and then there were two....

Nameless and his compatriot would arrive at an old abandoned mill. It was a safe house he used for numerous things including when he wanted to get away from certain law enforcement. The place was subtle and did not raise suspicion and was decent for a hide out spot until he moved his operation. There was still old machinery and the such around but for the most part the place was clear. Nameless would go to one of the old tables and take a seat inviting the lady to do the same. He needed to get things organized first and then they could proceed as planned. Assuming the woman took a seat or stood he would begin talking either way. "We will be the nucleus for a team designed to stop the criminal element. Why? Well the reason why is simple.... to eradicate the competition and gain the trust of the people. The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world he didn't exist. So we will be wolves in sheep clothing. Defend the people....save the helpless blah blah blah and we take it all. Though we are certainly extraordinary it will take more than me and you to pull this elaborate scheme off. I have some contacts I will be getting with but in the meantime we need to recruit others like us." he took a pause before going on "Oh and don't worry we will get everything you need to handle your fatherly situation you have my word. With that said he would await her response hoping they would have no delays in future plans. He had everything already mapped out in his head and the possibilities were endless.

Tara walked behind the man with her usual red hoodie and flash themed backpack hanging off the side of one of her shoulders. Her green eyes looked around the room before looking back towards the Nameless one who took a seat in a chair. He offered her a seat, but she would stand instead. "I'd rather stand on my feet. It's a speedster thing, don't ask why." As she spoke, she couldn't help but crane her neck and continue to look around the old mill. It was funny. She pictured he lived in some hole in the wall. "You know with all the money I stole, I could have gotten us a nice room. Inviting a girl on her first date to a place like this is kinda creepy, don't you think?" She let a laugh escape her lips before focusing back on the 'man' that began to speak. His words rang true on most accounts. People did worship their saviors. Some worshiped blindly. When he reached the part where he said 'other's like us' she couldn't help but raise a brow. How many freaks were really out there? And he wanted to recruit them? One of them killed her father. Who was to say they wouldn't turn and try to kill them when they got the chance? The thoughts rushed through her brain at higher speeds than a normal person could manage, but with his next sentence they came to a stop. "..What did you just say?" Her eyes narrowed towards the man. She didn't know he could read minds, so having information on her father automatically put him on the beat and interrogate list. Grabbing the chair's back support, she'd lean slightly on it, keeping the same expression. "What do you know about my father?"

He tilted his head at her last question and tapped on the table. "What do I know about you?" He let her ponder that question for a moment before he went on. "I have ways of extracting information that you could never dream of. We just have to get pointed in the right direction. In order to find the answers you need we will need resources, supplies , and leads....plenty of leads. So what we need to do is to get started right away. I plan for us to move this operation to D.C. we will still be close to New York but there to protect our Nations assets. Which is the quickest way to catch the attention of the public. The quicker we get this started the faster we can get a respectable base of operations up and running. Though before we do anything we need a third and possibly a fourth. Meanwhile we need to think of a name...something that will catch the public eye and intimidate our foes more or less if you have any suggestions." He would sit back in the chair as comfortably as possible and now hear the woman's feed back if she had any that was.

Tara would cross her arms as the man spoke in his usual tone. She continued to tap her arm at an accelerated race, as she didn't get any information from him in regarding her father or her life. Instead he went on about the team, and how they would need to recruit more. She was sure that would be her job, even though he had an easy job finding her first. The fact he could find her so easy was actually nerve racking. If he could find her, who's to say the FBI or the cops couldn't locate, and lock her away? She didn't even leave a paper trail in her wake. Shaking her head, she would raise a brow towards the man. "Point me in the right direction, and I'll recruit anyone you want. But I want information in exchange. Once we do get their trust, and we're on the top of the world. What then? Will you help me find my father or will I forever be running from the truth of what happened that night? And for a name..I wouldn't leave that up to someone like me." The speedster would tilt her head forward, tapping her foot at an accelerated pace that made it sound like blades from a chopper.

Night time, it truly was the best time for one to pursue such goals as finding the sustenance of the body. An activity that, ironically enough, this great beast did not partake in.
There was darkness, covering the city in great swathes. It wasn't true darkness, merely the shadow of the buildings that strutted unmoving upwards, almost appearing to touch the white period splotches that occasionally dotted themselves in lonesome or many great groups. It didn't matter to South, a being who had no real concept of night or day, he had heard the term in passing during one of the periods in which it was safe for him to venture out and explore. Knowledge of his surroundings was one of his most pressing callings. It was an instinctual desire to seek out nuggets of sparkling knowledge, which reflect light illuminated the shady world he lived in. Insofar he had been restrained by the long windy streets of his current residence, but now...he had been presented a change to seek out further changes, further knowledge as the large ball of fire lowered it's rotund body below the contours of the world.
Stalking his way along the back-alleys of the Housing District, he came across his first mistake of wandering through backyards. A rather enthusiastic four legged beast attacked him with suitable ferocity that dictated a response, both verbal and physical. Leaving the body that had been in the process of defecating it's proverbial pants before it's explosive death, the large beast continued on, now moving at a greater rate then before, there was no time to fool around. That had been a little too close to detection for comfort. Little did South know that it was a fairly common occurrence and that had he left the creature to the peace of it's own environment, no one would have been any the wiser. But now that the owners of the institution would find one of their pets dead, well that begged a whole new can of worms entirely.
Now out in the countryside -or at least what he knew of it, South approached the old industrial area, his large frame allowing him access to the rooftops of the place. A good as area as any to start his exploration.

He smiled as the lady made the statement of the point her in the right direction. "Well the area I need you to recruit from is right outside". He said pointing in a general direction of the mill. He had felt the surface thoughts and the emotions of what was prowling outside and he was now digging beyond the surface thoughts unbeknownst to the man. Hands would rub the smooth surface of the mahogany table that had partially rotted. Crimson orbs peered where he had pointed as if focusing, The cold draft that crept through the cracks of the buildings foundation was as subtle as the small leaks of illumination that managed to provide a small source of light in the building. It was enough light to make out shaped and faces but Nameless's natural habitat was in the darkness. That was his realm, his dominion and he was truly powerful there. He would then answer his partners second question. "I will help you find your father and the truth you seek. That is my word, though we must stay focused. We have a guest would you mind greeting him for me I have a few more facts I need to pull from him before we make our introductions." With that said the darkness around him would begin to ripple as his body soaked it all in. Could this be the third they were looking for?

Tara would turn back towards the mill, as the Nameless one pointed in the general direction. Apparently he had his first target to recruit, and she'd be the one to go get him. Great. Unlike him, she actually had to scout the area to find someone. She couldn't just sense and know they were there. At the same time, finding them wouldn't be a problem whatsoever. She was a hunter, after all. Nodding towards the man, she'd take off out the door at a cruise speed of 90mph. It was fast enough for her to move about like a blur, but wasn't too fast to where she couldn't stay in full control and scout around. She would take a second to speed up and run up the side of the mill at a steady pace, hitting the top in a matter of seconds. Being high up was her best bet of finding whatever she was looking for. Of course, she was suspecting a person..So when she would instead spot a monster, she was immediately on the defense. It stood on top of the very building that stood several meters next to the mill. Was it a spy eavesdropping in on the conversation between herself and the Nameless one? Surely it wasn't what he spoke of. Well precautions were precautions. The speedster would duck down and begin to gather a series of loose debris that was scattered on the rooftop. Probably kids tossing rocks up there to see who could launch them the furthest. With four medium sized rocks in her left palm, she'd look back towards the beast. He was facing away from her general location. Infact, she was slightly behind him, when it came to where they both stood on their separate rooftops. This gave her the element of surprise, unless the strange figure in the night had a form of sensory.

Keeping the potential projectiles in hand, Tara would run down the building and up the other in a blink of an eye, standing on the far end of the rooftop and to the opposite side of the strange beast. Tilting her head forward, she would finally speak to it. "Never seen something like you before. You lost?" Her voice was completely calm, though she was sort of anxious, seeing how she had run into freaky zombie people earlier that day. It was possible that the appearance of this strange being had something to do with that. Now don't get me wrong..Tara wasn't the type to turn her back on a threat when her own safety was in jeopardy. If the beast showed hostility towards her, she would only return the favor.

A voice, the vibration of air fashioned directly into the means in which knowledge, understanding, intent are all shared between beings with the ability to comprehend and then regurgitate shared perceptions in a back and forth method. This was the everyday communication that most people went through on a daily basis, and being able to effectively twist ones own perceptions on them could be a most significant skill that allowed for social renown and the ability to get what one wanted in life. One of the more popular terms for such a trait was having a 'Silver Tongue' which didn't really make much sense as a idiom beyond sounding nice. Maybe there was some corner of recent history that involved someone having a silver tongue through a genetic fault line, but speaking literally, silver wasn't the highest prized material on earth and having a tongue coated in metal would prevent mobility and being able to properly articulate their words. So, why these creatures said it was beyond South, as it was, an outside perspective left him slightly cynical of their society and it's frivolities.
So analysing this females words was slightly difficult for the creature, she had an odd bounce to her speech, her vocalisation almost seemed to jump ahead of her actual intent, before she had to pull it in and finish off the sentence. A single invisible orb vanished from within it's armoured head, one single languid blink that would be invisible to her if not for the pervasive light from the building beneath their feet, and the other one that was alighted with visible life, albeit the glow was weak, but managed to lightly illuminate their surroundings. Apparently enough for the female to pick up several items, her limbs curved around something, holding, supporting something unknown to South. But people around here didn't seem very well known for their perchance of waiting for responses, seemingly unable to put a line of discussion on hold for a period of internal monolingual reflection before continuing.
So being forced to quickly construct a brief statement about her own paradoxical comment, was hard to say the least. What should one say about their own existance and body shape when they are told that nothing like them has been seen before. 'Thanks?' With the question mark completely visible within spoken language? No, probably not. It would be better to settle for an equally impassive comment.
"Nothing lost if never found, seen things like you before I have."
Yup, nice, and to the point, even if his grammar would make a specialist wince, it still got his own opinion across, which was the entire point. Comprehending it was her job.

Being naturally on guard, Tara had sidestepped in a blur, moving to the right of the building, which was the figures left, in what seemed like a second or less. Her piercing green eyes was looking at his body. With the darkness, she could barely see much. If he had attacked her previously, her sidestep would have been a sufficient dodge by luck, and luck alone. But no, it seemed like the beast had some form of intelligence somewhere within its mighty hull. Maybe this was what the Nameless one spoke of. "You have a weird way of talking, but the fact you know english is pretty amazing. And your voice..I was expecting some kind of 'Be-boop boop beep' kinda response." The girl placed a finger on her chin, as she tilted her head to the side slightly. It didn't attack her right off the back, so it wasn't hostile. And it could speak, so it had some intelligence aswell. The voice itself, made her wonder if it was a human riding in some kind of suit. So interesting..If she were a scientist, she would have wanted to take it apart and see what made it tick. Shaking the thoughts from her head, Tara would place her free hand on her hip. Even if this wasn't the one the Nameless one wanted, she would bring it. Or atleast try too. "Um, you seem like you could use a place to rest for the night. I have a place nearby, if you'd like somewhere to stay..Or something like that.." It was an awkward moment.

This creatures speed of motion was truly great, her form had flickered in and out of existence as she shuffled to the side, a blur of motion that left any attempt at perceiving it, pointless. But not unbeatable, being a naturally observant creature, it followed that South would naturally have a rather wide range of perceptions in regards to all that he saw, and what he saw that was despite her speed, she needed to push off against a surface in order to achieve motion. The flesh beneath the armour crinkled in puzzlement, unfamiliar with the physics of any plane in existence. Nonetheless, it would allow South to track her, even if it was a imperfect art. Shrugging to itself, South stood up, reaching it's full height of two and a half meters as he looked down on her, the yellow light from the building beneath them reflecting from his shaded optics, becoming an orangey glare if she decided to meet the eyes of South.
Not having the understanding that the girl had of onomatopoeias, South ignored the comment that was directed to him regarding his speech pattern, the wording going right over his head.
The rest of it however, was simple enough to comprehend. The female had been expecting something else. Suddenly it's eyes narrowed into a pair of slits as South glowered at her. No matter were you come from, suddenly receiving this sort of full out smouldering look of outrage is enough to catch the eye.
"Expecting? Why you anticipate...?" South stumbled a bit with the long word, his newness to the language showing in a single flash of raw vulnerability. Taking a small step back, his body quickly settled into it's slumped state, something that did nothing to reduce it's look of distrustfulness it was directing at her. Sometimes too much knowledge was a bad thing, especially with a mouth that lacked the capacity to keep it away from unwanted ears. The plates of the armour clinked together in a abstract frown, something that would probably do nothing to reduce it's horrid appearance in the dark.
When she next opened her mouth, and spoke again, it was with more information. The frowned lessened and the angry glow of the eyes marginalised itself.
"Such a arrangement can be worked out."
It certainly wasn't like he was in a position with much negotiable capacity. The female had spoken first instead of attacking him from behind, so there must be some benevolence in her motives.
South gestured towards the mouth of the light, a clear question in the motion. 'Shall we?'

The way this thing moved was kinda weird, if not freaky. Every movement put Tara on alert, and some were just calling for her to attack. If she were to attack first, then she would have the upper hand, right? I mean, it was pretty dark and seeing a small rock coming at you at your blindside at 400mph was nearly impossible. Though, that wasn't necessary it seemed. Infact, the beast decided to come along willingly, which was a major surprise. Turning her body to the side, and keeping her front facing it so she wouldn't get blind sided, Tara would point towards the old abandoned building a few ways away. "There's the place. I have an acquaintance-." Yeah acquaintance. The Nameless one was hardly a friend. "-there that would like to meet you. He'll put a roof over your head for as long as you'd like." With that said, she'd begin to walk backwards while giving the beast a nonchalant salute. "I'll see you there." With that said, she shot off the roof in a blur and would free fall towards the ground. Spinning her arms at a high rate of speed, she would generate two vortexes that would catch her and allow her to enter the building. Once upon entry, she'd walk off to the side and let the two..things..talk.

There is a sub-language, one that is more effective at conveying your feelings then spoken verse or a more graphical statement, the body posture. Not that it was terribly effective in their current lighting, but some things could be conveyed through tone of voice, through choice of words, heck some people just gave you a bad vibe for no apparent reason. And you based some of your outward projections of that person on those feelings. But what was most interesting is that she had been the one to be scent forward when the person who was evidently socially higher on the ladder then her hadn't been bothered. Why?
Not having the whole background information necessary to comment appropriately on the matter, South left his introspections there. Instead following the female down to the ground level at a rather rapid pace, South took the more scenic tour, his long lanky frame circling the establishment twice before finally walking into the entry, he wasn't a fool and wasn't about to drop his guard from the promises of someone not yet properly met. His method of reaching the ground had been slightly more time consuming then he might otherwise wish, but the sedate clamber down had been therapeutic. South was slightly prideful, a trait he seemed to share with many members of the male species that also walked this rock. A pride that had been slightly tarnished during his conversation with the female. Inwardly South cursed. No name to the face, the likelihood of remembering her now the reduced. And remembering her specific features could be extremely important, maybe he could pass off asking as being a love-sick monster. There had been a rather entertaining piece he had seen in one of those windows that was open to the public, available for perusal. He had stopped by one such place to see the same scene repeated out over many surfaces, a large hairy monster clinging to a tower, with several creations flying around it that he would later learn to identify as aeroplanes, but what had most irked South had been the blone clutched in the beasts hand. A fact that never ceased to provide some amusement. Yes, that was certainly one option to get the information he required. Still- South reflected silently- he was still new to the entire world, and had no reason to die just yet. He walked inside the establishment with every intent to walk out the other side.
Approaching what appeared to be the main room in the housing facilities of the mill, South reflected that he now understood why this particular manner of creature had not gone out himself to find South, the two of them might still be out there, roaring challenges. A clinking of plates accompanied the flesh beneath them bending it's brow. This encounter could prove to be.....interesting. Yes, that was the adjective South was looking for.
"Salutations to you and yours."
It was an old, classical greeting he remembered from one such encounter between two of the elderly of the more common bred races he had encountered. It somehow felt, fitting between the two of them.

There would be no verbal greeting in response to the man's unorthodox vernacular, Crimson orbs pierced the darkness and set themselves upon the man in a cold stare. Several seconds without a word in the muggy room to most would seem like an eternity before finally the barely audible sound of the Nameless ones breath would break the silence. It was then that a rather low tone of several contrasting vocals would spill from a single entity. Whether it was the man's true nature or some hidden power coming to light he seemed like he was almost one with the darkness that shrouded them all. While the low level of illumination provided them with enough visibility to make out shapes and general features albeit not in great detail, the man who's name was never said seemed to only be a silhouette within the embracing umbra. "The world is such a lonely place and you my friend have been dealing with a lot. Sooooo many organizations so many little social groups and all of them want to see little ole you either dead or as their personal lab rat. I commend you for making it this far alone I know it was a long road. Though you do know it's only a matter of time. I say no more running no more hiding....true freedom is what you want ...true Anarchy. I want to extend an invitation to you along side myself and my speedy associate here. S.H.I.E.L.D has allies I think it would serve well for you to have some also. If not for a sense of purpose then for the sake of self preservation". With that said the silence would again cling to the air and those glowiung eyes would turn a soft brown before blending in with the rest of the shadowy figure.

Yes, this humanoid figure wreathed in the physical manifestation of the absence of light was for lack of any better word to describe his presence: intimidating. A pair of sanguine optics sort out South's figure, only vaguely available from visual assessment with assistance from the rusty filaments of the globe above them. Suspended on a wire, stripped naked from it's usual plastic coverings. But maybe this manner of supernatural spectre didn't need such a requirement, indeed aside from visual aesthetics, the red pigmentation of the darkness might serve no purpose beyond being intimidating.
It did the frown on South's face no favours beyond inspiring the being to twist it's head ever so slightly to the side. It was a largely human posture that had been adapted from them simply because they were South's only role-models. And his voice didn't do much to remove the concept that he was mostly, or entirely a flesh and blood construction, his articulation contained the elements of many with the intent of one. The small scale monologue was given careful consideration, many words were used in there that South hadn't a full handle on. 'Anarchy' required careful mental concentration in particular, the context of the word itself eluded him, so he looked at the scenery in which the overall picture this allegation of vibrations. This as so now- unnamed being seemed to articulate in a manner that was slightly similar to his own. While South didn't expressly know it, his own biological make-up included a multitude of bones lining his throat canal, these vibrated and the sounds produced were shaped by his shark mouth.
But nonetheless, it was an appealing and frightening picture that was painted of his short life so far. And startling accurate. The faintly glowing slits that were the reflected light of his eyes narrowed into slits as he stared at the unidentified one. Again, they knew too much, far too much for his taste.
"Time for me, limited." It was simply a restatement of the facts demonstrated by this being. "Of this, I know. Extend time by following you." Again, simple restatements. It simply hammered in the concept, while also serving to help the beast understand this creatures intent.
"Associate, with you and fleet of foot." It's head was already angled to the side, so it merely stopped frowned, an oddly peaceful look on the war-like features.
"Of this I accept."

"Good" was his only reply as he would stand. "The Anarchs are set....there is a special task I need you two to handle." As he said this he placed a newspaper gently on the rotting wood surface. Seemingly the same time he did it the area around the table grew more visible to the point where they could read it visibly. "There is a strange object in the Baltic that scientists are babbling about, The levels of Gama radiation coming from it are off the charts. Whatever it is it's displaying a massive energy output. I'm sure we won't be the only party investigating this thing so be on the look out. After that we will begin our move to DC where we will be setting up shop. No where better than the Nations capital. While you two are doing that I have one more member I need to recruit. We can use this location as a rally point to meet up when everyone is done." he would turn to face the exit and begin to walk awaybefore seemingly disappearing into the darkness and there was nothing left. (My event to I can't join you guys on it good luck)

The affirmative was all South needed, his long limbs slowly stretching, his mind already whirling with various possibilities of travel. The first among which would be hijacking the various airlines, but there were other ways of travel. Of course, his associate would be set. She would likely travel there manually, probably beating him there by several hours.
Fortunately it appeared they had a assignment off that bat, something to keep the two of them occupied. Smiling to himself, or at least the closest equivalent that he could make, South noted down the location of where their apparent leader intended to relocate to. The multi-voiced being obviously had plans, many plans that they were only informed of to the smallest degree. South was comfortably with such an arrangement however, he too could- and would begin to formulate his own plans for the future. Now that he had a working arrangement with these few people, he could begin to express himself in this world. Expand, grow, develop and enhance himself. Turning around, South proceeded to leave the establishment in a more mundane fashion then his two partners.

The old guys were done talking, and Tara had almost fallen asleep from the odd exchange. With the mission at hand, she'd tilt her head. Apparently a mission was given to them or something? She hardly payed attention but she knew she would have to travel over sees to whatever it was. A few pit stops would be taken on the way. Her goals were the priority of course. Shifting a loose strand of hair behind her ear, Tara would disappear in a blur, heading back towards her next location. Wherever she wished to appear..
