If she stops, the boosts also stops, and thus she will have to start over completely.

Speed Force conduits can allow their friends or family members to run along side them at their equaled speeds. Certain conduits who may only have minor access to the Force may achieve full levels of the Force due to the main conduit's association with it. This allows those Tara wills to run by her side at her current speed limit. This also allows her to give them a speed force aura so they can survive the intense conditions of this aswell, such as friction, loss of hearing, sight, smell, taste, G force, etc. They must be within thirty yards of her for them to be able to share her power. If they go any further, they lose it all.

This is why Pulse must eat large amounts of food (seen in Flaw) to keep her power at full capacity.
