, I am impressed by your ability. You have my blessing, if ever in need you may call my name...And I will be there." She said, dropping her spear and outstretching a hand towards the woman. Alethia was truly impressed by her foe, and was proud that a woman was as or even more powerful than her mortal male counter part. It was not common for a God to express their thoughts with a mortal, so she hoped that this woman would take it well...It was not everyday you got to shake the hand of a god.

Widow leaned down against the windowsill, propping her head up with her two arms. Her chin rested in her palms, as she slightly tilted her head to the side. "A woman who just tried to kill me, now wants to shake my hand. No offence my 'goddess' but I don't trust you. It's the principle of the matter. Not because of you're the daughter of one of the most underhanded gods in the history of mankind, or anything." The spider girl would hoist herself up onto the windowsill before swinging herself back onto the side of the building. "It was nice messing with you Ms. Goddess. I'm convinced you're not a mutant, and so you're not on my list of bugs to squash. If you ever need me, let ME know, and I'll be there. I have no need for gods, but to be a god you need the people to follow you correct? Or you're just another man. Or in your case, another woman." The spider girl would give a nonchalant shrug before shooting her web to the corner of a building. "Well, see ya around. I got places to be. People to kill." With that said, she kicked off the wall and swung on the web, swinging around the corner and out of sight.

The goddess listened to the woman as she spoke. " A woman who just tried to kill me, now wants to shake my hand. No offense my 'goddess' but I don't trust you. It's the principle of the matter. Not because of you're the daughter of one of the most underhanded gods in the history of mankind, or anything. " She said to her. Alethia shook her head in disgust, Humanity was disgusting! So far have they fallen, not to trust their own true gods! She began to shake in anger, as more police cars swerved to a stop around them. " It was nice messing with you Ms. Goddess. I'm convinced you're not a mutant, and so you're not on my list of bugs to squash. If you ever need me, let ME know, and I'll be there. I have no need for gods, but to be a god you need the people to follow you correct? Or you're just another man. Or in your case, another woman. Well, see ya around. I got places to be. People to kill. " and with that the girl was gone behind the corner, leaving Alethia surrounded by humanities police force. She turned around to view about a dozen officers, backed by about another dozen SWAT.

She picked up her spear and turned to view the imbeciles, she listened to their petty threats and orders to get on the ground and drop her weapons. "No..." She mumbled as she looked down at the ground, gripping her spear tighter. A tear slid down her perfect skin, and when it slide off her chin and hit the ground, the skies were completely cleared of the clouds. Alethia looked up to the heavens and spoke. "Athena, Goddess of War and Wisdom. Please protect me from the instruments of humanity," She said as she heard the clicking of the weapons. "Let me destroy these vermin and restore our dominion over the Earth." She said. With those words, the police began firing at her. She watched as a bullet came straight for her forehead and in an instant, a beam of light hit her. Suddenly her body became encased in armor, the very same Armor Athena wore herself. She thought for a second she saw the face of Athena in the sky. Suddenly the bullet hit her helmet and bounced off, hitting the brick wall behind her.

"Die, Mortals!" She yelled as she raised her shield and jumped a great distance between the humans and herself, it was such a jump she almost caught herself off guard. She collided with a police officer from atop, crushing his skull with her shield as she twisted around slashing the throats of two more officers with her spear. She kicked the car next to her, causing it to slide and hit another office. She jumped and landed on his face, instantly killing him. She then proceeded to work her way around this battlefield, killing officer after officer, until all 24 of them lay dead or dieing on the ground.

With none to face her further she turned and ran into the alley way, as she heard more police approach the scene. She recovered her breath as she wondered what new abilities she had obtained...If only she had them when she was facing that woman from before.
