Talius at first glance is a petite girl in her late teens, with skin like porcelain. The only unfortunate blemish is a vertical and oddly precise scar over her left eye which is approximately 3 inches long. While on the subject, her eyes are a vibrant green accented by her shiny bright red hair which is long enough to reach her hips. While she only stands at height of 5'4", she has a considerable bust line, toned arms, legs, stomach, and complimenting hips. Due to her species association with dragons, she has slightly pointed ears, small feline-like fangs, and unusually fast growing and thicker nails then humans. These tend to be pointed naturally. Usually her attire consists of leathers, tight fitting denim, or even short skirts/dresses and leggings. Her color scheme doesn't stray far from blacks, reds, and dark browns and deep greens. The exception is when she's doing something that may need her powers, and then it's military style cargo pants and half-tops to free up her arms and legs.

Personality:
Talius is just as complex as any intelligent human being; She feels pain, sadness, happiness, and anger especially. To generally sum her up, she can be moody, short tempered, darkly intelligent, and even oddly affectionate. Her moodiness stems from her seemingly never-ending torment of being stuck between loving the humans she lives among due to her years of devoting her life to their preservation...and despising every last one for her permanent banishment from her home planet and the shame of her scar. The reminder that empathy is weakness as she lives in the sort of limbo she was cast in to. Although it doesn't help much, this is not the reasoning behind her reasonably short temper. Her race is known for this trait, easily giving her fire elemental Dracalis family the brand of 'hot headed brutes'.

As for intelligent, Talius has always been an extreme studier. While her entire species is questionably barbaric in it's own way, they never lacked in their quest for knowledge. Her specialty was always human studies, a less known subject, but one that ran in her family. Besides this, she is known for her ability to 'think outside the box', always either being the one to think of something that usually never crosses others' minds or being the one to do what no one else has the guts or intelligence to. Most of this is due to needing to find a place in her Dracalis society before she is deemed expendable. As size, strength, even speed are not things she excels in among her own, being a scholar was her best bet. Despite all this barbaric behavior, among their own kind the dragon-like race were composed of close knit clans or families. These families were usually very affectionate to each other, and this was the main way that bonds were made or ties strengthened. Chatting it up like humans usually do just wasn't a big thing with them. Talius retains this tradition.

Generally, she is a no nonsense girl when it comes down to business. While she prefers to be mistaken for a mutant in human form, anyone who guesses she's not originally human won't get a straight no. She does have a sense of humor, but it generally leans toward dark or perverted categories of such. While a bit of a sarcastic smart-ass, kindness isn't lost on her, but it's rare she will give it away for free herself.

Talius was born to a 95 year old Dracalis named Typhus Daenon and his mate, 82 year old Likalin Faetul. She was the third child, yet expected to catch up quickly to her 28 and 50 year old brothers. Like most others, she was immediately thrust into learning how to control her spontaneous dragon transformations, followed sharply by finding her place in society. Unlike humans, Dracalis MUST have a life purpose besides finding a mate and furthering their bloodline. Within her first 10 years her father Typhus knew she would not be a fighter like her brothers, so he pushed her towards becoming a scholar and healer. While her father was a stern and seeminly cold creature, he lacked nothing with love for his family. His fierce protection and preservation instincts mingled and his weakest child, Talius, became the object of his attentions. Rejected by her brothers and mother for her weakness, Talius welcomed this spot light and took up human studies which had been growing in popularity and need for expertise.

It was at this age that she began to spy on the humans through agents placed on Earth through these complex portal systems and through long range computer systems. Everything an average teenager that had gone through high school and graduated she knew by the age of 22. Her studies became more of an obsession, though, and this made her lose her father's love slowly but surely. The rest of her family and a majority of other clans nearby saw this as a sick taboo, the love she developed for the creatures. It was like a wolf falling in love with an elk. The need for information on humans was due to the growing lack of food for their species, and the need to possibly relocate to a new planet. Earth was not the only plentiful bounty, but it was a major attention grabber for the increasing human population. One of the jobs she had been giving was gathering information; Of their general defenses, ability to defend against Dracalis technology, and most of all ability to work together in an extremely stressful situation. She was put in the lead of the case concerning moving to Earth, while others were put in charge of the other planets. She was supposed to be the one to argue changing humans to their number one prey, but it had obviously backfired.

By the time she was 26, her obsession would be tested when the world council was called as well as all the case leaders including herself. She watched as the others went before her, standing in the back with her soon-to-be arranged marriage partner, Tobius. Tobius was actually a childhood friend of hers, a long realized love, and the marriage was one of the highlights of her future as the feelings between them were mutual. Yet, as they listened, occasional mumbling to each other, she knew that the humans were going to be the top candidate. All the other races were either too few, too far away, or too advanced. Nothing she said bad about the humans would be provable. They would surely turn to Earth, and even the considerable number of traditionalists that wanted to stay and limit their population was enough to keep the Dracalis on their own planet. Instead of give up, though, she tried to teach empathy to the King of Dragons and his council. After a lengthy and blasphemous speech about how humans are not prey, but respectable and advanced emotional creatures that they could all learn from, an uproar rippled through those in attendance. Some left the disorder to attack her, while others leapt to her defense. It was chaos as she fled the council meeting, lead by her faithful Tobius as the sudden beginning of the war of the ages reaped it's first victims.

Before she went into hiding, Talius broke into the computer system and effectively deleted every piece of information on humans, even calling back the spies with the news of the war. She was in and out before the confused and distracted Dracalis could catch her, and she effectively eluded everyone but her partner Tobius for 3 years before they caught up to her own father. She and Tobius were tortured, Tobius was eventually killed, and she was banished to the human world half alive and marked as a traitor. She still remembers his last words as he cut down her lover, 'For these humans, you will sacrifice everything. Your precious Tobius, your family, even your people. The humans are your people now, so go and live with them. If your lucky, maybe they'll use sedatives when they dissect you.'

She woke up in a hospital bed with no knowledge as to how she got there, only knowing she was on Earth. After escaping quickly under the guise of a fire alarm she pulled, she lived on the streets and used her knowledge to steal what she needed, eventually getting under the table jobs and making enough money to support herself in a small apartment.
