Appearance: Mateus is a fair young man, standing at about 5 feet, ten inches tall, which is fairly normal, although slightly taller than the norm of society where he comes from. He has pale skin, although it is a lot better quality than normal, as if he takes great care of it, especially around the face and hands. He has a slightly thin build, but not too thin, as he is much more lean than skinny, rather. He has defined muscles, but most of the times he wears large or baggy clothing to conceal his body, not consciously, simply because he likes comfortable closes, and they seem to be more baggy and loose than tight. Starting from his head and hair, he has silvery hair, and it is rather long, the front bangs going down to his mid cheek when stretched, but the bangs usually cup the upper part of his face quite nicely. The rest of his hair flows down to his mid back. Let's be honest... his hair looks like a woman's, because of how shiny and bouncy it is, but no one has teased him about it really. He has regal eyebrows, that are thin and only curve slightly, rather than perfectly follow his eye sockets.

His eyes are the most interesting feature about him, as they are a bright purple color, signifying royalty. They are full of life, and are incredibly beautiful, especially when accented by his unusually thick eye lashes. Going down, he wears his royal attire, which consists of a collared white undershirt, which isn't buttoned, but rather slightly ruffled in the middle, and has clasps to keep it in place instead. Over that is a gold bordered white jacket which has a gold arrow design clasp in the center of the chest to keep it closed, but allows it to be open lower. He then simply has a royal cloak or cape type piece of clothing, which goes around his shoulders as well, so it is also visible from the front. He wears a light purple belt with a gold buckle, which holds up his white pressed pants. He also has a large amount of street clothing which he wears around when not acting like a prince, or not wanting to.

Personality: Mateus is a calm, calculating individual, with an emphasis on making everyone around him happy. He enjoys seeing the smiles of others, even if they are sinister, he will still get a chuckle about it. He is a genius master mind, which thinks that the greater good is better. He likes to make people happy, however he dislikes direct fighting, but seeing as the world needs action, violence, and death at times. He uses his abilities to get good with people, and have them do his dirty work, should it be required. However, he likes to solve things without violence and death if possible. He dislikes death, even for the most ruthless of enemies, and he is in love with life. When someone dies, he will openly weep, and mourn the death of a fellow being. A very strange one indeed, but he is such a good person at heart.

Mateus is somewhat of a ladies man, as he constantly tries to make them happy, and this usually involves him flirting a lot, or doing other things that are probably considered lecherous to some. However, he also likes to get good with the guys as well, so they look up to him as someone to respect.

The Background

History: Mateus was born in a small country in Europe, that rose to power when a large war broke out, and segmented the area. The area came with a king and queen, and eventually morphed into Greece, which started to have a bad economy, but it didn't really effect the royalty. However, when Mateus was growing up, he had many friends that were a lot poorer than he was, and he enjoyed playing with the children, as it seemed that they were simply happier than he was. He was simply lonely, and so he would go out and play with them, even though his parents didn't think it was a smart idea. however, he studied much of his young life, getting a lot smarter than most people around him, and even smarter than his parents. Unless the entire country was working together, there was no way that the people of the country could get along, which would lead to the country's downfall. Mateus was trying to figure out a way to help the country, and he had the skills, however, he couldn't get anyone to listen to him, even though he was charming and regal, and highly intelligent. So, this was when a deity decided to gift him with the power of the divines, which simply amplified his already powerful charm. This allowed him to show the royalty were wrong, and got his own input on the sanctions, so new sanctions were put into place, as Mateus was in school, and he was leading the sanctions as well, which stabilized the economy quite a bit. Mateus wasn't content with his own country, and wanted to study abroad, and so as he turned 18, and finally received his title of prince. So, he would begin his flight to America, traveling the country and studying abroad.
