Samael stands an even 6' tall. He is slightly broad in the shoulders and fills out his clothes like someone used to playing sports all their life and is toned rather than bulky. He tends to stand confidently though his eyes generally have a slight sense of uncertainty and he tends not to maintain eye contact with people.
His clothing runs the gamut of standard casual wear and he is often found in t-shirts, flannels or basic button-ups and jeans though occasionally he might be found in a sport’s jersey if one of his favorite teams are playing or a nice suit. When ‘out’ for the night (hunting for sinners), he tends to favor a somewhat gothic style that hints Catholic.

Personality:
The dichotomy of Samael’s heritage reflects itself in his personality. He often fights feelings, thoughts and compulsions that he considers sinful and this manifests itself by making him seem quiet and reserved at times, though with a bit of a temper at times. Sometimes he can forget things for a while and let loose just like one of the guys, but it usually isn’t long before he reigns himself in.
He is a hero and an anti-hero in one, struggling to do good and distance himself from his father and mother as much as he can, all while fearing the things his father might do to him and those around him out of spite.
Sometimes his darker side comes out and he can’t help himself. Usually this happens when he witnesses particularly heinous acts and he takes it upon himself to make them right.

Description:The power to bring one's shadow to life to fight for them. The shadow of the user is a living creature of the DarkForce realm that serves the user and is an independent entity. The Shadow evolves and grows with the user but remains incorporeal and may operate independently. At C-rank the shadow may only use DarkForce powers and it's main priority is the defense though it can attack via force of will. For each rank above C-rank the user produces an extra shadow. If not attacking it constantly pulls shadows/Darkness from around the area(15yards per rank) to act as an auto defense for the user at. The power of the shadows defensive and offensive capabilities are based on level of the ability. The shadow is just that a shadow and are a DarkForce manifestation of the user's subconscious made tangible. Thus it cannot be effected by anything on the material plane other than what may effect a normal shadow(in the aspect of mentality or pain) other than complete darkness(It still can operate in complete darkness though is extremely weakened by light such as lightning or fire)

Item Power: Darkforce Manipulation - Darkforce is the name given to a negative energy drawn from a dimension near our own. Some mutants can tap into this energy naturally, while others may learn to call it up magically. Like other negative energies, Darkforce is easy to learn but hard to control. Those who can access Darkforce typically summon the dark matter of the Darkforce dimension. It appears in this dimension as darkness, but with varying consistencies. A weak field of Darkforce looks like a dark mist or shadow and can become camouflage, intimidation, or a smokescreen. A medium field behaves like a thick liquid and can impede or encase an opponent. A strong field, for most purposes, acts like a solid that can form shapes or carry things. Umbrakenesis is the most basic of the Darkforce powers being the ability to use dark force energy to extinguish visible light and surround oneself or others in darkness and shadow. One with this power could or surround foes in pitch black space making all light in that area stifled and the person unable to see around them. One with this ability can physically control a shadow by creating them where they should not exist or simply moving them.

History:
As so many stories begin… Samael never knew his father. His mother was a nun who had left the convent after she had gotten pregnant with him and she never talked about his father except to try to convince him that his father was a ‘good man’. Though when she was angry, and perhaps when she began to lose her sense of self, Samael learned the truth – his father wasn’t good at all, but rather was a wicked, wicked man and Samael was a wicked, wicked boy.
Or at least, that’s what she said. She was never really entirely sane after she left the convent, or maybe even before. She was beyond strict. Prayer several times daily. The Bible memorized early on as the true word of God.
It only got worse when his powers manifested early on in his childhood, far younger than a mutant would even. People would do what he wanted. Things would move on their own. It was enough for his mother to believe him possessed. She tried to have him exorcised, though it never worked. Finally, however, Samael wised up and just learned to control it all.
After being completely introverted for his early teen years, Samael finally came into his own. On his way home late one evening, he happened upon a man attempting to rape a woman in an alley. Samael forced the man to confess all of his major sins, punishing him along the way, and then sent him off with orders to turn himself into the police.
Ever since then, Samael saw himself as a priest of the dark. Finding sin where it dwells and bringing it to the light. Of course, who is to say what is really sinful? (The answer, obviously, is ‘Samael’.)
