The Great Stasis [SuperBoy]

Grimshaw got word from his informant that a super was discontent with his heroic lifestyle, and that word was getting around fast. People with malicious intent would most likely jump at the chance to convert a hero, so a little telegram was sent to the man in question, but the SHIELD agent Grimshaw, and it was an invitation to a test. A research test that would allow the person to become better. It would be a great opportunity for the super to have something to do, and it would allow Grimshaw to test him. A win win situation as much as he saw it. Grimshaw would be standing outside the meeting point, which was a small diner, with the Shield van ready to take this man back with him and put him in the machine, if he said yes.

There he was. He was home in Texas in his mansion when he checked his mail and got a letter.. A man named Grimshaw wanted to see Kon-El at some SHIELD headquarters. Kon-El knew of this place but didn't know what they wanted with him. As the cameras swarmed him Kon-El took off right towards New York where he was told to go by this man. Some diner place. Ponchos or some shit. Anyway once there Kon-El landed and forgot he was in new york and within seconds was attacked by cameras howling him for a picture but he simply smiled as he walked towards them before walking inside the area looking for this Grimshaw guy.

Well, it seemed this man was very famous, and he would most likely help, even if it was simply for a publicity stunt. Grimshaw then looked at the man, and then simply outstretched his hand. "Nice to meet you, I am Grimshaw. I want to extend a hand to you, and offer you an opportunity to help out against all the bad super and yada yada. You can use this as a publicity stunt, or whatever" He said this quiet enough so that only the super could hear. "Basically I'll stick you into a machine, and then you'll sleep, and constantly heal, and I'll be able to study you." After this conversation was done, he would offer the man a seat into his vehicle, and then they would drive to the headquarters. It was simple to get in, as the scanners they had could tell he wasn't a spy or anything. As they walked into his office, Grimshaw showed him the machine. "Well, this is it, you can step in and sleep, or you can simply leave, I don't mind whichever."

As a man greeted Kon-El the former hero would shake his hand and hear out his words before they began walking towards a vehicle. The man started mentioning sticking Kon-El in a machine that would let him sleep for a very very long time and resubmerge when he wanted to. Kon-El liked this idea and was okay with it so he got in the car and they drove back to Grimshaw's base. Once there Kon-El was scanned before following Grimshaw to a room where the machine pod thing was and he simply stepped in it and someone closed it. Lone Star was now in his cryogenic sleep.

The man would be studied swiftly, and it would greatly help him in his quest for more human power.
