Appearance:
A red haired, red skinned, red eyed young woman that comes from a planet nowhere near our galaxy. Her hands consist of six fingers on each, same with her toes, and she stands to the height of 5'7. Her body is fit, yet contrary to her appearance, she weighs more than 500 pounds thanks to the dense energy she is created and composed of. Not being under control of her powers fully, there are moments where red sparks will line her body when stressed or in a horrid mood.
To avoid problems with humans who are not ready for an alien to walk amongst them, the head professor created a device that gives the alien girl a human appearance. In her human appearance her hair is dark as night, and her eyes are a dark hue of crimson. She sports a rocker attire, giving off the appearance of a bad girl, which she is in personality.
Personality:
Being an outcast of her world, Nyx traveled the many galaxies looking for a home that would accept her. When she came to Earth, she found herself wanting to fit in, but with the dirty looks she got on her arrival, she found herself even more distant in life. Being so emotionally distraught even caused an entire city to lose power, as she lost control of her own and began to drain their energy against her will. Luckily before any problems escalated she was found by a professor who had a school for people like herself. The man is probably the only man she has ever trusted throughout the universe, and he promised to help her understand her mutation, even if she wasn't human. And although she respects him with all of her heart, it doesn't stop her from being a pain in the ass to everyone else. Even though she's a powerhouse, she's also a trouble maker and has been watching too many gang movies, getting a false idea of what human life and teenage angst really is.

—Main Power: Raix'eren - Being born on a different planet entirely, the Raixe'eren people are a race of people born from pure energy. The people are able to absorb their element and strengthen their own abilities, strength and health. In this case, it is a lightning charge that gave birth to Nyx. Unlike the lightning of Earth, the lightning of Raixe'eren are composed of a high amount of electrons that would be virtually unstable when used by earthlings. This makes their lightning more destructive, as it has explosive properties when used with certain abilities. The lightning controlled from Nyx is different, as it is red and does not strike as fast as light, but it does give her complete control of shape and power, when forming her bolts. And although this does not seem like a big deal to most, she was immediately labeled as a freak [mutant] on her home world which led to her running away to learn how to control her power and be less "freakish". In old legend, Earthlings believed the Raixe'eren were enraged when ever lightning storms plagued the Earth.

Description:
The user gathers bolts of red lightning to their hands/feet/eyes and fires it at a speed of 60mph as multiple branches of sparks and lightning. This burst stretches out to 7 meters forward and wide from the user, and if it comes into contact with a person or living entity, it directly stimulates the pain receptors of their body, making them feel a pain 2x worst than they've ever felt before. Those who are invulnerable are also vulnerable to this attack, as it doesn't physically harm someone, and virtually they can not die from it. Even with dulled pain receptors, this technique reactivates them, and gives the victim the most shocking pain of their life. The amount of pain is crippling and causes those to fall and yell in agony, lasting three posts unless the user continues to fry them with the attack, making it last as long as they hold the charge over them. On the Raix'eren planet this was used as a torture method, but was long banned as it seemed disturbing to use on their own kind. Nyx was almost banned from the planet for using the method once in a training exercise, before she was identified as a mutant.

The Background

History:
Born from a flash of celestial lightning, Le'ukeh was brought into the world as a red mass of energy. Different from the brothers and sisters of her home planet, she would soon leave to find a world that didn't differentiate on appearance, skill, or over all presence. It took years for her to finally come across Earth, and the giant blue ball of a planet didn't seem any different from her own. In a fit of rage and depression, the alien accidently caused a power outage throughout a whole city, not having full control of her power. Before the matter escalated and she was chased off the planet, the young mutant alien would meet a professor. He offered her guidance, and a chance at learning to control her power so she could return back home and be proud of who she was. At first the young alien didn't believe him, but with no other choice she would trust him and go to his school. On arrival, she was given a device that allowed her to change her appearance at will. Simply to blend in with the rest of the students. He didn't believe she needed it, but he felt the pain of being different stemming from her, and simply gave her to devise to calm her mind. Being a student, and watching as many videos as she could to understand the human life, Nyx has found herself playing the role of a punk rocker chav. It's safe to say the videos she got her hands on weren't very accurate nor recent.
