Golden Gate Park

Entering the park, Remy slowed down her jog to a relaxing walk as she looked all around her and up into the big beautiful trees within the wonderful Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. This was by far one of her most favorite places in the entire city because she was able to be completely surrounded by nature and people, but at the same time vanish into a world all her own. Turning every so often to keep ushering Axel to follow her, she weaved through the people jogging and walking their dogs who would occasionally give Axel and odd stare for carrying someone, but Remy was always there to give a reassuring smile. And who wouldn't believe a sweet smile like hers?

Eventually the path ended and into the "forest" they went. A path Remy had marked out all her own with small pieces of paper nailed to the trees. Whether or not Axel would notice these small blank sheets mattered not to Remy for she was happy to have new friends to talk to. As she continued on, a small clearing opened up and in the middle of this wonderful oasis was a small pond. Around the pond were a few tree stumps to sit on which Remy quite happily jumped on to and patted the one next to her for Axel to join her. Smiling up at him she finally spoke. "Welcome to my own little wonderland. Completely secluded so we should be ok here and if he goes all crazy again, at least we are far away enough from anyone getting hurt.....well except for us I guess." At the end of her sentenced she chuckled a bit and sat her backpack down on her right side.

Axel jogged along with Remy through the city till they would finally reach a park.  A sea of green is what it looked like.  An abundance of life.  There were several people occupying the park, looking at her and Axel for one obvious reason or another.  Axel  paid them little mind and just made the effort to keep an eye out for the authority figures or worse, the men in black.  

"Men in black" referred to men or women that don't don an obvious uniform representing the law.  They may be affiliated or not.  One thing remains consistent amongst them all, they're out for personal gain are almost always above the law.  They had many ways to get what they wanted with the use of money and power.  The law was child's play for them.

Anyway, eventually Axel and Remy would enter a forest.  Axel could only assume that Remy came here often with the ease of which she navigated through the trees.  It felt like they were following a common path.  They would come upon a clearing and a pond and that's where the journey would end. Axel looked around and admired the wonderland as Remy called it.  He could definitely see the appeal.

"Right. Well I guess we could wake him up, now," Axel would say confidently.  He had a plan in mind that should keep the guy from rampaging.  At least long enough for them to ask questions and figure out what's going on.

Axel would lay the guy down on the ground.  He would look over at Remy giving a reassuring smirk in case she was nervous.  Axel would then place his hand on the unconscious guy.  His eyes would glow gold as he would do so.  What no one would be able to see is that Axel would manipulate the man's emotions to the point that he would have an extreme feeling of CALM.  Nothing would be able to stir his emotions to stress or anger or even sadness, just relaxation.  He would also have an illogical sense of trust in Axel and Remy for reasons he wouldn't be able to explain.  He would be so trusting that he would gladly share his deepest, darkest secrets with them if asked.  This would only apply to Axel and Remy however and this all would be temporary.

"Okay there. That should buy us some time to get some answers without him becoming violent,"  Axel would say as he would look at Remy with a smile, his eyes returning to their natural color.  "Time to wake up."  Axel would wink at Remy and then proceed to raise his hand and slap the man with half his strength to wake him up.  He already knew the guy was durable, so he didn't fear hurting him.  And he didn't have to worry about the guy waking up angry either.

Axel would then take a step back in hopes that was enough to stir the guy from sleep.

There he was, Logan!. He heard water and for one reason or another he really had to use the bathroom but that is besides the point. The water he heard made Logan wake up. Slowly his eyes began to open. Sitting up Logan began to rub his cheek "Why the hell does my face hurt" said Logan. Standing up slowly he began to wobble before falling in the pond. "The fuck am I wearing" said Logan as he was still a little dazed and confused and in pain. Turning around he'd see a man and a woman. This one guy looked like he wanted David Beckhams job at H&M the woman tho. She exuded beauty like no other. Looking at her for a good moment Logan began to speak as he turned to the dude "Who the hell are you and what THE HELL AM I WEARING" said Logan in the calmest voice he could..> He felt calm for some reason. And at this moment his hair turned back to black and the outfit vanished causing him to appear in nothing more then some ripped spandex it seemed.. They had a giant M logo on them but Logan wasn't aware of his change yet.

Axel felt a bit of excitement as the young guy started to wake up. Axel watched on carefully, hoping his power would keep this guy from going on another rampage. He was 99% sure it would work but one could never be too sure in the face of strangers. He heard the guy express pain in his face and Axel couldn't help but smirk. The guy stumbled around a bit and didn't seem to recognize his own attire. Axel had to recall, the guy wasn't wearing it until he started shouting something about "Father". Who or whatever that was. Axel watched the guy fall into the pond and soon after, the blue and white hair vanished. He was left in what he had originally appeared in, tattered shorts and black hair.

"Uhh..." Axel started, folding his arms across his chest as he tried to think of the best way to explain things and how to also get answers. "Well, for starters my name is Axel, which I've told you before," he would say matter-of-factly. "And this here is Remy. She's the one that brought us here."

Axel would take a moment to let at least his name register in the mind of the guy. To see if it would trigger any extreme emotions or a smart remark. He recalled that the guy was full of them during their brief bout.

"As for what you're wearing. Uhh, nothing really. Which is the weird thing." He would say casually since the guy didn't seem to realize his attire had changed since he asked the question. "So, our question is...who and what are you exactly?" Axel would ask. He was really curious.

Remy watched on with intrigue as Axel placed his hand on the man's head after telling her that they could wake him up now. She crossed her right leg over her left and placed her chin on her fist smiling while Axel made his move. She noted the change in the color of his eyes as he did this and wondered what exactly was going on. Rather than ask however, she just silently watched. It didn't take long before Axel proclaimed that he was done and proceeded to slap the poor man. Remy let out a small giggle, not able to keep it in but kept watching to see what would happen. Eventually the man began to stir and once again began with his questions like before. He really had such a terribly fowl mouth, but when he fell into the water, Remy jumped up and ran over to the edge of the pond laughing out loud. "Are you ok?" Remy inquired, but as the man turned to once again yell asking who they were, his outfit changed and this time he was in nothing but some tattered shorts.

Remy wanted to respond to his question, but was taken aback by his new appearance and simply stood staring at him while Axel spoke for her introducing them both. When he finished speaking, Remy blinked herself back into this world and mumbled "Yea...I'm Remy nice to meet you" before reaching out her hand to help the man out of the water, but continuing to stare at his water soaked abs.

In the water still confused Logan watched as the beautiful black haired woman ran over and started laughing as she asked if he was okay. Still blushing every time he looked at her Logan showed a bit "THIS ISN'T FUNNY" His voice going from calm to Angry back to back in that sentence before he took a step back and turned around.

Still prancing around trying to make sense of what the hell he was wearing Logan heard the background chatter which came from the H&M fellow who revealed his name to be Axel.. Why did that name sound so familiar. It was like Logan was having Deja Vu or something. He said he told Logan his name before but the young man had no recollection of even seeing this guy before today. "Hey man not to sound mean but before today I never met you.. So how you told me your name is beyond me" said Logan before he turned around to Axel and the woman he revealed to be Remy who he said brought them there. "Uhh thanks Remy.... I guess?"

When the guy said Logan wasn't wearing much Logan looked down before realizing he was nearly completely naked around this beautiful woman in the form of Remy before he jumped back in the pond covering himself up. "Sorry about this Remy" said Logan as he began to blush.

As he sat in the pool for a moment Logan thought for a second "Wait, Where the fuck did those clothes go" before he started looking around for them.

Looking for the clothes in the pond Logan heard Axel talking and he asked a weird question. He asked Logan who he was and what he was for that matter. Logan stopped looking for his clothes at that moment and began to look at Axel with the most serious facial expression he could muster "My name is Logan and what do you mean what am I? Last I checked I'm Human." The first half said in confusion while the second half being said in irritation. Logan wasn't sure what to make of this.

Axel watched and listened carefully, taking note of nearly everything about both Remy and Logan.  Remy seemed so comfortable around them.  Had she come in contact with supers before?  She even seemed a bit...fond of Logan.  Or was that the usual girly charm?  And Logan, now that he wasn't angry and having a bitch fit, seemed timid.  Or was that just toward Remy?  Axel would shake his head and let out a sigh as he would find a seat on one of the tree stumps.  He would put his hands together, interlocking his fingers and look down at the ground for a moment as he tried to make sense of things.

Logan was unaware of his powers it seemed believing himself human.  However recent past events would prove that false.  Logan wasn't human, at least not completely.  Axel was even ready to rule out mutant because what mutant power would call down lighting for a full wardrobe change and hair dye.  He had to be one high maintenance mutant and Axel just wasn't getting that vibe from Logan.  He was too...jock-like.  Axel couldn't think of any reason Logan would lie to them, especially since he Pushed him to be calm and trusting.  Although, he was sensing the calm about to wear off with the way he talked.  Did that mean the trust was wearing off too?  

"Okay, this is awkward."  Axel would stand up and look at both Remy and Logan and force a smile.  [color=orange]"How about I just cut to the point because I really don't feel like doing this the long way.  You Logan, are NOT human.  Simply for the fact that you went on a rather unnecessary rampage downtown and caused a bunch of destruction," he began to explain starting to pace in front of the stump.

"I will take part of the blame there, since I was trying to stop you and while trying to do so had to toss you through a few buildings.  WHICH, you survived, adding to the fact that you're NOT human.  How was I able to do that?  I'm special. They call people like me mutants because we carry the mutant-X gene in our dna." Axel would occasionally look at Logan to see if he was following.

"Now, Remy here came and helped put a stop to our little fight and then you collapsed, making it easy for us to bring you here.  Those clothes you WERE wearing, those came from the sky in a bolt of lightning after you came from beneath the ground downtown and started babbling."  

Axel would stop pacing and look at both Remy and Logan with a serious face.  "And now, they're gone. Voila, magic.  So you sir, you're not human...not entirely at least."  Axel would stare at Logan to see if he got it but he also needed to address one more thing.  "Oh and YOU!" He would point at Remy accusingly.  "I get the feeling this isn't your first time.  You're not a SUPER virgin at all, are you?" Axel would ask her boldly.  He was very aware of how he worded the question, it was part of the humor but he felt she was smart enough to read between the lines and know what he was really asking.

Remy smiled and laughed a bit more as the man who would later introduce himself as Logan blushed and looked quite unhappy with Remy's behavior. He didn't take her hand however, choosing to stay within the pond so she stood up and sat back down on the tree stump next to her backpack. She enjoyed watching Logan confused and unsure of himself because it made him so....cute. A very different person than the man who had caused so much pain and destruction back in the city. Something about this man was drawing Remy to him. She felt connected....like she had to be with him but sure wasn't sure why. Once again blushing, Logan apologized for his attire which caused Remy to blush herself and look away "Don't worry about it" she said off to the side trying not to stare.

She looked over at Axel now who had asked Logan an interesting question about what he was and then turned her attention back to Logan as he answered. Human? she thought to herself as he answered Axel's inquiry. It appeared that he had no recollection of the events that had just happened. Maybe that was for the better though, but before Remy could change the subject Axel continued on. He began to explain to Logan the entirety of the events in the city and not in the nicest of ways causing Remy to frown at the two boys. He did mention that he was a mutant himself though, which made sense considering what she saw happening during their fight. She was staring at Logan's abs again before Axel's voice snapped her out of her trance and she looked over at him. She thought this was going to be all about Logan and his powers not about her.

He pointed at her and pointed out how calm she was being in this situation implying that this wasn't her first time experiencing people with powers. True enough, being a mutant herself she was familiar with not being entirely....human. She had refrained from using her powers during her time with them so far and had no plans to reveal that she even had powers anytime soon. It wasn't exactly something she just willy nilly used. Especially not in front of two extremely attractive guys. What came out of Axel's mouth next however, completely caught Remy off guard. A super virgin? she thought as she stared up at Axel with a shocked look in her face before blushing and standing up angrily. "What kind of question is that! You don't just ask a girl something like that! Who do you think you a..." Her voice rose with each of the words she spoke, but it was clear she was embarrassed and not angry because she was backing away from Axel as she spoke and her face was as red as an apple. What she didn't realize though in her confusion was that she was backing up right into the pond so before she could finish chastising Axel she slipped on the mud at the edge and fell into the water with a scream. "Ahh!"

This had to top the list of weird things that have happened to Logan. There have been weird things. Like his allergy to gold and his horrible ability to swim. But nothing beat this. After answering the questions asked by Axel Logan could tell Axel didn't believe him especially when he made mention of how awkward everything had grew. Standing up smiling Logan didn't know what the hell Axel was about to do because well he seemed 5 screws loose from being a serial killer. He then went on to say Logan isn't human because he was downtown earlier and caused major destruction a rampage of sorts. This made Logan thing for a second. The last thing he remembered were some guys stopping him on the highway and taking him. He didn't see them when he awoke so he figured these guys freed him from his captors.

Standing there in awe Logan was lost for words. Axel would then go on to say he was trying to stop Logan and in the process tossed him through a few buildings which made no sense since Logan looked perfectly fine meanwhile Axel looked like someone tossed him through a glass window or something. After that he said he himself was a mutant which explained how he was able to stop Logan. This really made no sense. "That... Makes sense..." said Logan. He was processing his thoughts. The flashes of things he could remember. It was something in a lab. They were talking about his father. They took him to begin with because of his father. Whoever his father was he played a large part in whatever was going on. Continuing on Axel said Remy came and managed to stop the two from fighting because Logan himself collapsed which led to them bringing him here.

Meanwhile this entire time Axel was pacing back and forth while he gave his speech. Logan was confused right now. This made no sense. IF this was true how did he acquire such abilities he never knew he had? While processing all of this information Logan noticed Axel turn his attack to Remy who seemed a little off notice by this. She wasn't ready for this but she obviously knew something. She just wasn't trying to say what it was. Each step with her respond led her closer to the pond where Logan was standing in until she eventually slipped on some mud leading to the edge falling over into the pond with Logan right there yo catch her with both arms, Essentially cradling her. Logan was blushing very hard as he looked at Remy and then Axel "Okay. If this is all real, How come I just now got these powers and not before? And how do I use them??" Genuinely confused Logan wanted answers.

Axel's eyes widened in surprise from Remy's response to his question. How could she not see what he was really asking? There was even emphasis on the word "super". Perhaps he had given her too much credit in being smart. No matter, her reaction was funny regardless. Axel couldn't stop himself from laughing at her, especially when she fell in the pond. But behold, Logan came to her rescue and caught her.

"Oh that's just adorable..." Axel would say as he looked at the two of them in the water.

Logan would proceed to ask questions of his own. However these were questions Axel himself could not answer as fact. He could only make assumptions and that was no good if not tested. Axel would sigh and resume to sit on the tree stump.

"Now how the hell am I supposed to know?" Axel would ask seriously, staring Logan in the eyes over the short distance that separated them. "Buuuuuuuttt, if I had to guess...I'd say it has something to do with those clothes you had on before. They came down from the sky in a ball of lightning." Axel stared on at Logan, trying to think back to what lead up to the moment. Logan had been shouting, something about "Father". Was that it?

"Logan, who is your father?" Axel looked on curiously as he waited the answer, his hands clasped together.

Slipping into the pond was not part of plan when she brought these two here and neither was ending up in the arms of the one who had caused all that destruction in the city. Her hands rested gently on his chest as she stared at her hands for a moment and his body at the same time. Eventually she looked up at him as he continued to talk to Axel who made a joke about how adorable they were which caused Remy to instantly push off and turn her back to Logan as she made he way out of the pond blushing bright red. Axel then began asking about Logan's father. What did his father have to do with this? she wondered. There was clearly something she was missing probably occurring during the time they were talking and Remy couldn't hear them.

Remy was quite aware of what Axel meant with his original line of questioning for her, but she wasn't ready to tell them about herself. This was there first time meeting and although there was an odd set of circumstances, her power wasn't important at the moment. She began to shake herself off and squeeze the water out of her jeans before sitting back down on the stump she was originally on next to her backpack. Her mind began to drift as she wondered what was in store for the trio who were only just getting to know one another. As she sat thinking and processing she noticed how quiet it had gotten. That's odd she thought mainly because one the reasons she loved this spot was because you hear the wonderful sounds of the park without being seen. The other two probably wouldn't notice the sudden silence seeing as they had never been here before. Looking over at Axel suddenly Remy spoke up before Logan would have a chance to answer his question.

"Axel you said you were a mutant. What exactly is your power then?" Her confidence was clear in her questioning resembling the way in which she spoke to them back in the city. Her blue eyes looked directly at him as she awaited a response.

It seemed Logan was trying to make sense of everything that was going on and he couldn't even do that. Axel was playing Sherlock Holmes and well.. Remy was being Remy whom happened to fall into Logan's arms causing him to blush. When Logan said how adorable the duo were together instantly Logan wanted to throw her like a football but she moved fast enough on her own getting up and out of the water. Logan chuckled a bit before he heard Axel mumbling off something about the ball of lightning and then the question Logan had no answer to which was who is his father. "Good question, When you find out tell me. But what the hell does that have to do with anything?" said Logan in a confused but annoyed voice. He was growing weary with this interrogation and Remy could tell as she deflected the attention from Logan to Axel with a question of her own abut his status as a mutant "Good question Remy" said Logan who smirked a bit keeping his eyes on Axel.

Axel was noticing so much, yet still getting no where with his investigation. He could see that these two were fond of each of other, even if they couldn't see it. It was cute, but not what Axel cared about right now. He wanted to know what was up with these two, especially Logan who answered his questions in a way that fitted him. He didn't know his father. Yet back then, he had been...shouting to the sky about his father as if he was speaking to someone. Was he speaking to someone? Before Axel could give it more thought, Remy had asked him what his power was and Logan seemed interested as well.

Now he was the person of interest. It made sense. Logan didn't remember and Remy witnessed it but his power has no obvious explanation that one could know just by seeing.

"My power? Well Remy, you saw it. I control furniture," he would say sarcastically. He would let it hang in the air as one who uses sarcasm would when baiting a reaction.

"But no, seriously. You want to see my power? Again. Okay I'll show you." Axel's tone of voice would seem foreboding and his voice slightly deeper as he would stand slowly. "Okay. Just watch this," he would say as he would slowly raise his hands toward the sky. His eyes would be closed as he did this and ironically, a strong breeze would flow through the area adding a certain flare to this moment aesthetically. And then, as all was quiet and if they were watching those following seconds, Axel would start to make this almost choking noise as he fought to hold his laughter. Then finally Axel would give and drop his hands to his side, opening his eyes to see how serious their faces were in hopes that he would reveal something. Hopefully they wouldn't disappoint.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. I've always wanted to do something like the movies, when asked to show my powers," he would say in hope they would laugh along. He genuinely was finding the moment hilarious. But he knew he would have to get serious if he wanted to really know these people and if he wanted them to trust him. They had already seen his power at work once, the fact that he was a mutant was out, so why hide it.

"Alright, now seriously." Axel's voice really did change this time. It was stern and almost void of compassion. It was different from his casual and carefree tone he had been using before and a noticeably different than the one he used jokingly. This was a glimpse of what Axel could be like when completely serious, something people will pick up when around him long enough. Axel's eyes would begin to glow a vivid gold color as his feet would begin to levitate off the ground. It would seem so effortless. He willed it and so it shall be. No hand gestures or poses like the movies, that was only when one wanted to make an entrance and be flashy. This wasn't one of those moments for him. He would just rise in the air about 5 meters and maintain the height. Then Axel would look around and see a few fallen branches and sticks. He would have these objects levitate and orbit quickly around his body, just as a very small demonstration of his control.

"This is just one of my powers. So what's yours Remy?" Axel's serious voice would be maintained as he would look down at Remy. He wasn't sure if she actually had any special powers but this was the perfect opportunity to cut right to the point and see if she did. He also hadn't forgot about Logan's situation and was beginning to plan out something that might solve today's mysteries. But first, he needed to hear Remy's response.

Remy sat on the stump content in her position as she awaited Axel's reply. When he did reply saying he could control furniture, she could barely contain the chuckle that escaped her mouth. Having a power like that would be pretty funny, but vague in the sense of how you describe furniture. Maybe that wouldn't be such a bad power after all she thought. but quickly turned her attention back to Axel as his voice took on a much more serious tone. Her eyes widened as he put his hands to the sky and the wind began to blow around them. She continued looking at him wide eyed and intently clearly enjoying the show and wondering what type of amazing power he was going to keep displayed to them. This however was a trick and as Axel started laughing, she grabbed a branch and tossed it at him laughing a bit herself as she spoke. "That wasn't funny! I was really starting to believe you!"

She sat back down as he clearly became more serious and this time as he began to levitate it was clear that he was telling the truth. Some fallen branches quickly drifted up to his being and began to orbit around him as a small word escaped her mouth "wow" she whispered as she watched him use his ability. It seemed to be telekinetic in nature, but she wouldn't be sure unless he fully explained. He looked down from his height and then asked Remy about her powers, and as she prepared to respond she once again noticed now that there was no sound coming from anywhere. That was really odd which caused her to ask the two about the situation before responding. "Ok does it sound much quieter than when we got here or is it just me? The park is generally much louder." She looked around, but they were too deep to be able to see anyone anyway, but there should still be sounds of some sort. The sound of activity anyway.

Axel looked at Remy, waiting for her response but would instead receive a new concern. She made mention of how quiet it was and Axel had not even noticed the silence. He had been too wrapped up in solving the mystery that was Logan. Axel would come down from the air, landing with a soft thud on both feet. The branches and sticks that he had manipulated also dropped to the ground.

"Now that you mention it. It is pretty quiet," Axel would say as he read the concern on Remy's face. He would look toward Logan who himself seemed either oblivious or in deep thought. What was going on?

Were the feds onto them? Or was it the men in black? Axel didn't like this feeling he was getting now and was on his guard. "Should we go check it out?" Axel would ask Remy, wondering what her thoughts were. She knew more about this park than he did.

RUFF RUFF RUFF!!!!! Alex opened his eyes to find himself face to face with an 80 pound dog sitting on his bed barking in his face. He didn't even have to roll over to know that it was 7am. This was his everyday. His dog would come and wake him like clockwork every single day at seven am. His wife was already downstairs making breakfast with the smell wafting up into the room. Mmmmm waffles today he thought as he made his way to the bathroom for his morning piss with his dog sitting obediently at the door waiting for him to finish. Was it weird that his dog watched him take a piss every morning? Oh well. He finished up and grabbed the leash after throwing his robe on and hooked it up the chain on the dogs neck, then headed downstairs. "Well good morning my love" Hannah said as she looked at Alex come down and kiss their 9 month old daughter Piper on the top of her head. He smiled at her and walked over quickly to embrace her from behind while she cooked and kissed her neck gently. "Did I ever tell you how much I like waking up and seeing you in nothing but a bra and those very very see through...." rather than finish his sentence he began kissing her neck furociosuly while she laughed and swatted at him. "Oh get out of here you! You're going to make me burn the waffles!" "Oh and we definitely wouldn't want that happening now would we? But then again...it wouldn't be the first time." He turned her around around quickly and began to kiss her lips as his hand slipped into her underwear causing her to moan. Just as she was starting to get into it, he stopped and turned away grabbed the dog and heading for the door. "Alex!" He turned back to her with a big grin on his face "Just a theory I was testing out. I call it...blue ovaries!" and before she could reply he was out of the house and on his morning walk with the dog.

8:30am now. Running late, Alex came bounding down the stairs in his uniform with Hannah, carry Piper, waiting for him at the front door. "I sure love a man in uniform." she said with a wink as he walked over and kissed her deeply. "And I love you...and you" Alex said as he kissed his daughter on the head once more. 25 minutes later and Aelx sauntered into the precinct assuming that today was going to be a day like any other. That was not the case. As soon as he got into the building it was clear that something was wrong. Other officers were running around like mad men shouting orders and prepping as if they were about to go to war. The sheer amount of arsenal that his fellow officers were putting together was enough to battle the whole dam city if need be. It wasn't long before his captain walked over to him to give him an update. "Officer McDaniel! Two Mutants were observed in the city earlier today causing widespread damage and injuring multiple officers in the process. They then fled the scene with a woman believed to be a human as she was witnessed calming the two down before leading them away. At this time she is considered dangerous, but is to be brought back alive if possible. The other two are shoot on sight. Move out!" So much information and so little time for processing that information, but Alex was a seasoned cop and moved quick.

The mutants and human were last seen within Golden Gate Park and so the park was completely cleared out to avoid any civilian casualties should anything happen. Alex now sat in a tree 50 meters from the targets who were all in sight and completely surrounded by 6 snipers and 100 other officers equipped with rifles, shotguns, grenades, tear gas, tasers, and a plethora of other handy tools. The order had changed to observe for the time being and a small "ant" had moved in order to listen to their conversation. "But no, seriously. You want to see my power? Again. Okay I'll show you. Okay. Just watch this,I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. I've always wanted to do something like the movies, when asked to show my powers, Alright, now seriously. This is just one of my powers. So what's yours Remy?" He seemed like a normal person...but what he was able to do...what Alex saw made it very clear that this one was a mutant. Did the girl have a power as well though? The man in the water had already been confirmed as the primary target and orders to kill the floating one were coming in now as well. Alex's target was the man in the water and so that was who he was focusing on. "Ok does it sound much quieter than when we got here or is it just me? The park is generally much louder." Why did she have to say that? Alex didn't enjoy the killing aspect of his job and this girl seemed sweet. Hopefully she would survive this. The order was given just after the floating fellow finished talking. "Should we go check it out?" His last thought was what his wife and daughter were doing right now and the hope that he would get to see them at the end of the day. Alex aimed. Fired.

Remy frowned as Axel confirmed her suspicion of how quite it had gotten. She stood up as she looked around, but saw and heard nothing. She eventually turned to look at Logan and it was only for a split second, but she saw the red dot on his heart. She heard Axel speaking, but her body moved as if controlled by some god given force as she ran and stood in front of Logan looking right into his eyes with her arms spread horizontally completely protecting him as the words tried to escape her mouth in a shrill whisper. "Ru...." but the word was never spoken as the bullet tore through back going through her and still aiming for Logan. The force of the bullet hitting her caused her body to violently spin and crash into the water at Logan's feet. Her blue eyes looked up at Logan as her vision began to blur and fade away. She didn't even register the pain coursing through her entire body as she could only wonder and pray that Logan and Axel were able to escape and that they didn't harm anyone in the process. She hoped that her talk earlier had at least made the aware of how their actions affect the lives of others and the importance of all human lives. Her eyes closed and everything went black.

The moment he pulled the trigger, he knew the girl would block the bullet. If Alex was lucky it would be a through and through and still hit the man he was aiming for in the heart. That however was only the first of their plan. The moment the sound of his gun rang through the air, 6 canister came flying with it. 3 of them were simply smoke grenades to blind the targets, while the other 3 consisted of tear gas which would cause the three targets to undergo extreme pain if they kept their eyes open for even a second. Pain strong enough to even prevent moving. The officers were all fitted with gas masks and goggles to be able to track the body heat of the targets and moved in with their rifles firing hundreds and hundreds of bullets at both Axel and Logan. There were no words. These two had tried to kill fellow officers and for that they would be treated in the most violent of ways. Alex stayed perched with the other snipers as he and they all looked through their scopes tracking the targets movements specifically and alerting the rest of the officers by way of radio of any movements. This should be over quick.

Axel was waiting for a response from Remy when a red glow, subtle but noticeable, would catch his eye. A target on Logan's chest. It would seem that at the same time Remy also noticed for she would begin to move in front of him to shield him from what they both knew was coming. However, Axel was reacting at the same time, if not quicker than Remy due to natural skill. Axel would turn on a dime, toward the logical location for the red bead just as the shot was fired. His eyes glowing gold all the while as his body would become more durable through conscious will, something that would go unnoticed for the most part.

Axel would wield massive telekinetic energy, figuratively like a wave of his hand. His focus on the known incoming bullet as it would meet with this force and curve it's way around an arch that would get close to Remy and Logan but touch neither as it would continue on its course. The bullet would fly into another section of the surrounding forest and hit an unexpecting officer in the neck. That officer would drop to the ground prompting those few nearest him to halt in their plan to attend to his unexpected status.

Meanwhile, six objects consisting of grenades and tear gas would tinker in the air as they would soar toward their thrown destination. Axel would quickly make an attempt seize all 6 simultaneously with his power and reverse their trajectory onto the moving officers. This second unexpected event would also confuse some of the officers nearest the returned cannisters and especially those that threw them.

Yet none of this would stop the other officers, oblivious to what went wrong in their team's tactic as they would open fire from their rifles. Axel would pick several, about 30 of the 100, officers randomly and use his power to turn the aim of their guns onto the other officers sporadically. This would cause MANY of the officers to succumb to friendly fire being severely wounded. Some would even take fatal shots. Some bullets of course would still find their way toward Axel, Logan and Remy. It was unavoidable. However NOWHERE near as many as they police squad would have planned. Not even for long as they all would quickly either fall due to wound or death, or simply cease fire out of confusion. The officers who's guns had been taking control of by Axel would probably be the most confused, either stopping their fire or letting go of their weapon.

Axel would take a few shots but his body would be able to endure and his focus and use of power would remain unwavering. Axel was on a warpath. His life had been threatened and the force used against him excessive. They had no intent of letting him live, so why should he spare theirs? Axel's temper would flare so violently, that his power would react just the same. His body would rise in the air and any guns able would be picked up by him and orbit around him. He would hover above both Remy and Logan and the trigger of all guns he was capable of manipulating would be pulled and bullets would rain down on any moving officers in Axel's vision as his body would rotate. This would go on until the clips were empty or he was stopped.

Okay, So there was Logan waiting for Axel to show what his power was if he actually had one because as of right now Logan was still having a hard time believing all of this stuff. He kept doing odd things. The first time he just insisted he moved furniture which actually made Logan chuckle a bit because if that was really his power then well.. Yea Logan didn't know what to say to a man that moves furniture he could do that on bad day half sleep.  Once Axel assured the duo of Remy and Logan he would show them his real ability the two were eager to see what it was and then he got all serious and what not just to start laughing causing Logan to face-palm himself because he actually fell for it. Once more Axel would promise to show his power and when he really did wow was Logan shocked and at this moment memories began to come back to him and a flash in his mind his memories cut off "Son" said a figure in the clouds covered. All you could make out was his glowing blue eyes.
