Senator Hines has revealed how mutants will be handled: Sentinels.
A rumor traveled the circles of the supernatural. Mutants heard a safe, underground railroad was being started, inquire at the Summit. The beyond sought the strange power said to rest at the Summit of New York City. The gossip flitted amongst the rest: valuable information was to come to light when dawn broke over the Summit.

| It was just like every other night on patrol in the city that never sleeps, noise came from all areas and lights illuminated New York. Will stood on the rooftop of an old, vacant apartment building, only a few stories tall. His black suit would let him completely fade into the night if it wasn't for the splashes of dark red on his mask and portions of his costume. When moving quickly he would be primarily a blur of blackness anyways so it didn't matter to a great degree. A slight smile was etched on Will's face but that wouldn't be seen by anyone around because of his mask. He stood on the edge of the roof, looking down to the scales of rusty metal stairs. Only taking a couple of moments to think about his manifesting abilities, Will leaned forward pushing off at the last second and plunged down towards the ground. As he flew down to the middle flight of stairs he extended his arms to grab the railing and flipped over, stomping against the stair flight to send himself more forward than down. He made it to the wall of the building on the other side of the alley and began sliding down it. Just when it looked as if Will would suffer a pure drop he turned his body, reaching with his right hand and pressed on his palm with his middle and index finger.
A string of web attached to a stair railing and he grabbed it, pulling hard to take most of his body off the wall and used his feet to run down and along it. He reached the point where the web was taut and pushed off with his feet letting the force of gravity bring him down as he swung the opposite way he was running. He swooped down, lifting his legs up to a ridiculous point so as not to scrape against the ground and when he reached the height of the forward swing he let go of the web. He let his momentum take him, naturally back-flipping as he went into the the street. It wasn't too busy of a driving zone but as he landed he saw there was an incoming car speeding towards him, clearly going above the designated speed limit. He knew that he was a goner if he couldn't fast enough, even as he began sprinting he knew it was going to be close. The car was there, he just needed a couple steps to be safe. He was about to get clipped then out of nowhere he blasted ahead, much faster than he had ever run in his life. He was a blur even to himself for a moment until he regained control of his legs and slowed to a stop. In only a couple seconds at most he was already deep in another alleyway. He had a very incredulous expression but he would be the only one that could know that. Trying to think through what may have happened, Will shot a web up to the wall of the building on his right side and leaned back to stretch the web. Once he felt the appropriate amount of elastic stress he bounded upwards and let the web's force send him way up, a little passed the top of the building. While completely airborne Will scanned around at the next street to see what was going on. He heard sirens and the same car that nearly hit him was speeding down the street, much faster than even he was before. Sure enough the cops followed him but the traffic would make it difficult.
Reaching the height of his jump Will spoke to himself, "That's my cue." Immediately afterwards he shot a web to the edge of the building he shot up from that was facing the street. He wrenched himself forward and went flying at the street with an accelerated speed. At his initial trajectory he would have crashed right into the ground so he shot another web a little to his right at a streetlight whipping around slightly sideways in pursuit of the car being chased. William was forced to let go and was in free-fall for a moment and spun another web connecting to a side building, using this swing to pass the police cars. There were a few more shots of web and swinging until Will finally was right above his target. He finally flew ahead to the point where he was in front of the speeding car. He was low enough to the ground in his swinging that there was a definite possibility that he could safely jump and land on the hood. Before he could seize that opportunity the guy turned at an intersection as an evasive maneuver. Will needed to think of something fast and an idea popped into his head. There was a park right there filling up the block. If he was right then the driver was going to turn and continue straight down that block alongside park. Using this assumption, he acted fast and dropped from his swinging to land in the park area. Even as he was swinging low the force from all the gathered speed would propel him forward.
Using that as a help he sprinted diagonally across the block and saw that the target car had indeed turned to drive up along it. With the help of his swinging speed Will was able to run his inhuman level right off the bat. This would mean he would be able to cut the guy off. He neared the end and quickly thought of an idea to stop the car. It got close enough and he scanned his surroundings, finding the perfect time to shoot his web. It attached to the car door and Will kept running so the strand would get stopped at two tree trunks and the pole of a street light. He pulled with all his might, throwing the accumulative force from his speed as he did so knowing the trees and light-pole would alleviate a lot of the weight involved and whip the car around to a screeching halt. Will made a slight breath of relief and raced towards the car that he forced to such a sudden stop. It seemed by the end of the stop the door the web was stuck to was ripped off allowing the car to skid a bit. Something like that was definitely enough to cause the air bags to react so he expected to find a stunned driver as he got there.
He made it to the car and was about to see if the person was injured but what he saw was a man getting out and holding a gun. He was about 15 ft away and Will was unsure what to do. He was usually able to dispose of a gun pretty quickly with his web but that was because he usually was making his move before the perpetrator pulled out the weapon. Since it was already being aimed at him he couldn't be sure of whether it was a hair-trigger or if the man was a skilled marksman. He just had a hardened expression, "Back off or I'll shoot!" Will would never allow an angry man with a gun to just run free so even in a predicament like this he had to hold his ground, "Sorry buddy. I'm not going anywhere, put down the gun." It was a few moments of tension then Will took a step forward. This made the gunner panic and fire a shot right for his left shoulder. Something that had never happened before began to unfold. It was like Will could see the bullet coming at a slower pace. He made a leaned to the right letting his left shoulder hang back and completely dodged it, 'Woah... This is fortunate.' The gunner was clearly stunned and as Will took another step he shot twice more, aiming for each shoulder this time. Will was completely in control, he let his body drop back like he had seen in the Matrix movie and brought his torso around and forward as they passed and started running at the man. His speed was ridiculous, letting him push the man's hand towards the ground as he shot so he could give him a clear uppercut.
This blow would nearly knock the man unconscious due to its placement and with the hand he used to push the gun down, Will shot at the barrel and wrenched it out from the gunner's hand. He then used his punching hand to shoot a strand at his jacket, wrapping it around his body so he couldn't fight. Using a couple more shots he managed to web the man to the car and the gun firmly to the hood with the insides of the barrel completely clogged with webbing. Will then turned and walked away, not fleeing the scene very urgently, "Hey! My name's Blackweb, tell all your friends about me when you get your time under lock! It's the least you could do since I just helped you get a little more famous!" His tone suggested some disinterest and he really didn't seem to interested in the situation anymore as he walked. The sirens that echoed the scene's background finally had the police arrive on the scene apprehending the crazy car guy also even spoke about looking for the one who apprehending him. The one thing that Will never understood was why the police always seem to think he was the bad guy. He decided it would be better to wonder about it another time since it was obvious he needed to run. He raced off with his new-found speed into a lurking alley and scaled up the stairwell, jumping and flipping up the metal structure and disappearing at the top. He continued his escape by swinging, climbing and hurdling up to taller and darker buildings. After he knew he was safe, Will sat on the edge of a 10 story building, letting his feet hang over as he thought about how interesting his life was.

| Ga igun was flying around the streets of New York, soaring through the skies, as he looked around for anything that could have gone wrong. "Wow, New York is unusually safe today? What's been going on here? I guess my showing up here made all the baddies get scared and stay indoors. Well, great that means everything will be good. Justice has filled the streets of New York, maybe that means I should move some where else, and help those streets too." He said, flying and twirling in the air above the buildings, as he smiled and looked down. He landed on top of a building, looking down, as he smiled. "New York, these may be my last days here. IT was nice, but its time for me to leave you. I'll always love you."

| Just sitting and minding his own business, Will noticed a figure flying in the air. He was not exactly sure who or what the flying thing was but it was most likely safe to assume it was some sort of super-being flying about. He landed on the roof of a building not too far away but enough of a distance that he would have to yell to get his attention. Unfortunately yelling wasn't something he was willing to do as Blackweb, it could attack some unwanted attention and be forced to run again, too much of a hassle. Even so he was vaguely interested in the figure that just landed. He made up his mind that he was going to get over to him and at least introduce himself, it's best to get to know as many as you can in the same line of work as yourself especially with Will's occupation so there are no confusions or anything when people's lives were on the line.
He leaned himself over and dropped forward, shooting out a web instantly at the street light ahead and kicked off the wall a specific way so he would whip around the side of the light instead of swinging straight at it. The crazy speed that was generated from the swinging motion rocketed him towards the unknown figure's building at an accelerated speed. He would have made a wicked crash landing on the rooftop but Will was able to avoid that by firing off another strand of web backwards, hitting the same street light and the stress on the web slowed him down, he let go before the force would pull him back and glided down to land with a skid on the roof.He noticed that the 'figure' he classified as earlier was a very muscular man, bulky even. He looked fierce but Will though he also looked like he was fresh out of a comic book convention and fought to contain a slight laugh at the thought. Since he didn't know this guy it was most likely better to see his temperament before openly joking about his appearance. He took the safe route and spoke with an average voice, "Hello." He expected a reasonable response but at this point he wasn't ready to make any assumptions.

| Gai Gun looked down at the city, as he saw the streets, not empty but actually for once calm, well in New York's standards. It was the usual arguements and bickering, and yelling. Road rage and traffic jams, but no crime. He smiled, as he looked down at the city, its lights making a bright shine that you could see from several states away. He was proud to clean up these streets, he was glad he could chip in and help the city.
He began to sense someone different then the regular civilians of New York, but this one was different, he had powers. He stood back up, and jumped up, and began to fly, and he floated, as he looked around. "Whose there?" He said under his breath, as he sighed, and began to stretch his arms. "Come out come out." he shouted, as he finally saw the person he had sensed from eariler, he looked at him, and tilted his head. He was confused why exactly he was coming from, but he shrugged and sat back down.
He heard him call for him, and he nodded and looked back. "Hey, what's up." He just kept it simple and low key, not wanting to really jump all the way into a conversation, this guy could have just be patrolling the city and didn't wanna stop by for a conversation.

| Will cocked his head his head back as he was given such a basic response. He then shook it slightly with a smile that was concealed by his mask, 'Why expect an answer any less simple than what you opened with... Nice going for least intelligent convo ever.' He just thought of something new to maybe say since he had at least gotten a response with his intro. He took a step back though, he could feel a slight nagging feeling but he couldn't exactly tell what it was. He disregarded it and thought of what to say, "Are you a regular in New York?" He didn't say anything after that and turned his body to face the streets and listened as he watched. The city seemed reasonably silent for just a moment. He looked back at the muscle-man and laughed slightly. After laughing he leaned over like normal, letting himself fall forward, this was his usual form of starting to make his way through the city but it may have been a surprise to the other man, he wasn't sure.
There was something very different about this time though. He dropped letting gravity take him but as he was about to work into a dive his drop halted. To the other guy it would look as if he fell over but his heels were sticking up, like his feet were stuck to the top of that wall. Will was beyond confused, 'Can this guy have some sort of binding ability or is it just me!?' He looked up to see as his feet were indeed sticking to the wall and the rest of his body was kind of dangling. It was in a fraction of a second that his feet stopped clinging and let him drop head-first. This wall had no stairwell at the side meaning he was going to land on his head in a free-fall if he did something about it. Thanks to his reflexes, William was able to quickly shoot two webs while fully extending his arms. The webs connected with either side of the alley created between the neighboring building and the one he was on. His body flipped around so it was right-side-up and pulled hard with his left hand as he let go with his right to fling himself back to the building he was standing on before. His initial plan was to grab a small hand-held and use his acrobatics to seamlessly free-run up the building once more. Unfortunately there seemed to be none in site so it was just a flat hand that touched the wall. He expected to skid down so with his left hand he readied himself to shoot another web. Strangely enough he didn't move at all, being held up by just his hands and the ends of his feet. Curious as to what was happening he placed his left hand higher on the wall. In unison he put his right up higher as well. He continued vice versa with his other limbs and proceeded to continue, scaling up a wall, wallcrawling like a spider would, 'Well, this is interesting.' He wasn't going too fast but he eventually made it to the top and hopped over. He spoke once more to his new acquaintance, "You wouldn't believe what just happened to me."

| Gai gun looked over at him, as he began to creep him out. His mask was strange, and he could tell he was some type of super powered being, but he didn't know what really he could do. Plus, he was just sitting there, he didn't know what exactly he was doing, he had his face covered and he was hiding his identity, so he couldn't really infer anything about him. Gai Gun simply looked at him with a confused look, only covered by half his mask, as he heard him speak again. "Yes, well I was. I'm thinking about leaving, its a little calm and boring here, not that much evil to squash. What about you?" He looked at him, as he stood up. He saw him fall off the building, as he jumped and started to fly looking at him, attempting to save him, but he was simply sticking to the wall.
"What the hell? Are you some kind of bug?" He asked rather rudely, as he looked at him, he began shooting webs and pulled himself back up. He raised an eye brow, as he was kind of impressed, but surprised by it all. He revealed all of his powers to him, which they all rather impressed him." Hey dude, your powers are pretty cool, I just saw all that. How about me and you do a little sparring, I wanna test out your abilities!" He said, as he smiled and got into a stance. | |
