Description: A basic principle of combat, studying and understanding foot movement. This allows the user to know exactly how to move their feet to allow them to move the exact distance they want. This would prevent someone from going too far forward or too far backwards when engaging or defending against an opponent. This is also the same with all directions, as well as when sliding the foot or actually lifting the foot off the ground would be more beneficial in the movement. In jumping, this also allows the user's feet to land exactly where and how the user wishes.

Description: A basic principle of combat, is posture. This allows the user to almost instantly retain any information on postures and stances for different styles, and how to stay in the exact same position for extended periods of time. Whether this be normal posture, such as back straight, arms to the side, or the hundreds of different postures when one is defending ones self. This allows the user to always have a perfect posture, to guard, parry, or strike an opponent fluently. This minimizes the openings in the guard of the user using proper posture.

Description: A basic principle of martial art, is judging distance. This allows the user to not only keep track of distance between him and his target, but allows them to know not only what techniques would reach the target at different distances, and also which techniques would be best suited for the distance between him and his opponent. This is also used to understand the angle of attacks, always knowing which techniques or strikes will hit at which angle, so that the attack doesn't fail, even if the distance between them is correct.

This allows the user to study an opponent, and determine where their center of balance is, and know which techniques or strike would disrupt them. Whether this actually be a physical strike, or if it is simply a feint or movement that makes them shift their center or make a mistake in their posture. This allows for easier exploitation of an opponent's guard and stance.

Description: A basic principle of martial art, entering ability. This allows the user to know exactly how to get within the perfect distance of an opponent to execute a strike, technique, or to guard against an opponent. This eliminates wasted movement, allowing flawless execution of their move. This can be anything from moving into arm length for an arm strike, or lowering their body and twisting for a hip throw. Regardless, there is no wasted movement.
