Appearance:
She dons a balaclava with the lower half of a skull hiding the, well, lower half of her face. It is not known why, but she wears it all the time, even when she's in casual clothing. She wears a pair of wire-frame rectangular glasses with dark-red lenses which often hide her eyes, though they are spotted to be dark brown on the rare occasions they are seen. On cold missions, she adorns a similarly tinted pair of glacier glasses. She leaves her hair in a short, messy cut, and she often makes it worse by ruffling it. The dark reddish-brown hair sticks up all over the place and is quite straight, leaving some strands to droop close to her eyebrows.
Her physique is slender, but well-toned. In all cases, she wears a chest binder to increase her mobility and reduce her curves.
She often has a lazy slouch when not on duty and leans on anything and everything. As long as it can stand, you can bet your father's Rolex she's going to lean on it. Don't mistake this for unattentiveness, though. Au contraire, she is rather much more alert when appearing not to be so.
Personality: ] Natasha follows orders like a good little puppy. A puppy which constantly spouts out derogatory remarks and sarcastic smack talk. Yes, Natasha is horribly sarcastic and sees no problem with criticizing anyone's mistakes. Screw up next to her, and you'll receive a ear-lashing of the century, though it's sometimes pretty funny to listen to her rant.
While she is intent to burn your house down, she is quite, however, humorous and easy to get along with, as long as she isn't on a job. She is always open for a drink or two, and will often offer discounts to people she knows when she's working as a butcher in her father's shop. As long as they aren't there to kill her. She will respond in kind if they are.
She is a daredevil by all rights, and even when something looks too tough, she makes it up by trying to punch that something in the face. Then resorts to stabbing it in the eye.
She can, however, delve into a rather dark version of herself, bent on the antagonistic ideals. She will not hesitate to put a bullet in the back of anyone's skull or bury an ice-pick into your eye, if you so much as toe the line. Friends, foes, she doesn't care.

Her limitations is that she requires a rather dimly lit environment. Shining a light at her also seems to work, though she might just stab you.

—Description: With extremely dextrous and quick hands, Gheist is able to pick up things within her reach and hide it out of view faster than the eye, and no one will notice it was gone until they take another good look. This overlaps with a 'quick draw' ability, allowing her to whip her handgun forwards, throw a knife, stab someone, or similar actions within the span of a blink.

—Description: The art of running away really fast and clearing all obstacles lying in her way. Allows her to scale walls twice her height, run on walls across gaps, leap over smaller gaps, and generally dodge any solid material that gets in her way. —Description: Gheist has memorized every single spot on a person's back, where if stabbed, shot, or wounded at that area, will either send them into permanent paralysis or instant death. Only works on NPCs, and PCs who want to be stabbed with a butterfly knife.

—Description: Gheist is able to slip into different costumes and assume a position as an innocent bystander or part of the SWAT team, etc. She removes her balaclava and glasses in these disguises, and often wears headgear, hats, helmets, etc, to cover her eyes. She is able to fool those who are too complacent. She is unable to switch disguises on the fly, and has to retain use of one disguise for the whole mission. That or she removes the disguise entirely and don her normal wear.

—Description: No matter what disguise she wears, she can blend in with the situation without raising suspicion. While trained eyes can easily make her out, her acting and her behaviour are almost impeccable and matches the 'persona' she plays.

—Appearance: An average butterfly knife. It has a black handle with the cursive words "Scythe" engraved on it. Otherwise, it is quite normal.

—Origin: A weapon that Gheist has been using for quite a while, she has had it ever since she picked up on her father's business, presumably given to her by her father himself, after he retired from the killing job.

—Appearance: A black M1911A with a 12-round clip, rather than a 7-round one. It has no special assortments other than that keychain on the bottom of the handle, just behind the magazine slot, which has a minuscule black lantern on it.

—Origin: Also a tool she was given from her father. She was the one that customized it to hold a 12-round clip, though.

The Background
|
History:
Not much is known about Gheist as Gheist herself, since she operates as a ghost and never seems to be actually there. However, pulling up files of Natasha Alcove seems to provide rather interesting information about her.
Her father was a popular client of the mobs and gangs: he was a cleaner, one who cleans up after the mess that the mentioned groups cause. However, this did not affect his family life, as he adored his daughter. As a single father, he had to and did it well. He brought her up as any normal father would, fetching her to and from school, taught her in her studies and occasionally brought her to work. It wasn't long before she picked up the trade herself at an age of 16. And still had time for her studies.
But dead bodies weren't that fun any more after a while. At 19, when she took up a forensics course, she told her father about it. Her father gave her a handgun and a butterfly knife and rang up one of his employers. Gheist was born from that single act, as unexplained murders and suicides began to erupt throughout the city. There was no trace of the killer, nor was there any implicating evidence to point a finger at anyone. When evidence did pop up, it would either go missing or it would lead to a dead end or a red herring.
At 21, she dropped out of her forensics study and went to work with her father in his butcher shop, Alcove's Chop Shop (We chop til they drop!)
