Starting Days

Tyson was on a rooftop, he was relaxing. He was thinking to himself about why he was doing this all, he went back. He than mentally relived his first day on the job, Sigh... What a day... He went back to that day, what a day that was...

Tyson stood atop the ledge a building roof, here in New York it was common and their was plenty of places to do it. It was snowy, and for once Tyson... He had decided to make something out of his life, he would use his powers to do... the right thing, though this was his first day were he decided to do this outright... He had no idea what the hell to do... So... How do I even start... He would say as he lean back and just have an empty expression on his face as he looked down at his palm. He took off his gloves this night and they let out a small electrical spark. I guess first thing's first I have to go find something that needs to get fixed! He said as The snow kept falling and it made for such a sight... He stood up and started to walk toward the edge of the building and would start roof hopping at any moment after he absorbed the atmosphere for a second.

A flash of light lit up up the sky like a fourth of July fireworks festival accompanied with the sound of a high whistling noise. Almost every single head in that vicinity then looked up to see the flaming mass of metal and lights coming down over their heads. Most of the humans scattered into the distance, kicking up fresh fallen snow as they made their attempts to flee. Caelus pressed his hands over the side of the pod willing it to take a short dip and land gently on its side. Not the most graceful landing but it was ten times better than any crash landing he had ever seen. Pressing his foot against the door the alien being forced it open with a rather kicking sound. Caelus took a deep breath and smiled, his blazing red eyes taking in the rather gloomy scenery around him. "Its been a while since I've been back to earth and it still hasn't changed all that much. Well I guess I can't really blame the humans for crawling at a slow pace. Evolution comes to those who wait." The young man took a step out of his pod and stood in the middle of the panic zone causing even more civilians to flee at his terrifying appearance.

(Someone request I NPC for you guys for training. The NPC is armed with teleportation, martial arts, two machine pistols, enhanced markmanship, enhanced condition, and Energy Blasts)

A dark figure stared down at the people fleeing. A smug smirk was on his face, as he leaned on one knee staring at them from atop of a building. "I'm so bored today. I need some type of entertainment. Hopefully these guys can entertain me." He mumbled, as he lifted his hands and two machine pistols appeared in his hand. He was referring to the weird looking guy who showed up and scared the people in the first place.

He looked across the street and downward. He saw a boy standing there, and suddenly a girl approached him. He smirked and disappeared, only to reappear right behind them. He fired two shots at them, however, they weren't aiming to hit them but pass right by them to scare them. "Hey kids, what are you doing outside in my town?"

Man it sure was quiet, he got a strange chill, well more than usual then being at New York at night, but he just felt strange. Than the woman came out of what he thought was thin air, she kinda spooked him a bit. Jump? Not that I know of... He wasn't very keen on doing much yet. He let out a sigh as he heard something falling to the Earth and looked up, What the? Than it collided into the Earth like the duke wanted to do to Satinehahaha no one is going to get this... The debris, snow, and shockwave spread out throughly and he raised up his hands to guard his face. He was shocked to see what it was, a small pod? What was going on? A creature stepped out what? The woman said something about an invitation. Invitation? I was simply he- Boom headsho- no, this stranger came out of nowhere as well and fired at him. He couldn't even react to him, but he quickly noticed that this man intentionally missed. Tyson looked back to see as he asked them what they were doing, he didn't know what to expect from it but he said the coolest thing he could think of. My guess is to stop you! Oh what a fateful first day on the job... He than stood back up and stood in a fighting stance as he removed his gloves. Electricity coated his arms and he gave off a nice small as he attempted to close the gap in between the two by rushing forward, keeping low just in case he had to make any hard turns, he attempted to give the stranger a static uppercut.

Continuing his little look around, he was shocked to hear the sound of gunshots going off on such a beautifully gloomy snowy day. Over the sound of the shots he could hear the roar of a wave of police sirens drawing near. “The fuck?” he said concerned, looking for whoever caused this, and put his people in danger. Caelus took off down the street in the direction that he remembered the shots coming from or at least the direction he thought they did. The man figured that it might be better to get a rooftop view in order to survey the area and get a grip on the situation. His cloaked presence immediately gave him an easy path to traverse, not many wanted to deal with some crazy alien vigilante. As he came up to the side of a building he took the ladders up to the top of the residence where he bore witness to some kinda fight going on between a gun wielder and an electric man.

No one told him there was going to be other super powered beings on the scene as well. Things had just gotten a little more complicated. "Don't try this at home kids!" he muttered to himself jokingly. Taking off, Caelus began to sprint at full speed across the rooftop at the three individuals and jumped. As he did he realized that the jump was one that could have been made by an average human. Before his feet hit the rooftop however he fired a concussive blast of darkforce energy at both the gun wielder and the electric man. Since Caelus had no way to see who was at fault here he figured it would be best to neutralize both men. The blasts would only render the two unconscious.

The man began to laugh as he looked at the one who was using electricity. He looked to the side, and saw another guy sprinting toward him as he fired a blast of his own. He teleported away from the incoming attacks to a building to the side of the one they were on. "Yes mam. This is my town. Everyone and everything is under my possession, and if you oppose that, then looks like your not going to live too long.

"Who is this asshole. This is between me, sparky, and the nice lady right there." He said, as he winked at the girl and charged two energy blasts in his palms. He threw them downward toward the one who sent the dark blast at him, and the guy who was able to control electricity. The girl from first glance didn't look too dangerous, so he wasn't focusing on taking her out, however, he did make sure to keep track of her.

Well that worked as well as much as he didn't hope, he was than being thrown around like a rag doll, the incoming dark pulse of energy and the saving grace of being shoved out of the way, he landed on his feet and almost fell of the roof but gained his footing. Just lovely... He muttered as he quickly looked to his back. Thanks lady! he said to the lady as Than Tyson noticed as the man spoke.... He hadn't thought of his hero name... He looked up at the name and pointed and than spontaneously just have him the name, Hey! That's Sparx to you, Sparx's with an X! Than the stranger fired his own energy attack and he once again rushed forward and did a turn over to dodge the incoming energy blast. He revved up his electricity in his arms again and jumped the roof and went to the next where the man stood, Here! Own this! He put his arms close to himself until he got close enough and would once again would attempt a jab to the man's stomach.

Leona shook her head as the man troubling her agenda for today... Winked at her.. "Sorry you're not my type." She said coldly. Never having any intention of staying, she wanted to beat up the gunman and the other guy who shot at her and innocent mister Sparx. "For now Sparx, consider this a debt for you. We're going to do three against one. Take our advantage for "my enemy of my enemy is my friend" for now and if the other guy doesn't like it we'll just crush him if he gets in our way." She kept her tone low for now for only Sparx to have overhear. Leona had observed the gunman had shot and disappeared into a new location. It was going to be extremely hard taking under consideration he was a long range fighter. The complete opposite of her. No matter, she would continue to repeat to herself. Convincing herself the man was outnumbered would be enough to slow him down. Taking the direct approach she leaps from the roof prominently to the right while he blasts at the others, the element of surprise was in her favor momentarily. It wasn't far off to come crashing down a bit off from where the gunner was. Taking another leap off the building she formed a fist, heading in the direction of the gunner off a blindside. Descending into the roof he was on, she thrusts the formation of her fist into the direction of the gunner's torso from his right side at high momentum from the fall after rolling on the rooftop he was on, carrying the momentum further. Hoping her sneak attack would prove avail.

The alien managed to catch up coming to a halt as his feet hit the rooftop, he watched from the side as the gun-wielder teleported away to safety. The woman however took the liberty to save the Electric man for what reason he still did not know but at least she showed some combat capability. Caelus really loved himself a good fight but playing backup and fighting alongside other supers was still new to him. Best case scenario, the Electric man and the Gun wielder would take each other out and he would have some alone time with the woman. But then a third threat appeared. As the police cars pulled up the gun totting lunatic fired some sort of energy blast at him. Evading the attack from that sort of distance was too easy, his body diving to the side and out of harm's way. Although he had forgotten about his position as the blast flew downwards towards where he police cars had stopped. The vehicle exploding as the energy blast collided into it sending showering sparks and bits of metal into the air. Caelus showed no emotion but under the surface he was no doubt really upset with the gunman. "Asshole huh? You could at least have the decency to ask my name bro before I pound you within an inch of your life but whatever its your funeral. I go by a few aliases however but just for today you may call me your executioner. Pleased to meet you." His voice coming out in a mocking tone while smiling even wider.

Caelus was immediately troubled however with the means in which he would be able to traverse over to the next building and carry out his threat. He was not that proficient at parkour or anything that really required superhuman feats of athleticism. While he racked his mind trying to find a solution his body was already floating off the rooftop surface. Caelus was just as surprised at himself that he had the ability to fly and therefore an open route to unleash hell on the Gun wielding madman. Arcing his body he drifted off the side of the building after watching the other woman simply leap with pure leg strength over to where the gun man was. The man rose into the air stopping 10 feet from the edge of the rooftop where all three combatants were going at it. Caelus simply floated there watching for the moment.

The gunman looked at the kids. He noticed the woman had used pure strength to jump in the air toward him. While the other was coming at him with electricity surrounding his arms. He groaned, as again, he teleported to the sidewalk below the building, staring at the people above. "Well, hello my executioner. You seem to talk alot of trash for someone hiding behind a mask. I can tell you are all newbies. Allow me to pledge you in the business. However, before I do that. Let me royally kick all of your asses. He said, as he began to laugh, and waited for all the kids to attack him again.

OOC: Sorry I literally just got home

The man teleported right in front of Tyson's eyes, his attack would obviously miss which ticked him off, both him and the girl were about to collide with each other but in a quick thought he arched his torso back and forced his electricity back into his body to avoid shocking the woman as she thrusted herself forward. He scoffed as his attack was wasted again... In an attempt to calm himself down He looked at the woman and let out a sly smile, Whatever you say lady... Though if I can ask, do you have a name? He asked the girl who he already owed himself to, he decided to keep the name of Sparx for now, guess it had a small charm to it... He walked over to the edge of the building and sighed as he looked down right at the man who kept getting away, just the sight of him had irritated Tyson, to such an extent that his brow started to twitch. This is annoying... I can't get close enough to hit him... He crouched down at the edge... He knew this wouldn't be easy...

Hey lady! Any plans? He said looking back to her, loud enough so she could hear him... He seems distracted with the pod man... You wouldn't have any cool energy blast like those two, would you? If not the only thing I could see if we heavily distracted him and than surprise him with a quick attack... Ugh people who can teleport are so annoying... Of course he knew their was others like him, but seeing as this was his first day, he never seen many others and hell definitely didn't know how to fight someone with such an ability... He rubbed the sweat off his face and kept thinking of a way to help out and stop this self proclaimed owner of the town... Well maybe we could attempt to distract him from up here and let those two duke it out, they both seem like long range fighters and than when he tires himself out... Sadly I'm still confined to close range combat at the moment... Eh seeing as this is a standstill, he's waiting for us... Trying to baiting us in and making us waste our energy with attacks that would only make us hit each other... With that said... No point in me getting pissed at him and rush down there when he would simply just teleport up here or something aggravating like that... He was getting pissed at himself more than being pissed at the guy. He looked down with a sneer as now he was getting passed off in general, in so that the air around him jumped around with his electricity, making that nice static noise which when he noticed, immediately he stopped with the small light show of golden flares.

He stood back up and picked up a stone that had been lying near him. As sad as it might be, as demeaning it is for a guy like me to do this... It's worth a shot... He said with a somber tone as he knew getting close to this guy and in the middle of the other was not very smart at the moment... So plan B, rocks... He aimed at where the guy was just standing there, he deduced already that this guy was waiting for them to attack him, probably thinking that all three of them would interject each other and most likely injure each other. So instead of doing something stupid and taking the bait, he decided to distract him and would let the two long range fighters tire themselves out, unless he couldn't actually go in for himself and fight, but that teleporting would most likely make that a no no. So he let electricity engulf him again and he aimed the rock, electricity jumping around and chucked it toward the man, just hoping he would either not pay attention to it and get hit or get closer so he could engage the man himself... Well all up to fate now...

He shut off his electricity, the sound dying down, and He cleared his throat and looked at the woman... Ugh... Sorry for the small tactics monologue... Hey... What did you mean invitation? Like I said, this is my first day in the job so I was up on these roofs by chance, but you said something about an invitation... What do you mean? Who the hell invited you here at this time?, I swear if that bastard down there is the one who invited you and this is just some sick game, I'll sock him in jaw.. He scoffed as he just awaited what would happen next...

'Crap!' Did Leona shout at herself in her mind as the man vanished from sight right before her eyes again?! Her fist now heading in the direction of mister Sparx, she averts herself before any collision is made with him. Dragging the soles of her feet into the surface of the roof's exterior concrete surface, Leona’s feet began crunching onto the concrete as she twists her body to miss the blow on Sparx. What a nasty hit that would have been for mister Sparx hadn't she forced herself to stop. Her eyes blink a few times before closing completely as her anger inside began to overwhelm her. This gun person was irritating her though his shitty comments about the trio. It wasn't as if she was actually someone who specializes in this sort of activity. A deep breath is what she took in to calm herself down from leaping into a direct assault again.

"I... Hate that guy..." She would mumble to herself. Leona picked herself up and crossed her arms beneath her chest in patience. Listening to the words mister Sparx began to sprout out. “No. I have no plans.” She’d reply simply. She was out of view from the gunner as was he to her from above. Leona began to walk closer to Sparx as he intrigued her a bit. He was claiming if she has any familiar or similar abilities as them. Leona paused for a second in her own world. There was once a time she did have such a thing, but it only came out of anger. The eyes of hers looked at the direction of the stars behind the dark shades she wore, emitting a purple hue behind them. She began to allow herself to feel more annoyed about the situation. Sparx fed her that initiative. HE wasn't the only one who specialized in close combat and that drove her even more to be better than him for a moment. Unwilling to be useless at the moment, she quickly came out of her silence and tossed her luxurious dark shades to the left of her where the teleporter was in sight for her. “Maybe I don't have a plan, maybe I don't have something like them, but a real plan would require communication. Not waiting for others to fall!” She screams at the end of her line with aggression as the energetic purple hue transmits itself into a crimson one. A blast of pure energy forms itself into a ray coming from her eyes as she tilts her head from the bottom to the top, leaving a scar on the body of the city streets, leaving them damped and destroyed in a straight linear across her line of sight that went in the direction of the teleporter and all that stood in its way. It was reckless for one to do. She didn't care for much, she wanted to send a message and make a promise she wasn't all just looks. A soft sigh escapes her as her eyes dimmed back to their shade of color with no trace of steam or heat.

She looks at Sparx who was looking at her. After listening she merely glances at the street she crippled. “I was invited by someone anonymous. It had to do something with my father. So I wanted to find out what it was because I really don’t like my father. Ever since I was small he’d keep his distance from me and left my mother and I to support ourselves. Because of him I acted very… Stupid.” Clearing her throat she glances back at Sparx with a sweet smile. “I’m guessing you are a superhero? The ones they mention on T.V. a lot? I have never met one in person. So I guess it’s good to see that some people do care for the right cause. So I have a favor, if that guy was the one who invited me be sure to fry him too. I swear, I feel like he just wanted to draw me out or something… I’m not a hero you see… My name is Leona by the way.” Leona then points at her clothing a bit jokingly. They were very modern and had that lingering scent of being pricy. She wears a coat, business attire for women’s suit underneath, and dark amber business shoes to compliment the white suit. Keep in mind women suits aren’t always skirts, in this case she has pants with no tie either while keeping the opening of her collar shirt loose enough for her bust.

766 / 700 [Loose Canons Level : C ] TRAINED

Caelus didn’t even have a chance to respond to the man’s response before his attention was drawn somewhere else. The two other powered beings managed to stop from crashing into each other and possibly going over the edge of the roof. His first instinct was to immediately go after the teleporter and tear him limb from limb but he figured that would not be the best course of action. Drifting through the air his feet touched the rooftop surface next to the other two supers as Sparx chucked a rock. The trigger happy fool shouldn't be able to hear them from that far up. The fool announced he something about them beings kids and schooling them or something like that. The memory wasn't entirely accurate but he was sure that's what pretty much happened. Caelus stood still crossing his arms while listening to the other two speak and share a little of themselves. Under normal circumstances this might have been okay but even under the present situation it did serve to slow down the situation and let them think. This was followed by more explosions and damage to the city from the stunning mistress.

The thick dark smoke flooded into the air from the streets rising into the air above their hands but no one so much as flinched. The source of this bothersome turn of events was on the street below and it irritated him how much it seemed like he was toying with them. She went on with her own little story of her life, Caelus paid attention to her words, only to where they were coming from. His face was still smug and somewhat cocky looking but he listened intently to what they both said. Not a word left his mouth until everything was pretty much said and done but even then he continued to wait in silence. As if he were waiting for some kind of signal to contribute a little of his life to the little discussion that had been established. Caelus cleared his throat while pulling off his hood exposing his raven black hair and fiery crimson eyes. He gave them both a warm smile showing that he was clearly on their side now that he knew who was the bad guy here.

"Sorry for firing at you earlier, I thought you two might be the bad guys as well and I didn't think I could chance it and let the possible criminal escape. Hope you two can forgive me for that Leona and Sparx. I just couldn't sit by and let whoever was causing these people distress to be conscious any longer I guess you could say. My name is Caelus by the way. I'm the one responsible for that little firework display in the sky before. Its not easy to keep a low profile and fly a space pod that's for sure. But anyway I think its obvious we should work together and get this lunatic in the pysch ward or prison or six feet under. I'm not picky about how we deal with him as long as we get the situation under control and get the city safer again. As for plans however I think you should let me lure him towards you since I am the most maneuverable in the group now. And then Leona you could throw Sparx at him or whatever and let him take care of the rest. Its a pretty crude plan and I'm not even sure if it might work but that's just my idea for now." His voice came out confident and sure of everything he said as if it was all factual information and most of it was. Caelus rose into the air again over the heads so that he could keep watch on the streets below to make sure if the gun wielder was on the move or not.

It was a shame that his abilties were so limited at the moment but that was the beauty of growing. In time he was sure that more of his latent abilities would come out. But for now he was stuck with being the neighborhood fly boy. A small derisive laugh left his mouth drifting down to his cohorts below him. A fly drifted into his face cutting off his laugh causing him to wave it away. As he waved the insect off a small marble sized ball of energy came out of his palms exploding in the air before him with a little pop sound. It seemed he had awakened another ability unconsciously.

[765/700 words, Hell Grenades Trained]

The man was looking at the roof they were standing on. He began to hear people's screams and suddenly a rock was coming down. He simply again teleported to the top of the building right across the street from the kids. He was on equal ground and could look straight at them. He smiled, and aimed his guns at the one named Sparx. With his expert markmanship, he had a good lock on the kid. "Let's get him out of the way. He seems to annoy me the most." He mumbled under his breath, as he rose his gun and launched several shots at the kid with the electricity powers. He then put his hand forward and fired a wave of energy at them. The blast would be aimed to hit the ground in the middle of them and blast them all away and cause some damage.

Tyson shook his head with a smile as he looked away and thought to himself, "Me a superhero... Never thought I could be seen as that... Guess I could now..." He held out his palm and once again watched the sparks jump from his palm before stopping the surge with a close of the fist. "Well... We all make those types of mistakes..." He said as he looked at the new scar into the street.

He had a small flashback to when he was a kid he knew it was a battle field at the moment but he just went there...

He woke up back in reality and muttered, Sounds like you two should talk things out... He stood up and laughed to himself a little, Well Leo, i guess i am! But remember this is my first day! He said forming a smile and a tome of vibrance in his tone. So you're Caelus, hello... And it's fine... And sure, I'm up for your plan... Well like their was any time to execute Caelus's idea. See I got your attention... Don't know who you are... Don't care, but don't expect me to go down so easily... The man had already teleported the building across from him and The man fired his guns at Tyson and he scoffed as he leaned to his right and amped himself up as electricity engulfed his arms and legs. He rolled on his side and got grazed by the bullets, taking a small hit to his left arm and leg. He noticed that there was a telephone wire right in front of him, and a large neon sign post a bit down the way. He thought fast and knew the enemy would simply just teleport away, though he might as well try this tactic. Sorry guys! Cover me!

He jumped from the roof to the near industrial cable, he landed fine with a little bounce in the wire, but he had to concentrate. He ran down the wire while concentrating on his surrounding, just in case he had to do an early jump off to a roof near him. When he got close to the neon sign he made a leap for it and latched on before quickly pulling himself up, from the top of the sign he jumped to the neighboring roof. He would yell out toward the man, Why don't you stop skipping around and fight me like a man Mr.Mayor! He quipped as the electricity around him would spark and he would leap first and would go onto the full offensive. In his mind he was forcing the electricity in him to go faster to go wilder. It felt as if his blood was racing, going through each 'checkpoint', in and out of his heart, this felt new, this felt exciting. He grinned as he ran and leapt forward, Come on and fight! His whole body would erupt in electricity and would attempt to engulf the threat, this was a new move which he always wanted to try out, the amp shockwave! He would hope the man wouldn't chicken out like he always did but hey he wanted to be known as a force to be reckon with!

Movement below quickly shocked Caelus back to reality or maybe the lack there of, well either way something happened that got his attention. The super locked eyes with teleporter who now held equal ground with the two people below him. It wasn't worth warning the other two about because Sparx quickly noted this as well and shot into action. Which was funny because he was also being shot at as well in the process but at least he was alive. The shooter then fired an energy ball and before he could think it through Caelus shot down to the rooftop grabbing the female by the waist and rose off again into the sky. The energy blast hit the rooftop after he had ascended roughly ten feet causing bits and pieces of rubble to rain down on him.

"That’s the best you can do?” he laughed. “I thought you would have something a little better than that in store to back up all that bravado.” He considered blowing the entire building the teleporter was standing on to hell but he figured it would hinder Sparx who probably had a plan charging in. Either way he needed to give Sparx some support or else he'd be in a real tight spot. “How bout you try this on for size.” Caelus fired a black beam of energy six meters in size from his eyes at the spot that the man stood before Sparx released his wave. He smiled as both of combatants followed up with a second attack. The girl was held tightly against him to ensure that she would not fall and go splat on the sidewalk. Although he was unsure that this new assault would work on the teleporter it was still worth wearing him down anyway. But in the off chance that the attack did hit the teleporter would be both stunned, unconscious and thrown backwards off the rooftop.
