Hello everyone, I have written poetry for a while, but just learned about Haiku(I knew about it for a long while, but just learned how I was supposed to create it.) Haiku is supposed to be incredibly spontaneous, think of something to say, and afterwards reword it so it fits the structure of 5 syllables, 7, then 5 again. I simply came up with these on the fly, and not even sure if any of them have deeper meanings than what they say, but if you like them, I'll post more. Again, some of these might not make any sense, so interpret them as you see fit.
==========================
My useless young feet
Do not take away from life
I'm the enemy
----------------------------------
My emotions flare
I can't seem to step away
From the pale white light
---------------------------------
Technology reigns
My mind is like a shutter
Blinking at bad times
--------------------------------
The songs are my light
Keeping me from the darkness
Why do I falter
-------------------------------
My eyes are so keen
But can they see why kids love <------The only non-serious one, but it popped into my head, so I wrote it
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
------------------------------
The beauty lingers
In the mind, my ears can see
The threat of progress
------------------------------
My family lives
They make me strong when I fail
I'm the strongest now
------------------------------
The darkness shrouds me
It is difficult to leave
No motivation
-----------------------------
I crash to the depths
My soul yearning for release
But I caged myself
