Senator Hines has revealed how mutants will be handled: Sentinels.
A rumor traveled the circles of the supernatural. Mutants heard a safe, underground railroad was being started, inquire at the Summit. The beyond sought the strange power said to rest at the Summit of New York City. The gossip flitted amongst the rest: valuable information was to come to light when dawn broke over the Summit.

| The sky was a deep set indigo, splashed with a vibrant orange red as the sun dipped it's glowing face under the horizon. Soon the silvery tendrils of the moon would light the way for the locals an hopefully guide the man home, not that there was anything to worry about. He was a member of a super powerful alien race, one of the most epic in the galaxy, and possibly one of the most powerful as well...not that he really cared. Power was but a subjective ideal, there was power in humility as there is in violence and the Caelus always chose the latter, believing it to be more fulfilling. He could not however escape the glaring truth about his power within the human world. He had access to the Dark Force, the essence that existed in a completely different dimension and it only made sense that a man who possesses such a rare gift was highly regarded by normal beings.
The soft autumn breeze whispered through the city, muttering incoherent songs of nature as it made it's final flight across the coastal area. The wind brought a sense of nostalgia to the man, the sights, smells and nature of the city blossomed ancient memories that were once buried beneath his ever thinking mind. The lights of the city erupted into a warm yellow glow, setting the concrete jungle into an electrical haze of unnatural lights and sounds. He was close, the forest scoured the edges of the packed city, it's exclusive area only accessible to those capable of understanding it's ancient lore and secrets. Caelus disappeared into the woods leaving the busy city behind as he continued his stroll through the quiet path. This was merely him being the curious being that he was and setting off to perhaps get some alone time as well after being among the humans so much. The cloaked figure waded through the dense undergrowth where he eventually came to what seemed like a cave in a winter white wasteland. He hadn't even noticed the greenery fade or paid much attention to the subtle crunch of snow under his feet as he walked closer to get a better view. It was a good thing he was wearing something warm but that still didn't stop the cold from trying to penetrate through to his core.
Caelus rose into the air and took off at max speed high into the skies and over the dreary scenery to a reclusive mountain top which happened to be the mountain top if Mount Fuji. Not that the alien cared to know where he was or whether or not it might bother people that he blatantly abused his abilities for frivolous purposes. As he stood atop the mountain there came a nagging feeling within him compelling him to seek some form of entertainment. The best kind being a fight but the odds of getting on in such a remote place was unlikely yet he still hoped such a thing would happen.

| The sensation of exploring the depths of his mutant powers was exhilarating. He had spent so many years keeping them dormant and avoiding the pursuit of anything more than he knew, yet now his eagerness to learn had brought him to the most remote part of the planet. Blake had no idea what he was looking for; however, this terrain provided him with an excellent opportunity to test the extent of his abilities in different conditions. He was dressed appropriately considering the temperature and altitude that he was at. His thick winter coat contained layers upon layers of clothing, protecting him from the harsh conditions of Mount Fuji. The mastery he now possessed with his mutant powers had made the ascent to the peak of the mountain simple. It really proved testament to the benefits of his powers, the ease of travel and ascent to locations that only a handful of people ever reach. The ground beneath was patched with snow and embedded with jagged edges and deep grooves. The autumn breeze did nothing but blow an icy dread across the young man, who had fortunately been well clothed. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to further explore the depths of his abilities. It was odd, Blake had never been the type to fixate him on anything; however, these super powers had completely captivated the mutant and captured his imagination. He was now one with nature and when he focused his attention he could feel every millimeter of the mountain top as it if were an extension of his own body. He could feel a slight disturbance.
Typically, Blake would not be able to identify anyone through the earth; however, the mountain top provided such isolation that Blake could feel the slightest signal emanating from some part of the mountain. He set his gaze across the snow-white scenery, looking to see if his intuitions were indeed correct. In the distance, he noticed the presence of an individual clad in black (typical). He slowly began approaching the target, only close enough to distinguish the figure. As he stepped ever so closer, the blurred image became more and more clear. He was still quite a distance from the target before he stepped back and glared attentively. It was Caelus. Blake had previously encountered Caelus when the two of them had been hired to seek out a genocidal android named Alice. He held his ground as he signaled over to Caelus, thinking that he had surely been spotted by the rouge alien.

| Caelus waited out in the cold for whatever to happen that he was promised would happen soon but unfortunately he wasn't really the patient type at all. The howling blizzard outside did little to deter the flickering flame of battle that warmed his insides and set every hair on his head on end. He would cast an excited gaze glazed over the area to make out anything through the high winds and falling snow that whipped strangely around just the summit of the mountain. One man in particular was spotted out in the open not too far from where he was standing but not to close so that he could make out the face. A crude smirk was plastered on his face as his opponent finally managed to show up for the super powered bout they were about to have. Although he could make out a waving motion out where the figure stood but he couldn't discern whether the man was provoking him or not. The rouge alien scoffed and moved closer to the stranger just so he could see exactly who they had matched him up against. As his feet sank into the snow and the bitter winds lapped at his body Caelus moved steadily closer until the figure came into view. The sight of this particular man set off a wide grin on his face because he had worked with the individual before. Blake was indeed a strong fighter from what he remembered of their past mission together and that alone made him want to fight him even more. "So its you Blake of all people. I'm guessing you're ready to fight me now seeing how you bothered to show up. I don't plan to go easy on you so please make this entertaining for me my friend." The darkly clad alien spoke rather calmly as if addressing a long lost friend or loved relative before taking a few steps back and crossing his arms in a non-threatening gesture. This was commonly his battle pose but few would really know that seeing how they were never conscious long enough to retain that information. | |

| Sorry to be "that guy", but I'm not going to be here for the next two days so I'm gonna have to take the auto-win since Caelus didn't respond with 48 hours. Sorry buddy. | |
