Amen has short dark black hair streaked in blue highlights with his bangs swept to the side of his face. He has blue eyes that are normally half closed; when they are fully open, it usually means he is hiding behind his mask(level headed visad that he puts up to hide his true nature). He wears a private academy winter uniform, which consists of a white T-shirt, a black long sleeved jacket, and black slacks. In addition, he wears a ring on his left thumb with the Valcon symbol to control his powers, and a glove over the same hand to further restrict himself. Occasionally he wears a black long coat instead of his jacket.

Amen at his surface is a very laid-back person who does things at his own pace, evident when by not wearing a watch and removing the time dial from his phone his remarks were that "he hates to be bound by time and thus does not carry a watch or cellphone. The sort of guy who sleeps for 12 hours a day and still sleeps for more when free". He has a habit of yawning when something serious is being discussed, and tends to beat around the bush. Considered "lackadaisical and never gives a straight answer", he is, however, someone who has strength, greatness, and intelligence to boast his reputation as the male heir to the Blackthorn/Valcon legacy. Behind the exterior, however, lies a tormented soul filled with rage and anger unlike any other. His sister upon first meeting him stated that Amen had a madness of those glittering eyes, and fangs of a mad dog hidden beneath the mask of a righteous one. He also gets very excited when people display powerful abilities that can provide a challenge. He can also be quite manipulative when required to only using force in extreme measures. Also the few times he ever reveals something, he often happens to have ulterior motives. He doesn't care too much about his bloodline or his role in it however he is too lazy to take charge and has a deep respect for his twin sister. Often called "The Prince" a name he despised from day one he cringes at the thought of any responsibility he might gain and hopes his sister will just inherit it all.

Main Power: Heat Manipulation-User can create, shape and manipulate heat by increasing the kinetic energy of atoms and thus making things hotter, ranging from subjective feeling of heat to Absolute hot.

Main Power: Spectrum Fire Manipulation-The user has the power of Spectrum fire; the rarest, purest, if not the strongest form that allows one to create and manipulate beautiful multi-colored flames, and/or have the ability to control all the colors of flame separately.Spectrum fire has varied supernatural properties not normally seen in regular Fire, but exactly which effects it has, is hard to determine due to its rarity.

Main Power: Ultimate Burning-The user can burn anything, even if they are normally non-flammable, incorporeal or even conceptual entities, such as time. They can raise the temperature to absolute levels, generating scientifically unexplainable levels of particle energies; due to burning at such otherwise impossible levels, complete annihilation of object at subatomic levels occur.

Main Power: Supernatural Condition(Flaw Power)-Users are glaringly, obviously and super/unnaturally superior over their race because their capabilities are pushed to the superhuman level; making them immensely stronger, faster, durable and smarter than normal members of their species (in that 'verse) can achieve by any method of training.n.

Sub Power: Explosion Manipulation-The user can create/generate, shape and manipulate explosions a rapid increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner, usually with the generation of high temperatures and the release of gases. Supersonic explosions created by high explosives are known as detonations and travel via supersonic shock waves. Subsonic explosions are created by low explosives through a slower burning process known as deflagration.

Sub Power: Energy Erasure-User can erase/eliminate all types of energy from from any form, including sentient beings, inorganic matter, nature, planets, etc. Since most of powers require a certain amount of energy to work the user of this ability can normally make powerful opponents useless. All energy forms are vulnerable to this ability, whether Spiritual, Physical, Magical, Divine, Demonic, etc.

Flaw 1: Deformed Ability Flaw-Valcon's Curse: A curse set upon the Valcon/Blackthorn Family by a powerful shaman. The first born male of the bloodline will turn everything they touch into ash(In theory). However what the curse does is involuntarily activates Amen's power when touching an object and the specifications are not met. Thus when not wearing a glove on his right hand(primary hand) upon making contact with anything with either hand he will ignite it with the full power of his flames at the highest possible level.

Flaw 2: Bane Flaw- Unholy: Holy objects(of a religion based on good deeds) tend to repel Amen if he is within 20 feet of them. Direct contact with them to his skin can cause 3rd degree burns as if he was actually effected by fire or acid. Being on holy ground or a room filled with these objects is like a human being submerged in water. he begins to suffocate and the oxygen slowly leaves his lungs. if one with true faith such as a priest or a proven believer in a faith based off of light and good deeds(several threads showing their belief). Then said holy objects deal double their effect.

Because the user's flames act without the use of their brain or even conscious the user is free to strategize even in a weakened condition. The flames are composed of natural fire however but can be shifted to whatever flames the user controls. Flames/fire in the environment or randomly created can be used to strengthen and buffer the shield. The shields rate of speed is equal to that of the user and is always active. Self preservation of Amen is the priority and will automatically activate when Amen is threatened even if he does not want it to.

The Background

John BlackThorn father of the Blackthorn Children is not from the Ultimate Marvel Universe and came into the verse with one mission: to have children. He is a powerful Warlock descended from the blood of "The Primordial Darkness" a dark being said to be even more powerful than the Beyonder. He managed to catch the eyes of Amelia Young, Elizabeth Shire, and Dawn Rivers though he fathered the 2 formers children and also it was found out that he used his magic to make the 4 remaining females in the Coven highly fertile that they would each, respectively, get pregnant and have a child to make up the third generation of the BlackThorn Circle, the one he knew his children would eventually join. He was also friends with half the circle and told them they could beat the Hunters that vowed to take them down, which lead to the night of The Salem Massacre. He escaped, but his actions had the effect of killing half of the circle as well as getting the survivors' powers stripped. This caused them to keep magic a secret from their children for fear that the same would happen to them. The survivors also split up never speaking to each other ever again and if they did it was not for long. Although they eventually found out about Amen BlackThorn becoming a Witch-Hunter since he believed magic is what got his parents killed in the first place. He easily killed several magic users but was eventually convinced to switch sides when he found out about his twin sister.

John had an affair with another mystery woman which resulted in another child. The BlackThorn family is said to bring the end to the Universe thus many groups have attempted to destroy them even recruiting Amen at one time to use him to eventually destroy the rest of his family unknowingly. However the Hunters planning to weaponize their own BlackThorn turned against them and Amen and Omen destroyed all of the Hunters in New York and California. The other BlackThorn children are unknown yet all are marked by the BlackThorn symbol branded on the left hand. Amen personally was born not knowing who his father was believing him dead in the Witch Hunts. His mother also dead he and his twin sister Omen were separated. Amen bouncing from foster family to foster family ended up in a family of Hunters. A group of humans gathered to destroy the supernatural in all its forms. He was raised to become a hunter before his powers appeared and his mark manifested. Around the age of 12 he managed to ignite the entire house.

It was then that his adoptive mother and father realized what he was. The council wished them to kill the young BlackThorn immediately but loving their adoptive son they convinced the council to allow them to continue his training so that he could hunt down the rest of the BlackThorns and be used as the councils personal weapon. He served as a hunter for 10 years until he was assigned to kill his twin sister Omen unknown to him at the time. The hunters went after Omen and she managed to dispatch several teams of them including killing Amen's adoptive parents. Amen vowed vengeance and finally caught up with her in Los vegas. It was then that Omen showed Amen the history of their family. The Valcon family the originators of Dark magic and their mother Amelia Young who belonged to a family dating back since the beginning of the Arcane. Thus they were intended to lead the BlackThorn/Valcon bloodline.

With a new purpose in mind he and his sister eradicated the major Hunter cells and began their quest to unite their family. The texts Omen found that revealed their lineage however did not explain their purpose only that they were meant to unite their bloodline and complete the Coven. Unknown to their true purpose the duo would decide to take it one step at a time and start at the mutant academy disguised as a student. If there was Valcon blood out there he was sure they would not know what they were and the mutant phenomenon was probably the most logical explanation. therefore the hub for mutant kind would be his best bet.

Just one quick edit - please edit your 1st Flaw so that touching something merely directs the flames of his abilities at the object at the highest level possible. This way it can't be abused to burn things you wouldn't otherwise be able to.

Aside from that, it looks okay *sniff sniff*

For the shielding skill, what skill are you going to use for it? By our rules, shielding abilities only block up to A-rank for a branch/sub at S-rank. Just making sure you keep it in mind in regards to that skill.

For the shielding skill what skill am I using??? Not sure I follow you completely but I am aware of the rules. It is a projection skill used to manipulate his ability.If by skill (the second time you said it) you mean ability then the Omega flames is what is being used. Capped out at the max sub spec of course.
