It was just another day. Things didn't change on the planet of Earth. Some people rose above others to claim power, while the rest were crushed beneath the heels of the mighty. It was a dog eat dog world, and nothing ever changed. Maybe this was why it had stolen the attention of one. Maybe this was why it was chosen to be the next planet for the
games. The bright sky was filled with clouds on this day. Nothing abnormal. Nothing to alarm the people. But these clouds would soon begin to darken as lightning struck and the strong sound of thunder shook the homes of many. One could say this was an omen, but most wrote it off as bad weather. Ignorance was bliss, right? Well, playing the game of the ignorant would soon end as the clouds began to part. Hailing from the heavens, a massive ship slowly descended upon the planet. Spiky protrusions stretched far and wide from the massive egg shaped ship that slowly hovered above the outskirts of Houston. The ship itself, was massive. Its size could be compared to a small city, stretching far more than one hundred meters from its epicenter. One would think the landing of the ship would be heavy, but as it touched down on the Earth, a small shockwave was all it would be accompanied by. The dark clouds seemed to swirl around the massive ship, as it rooted its protrusions into the Earth to keep steady before finally powering down its thrusters. All would stand still around the massive ship, as it seemed even time was afraid to tick on in fear of causing a disaster in its wake. Suddenly a bright light would escape the dark hull of the ship, shining out and scanning the land around it. This would continue for quite some time with no signs of ending.
"Ushakal, froneel ui lae coi jalla qe." The strange words rang out from a being sitting at the main controls far within the ship's center. He tirelessly turned the switches and flipped the knobs before turning to look towards the massive throne that sat in the center of the control room. The flight crew was a simple four, even for such a massive ship. However, they weren't the only ones on the ship by far. It held soldiers, prisoners, the
arena, and The King.
The King of Games, Ushakal the Mad. He sat upon his metallic throne looking towards the holographic images that showed the scans of the planet. This world named "Earth" had caught his attention by chance. The constant destruction between various races of creatures put on one planet was more than one could ask for entertainment. It was the cesspool of the galaxy, after all. He took a metallic breath, as he lifted himself from his throne and slowly walked towards the screen. Two arms rested behind his back, while two others were crossed infront of his chest.
"Vi z'ar planet di subjects. Contenders ihk wer tokiv, si presume. Zi algbo." The King would make his way towards the wall that split apart within his presence. In the long, metallic looking hallway, two soldiers would bow their heads to their King as he continued his stride to the
Arena. As he entered the area, two warriors were currently fighting a cage match being observed by the many guards who sat in the stands. They cheered, they cried, and they shrieked as the two warriors tore each other apart. There was one strange difference between the two fighting, and the actual creatures watching. These two beings that fought were not the same species as the audience. They were in shackles and forced to fight. Fight for their freedom? Fight for fame? That was the question. The King was well known through the Galaxy. He had single handedly destroyed his home planet, and killed of all of his fellow race to claim power. Through gaining this power, he lost his planet to war. Taking the remnants of the species, he travelled the galaxies and hosted various games at his leisure. Earth was next.
Turning to his soldiers, the massive nine foot being would raise his arms.
"Dryic wer contestants! Wer nibelic zklaen tlush!" They bowed to his word as the crowd would cheer even louder. Leaving his presence, the shoulders would head to the docking bay with new orders. Each would grab their various scout vessels, and leave the ship from various angles. Their ships were oval and appeared like small pods, as they blanketed the sky and sent various drones down within the Earth. Once landing, the drones would begin to scan the populace within the city. This occurred in various cities around the world, as the scouting pods made sure to hit every area full of life and population. Each drone that hit the ground would scan the people, before creating a life size hologram of the King. With the initial scanning, the dominant language the people spoke would be copied and interpreted into the hologram's voice.
"People of Earth! I am new to your planet, and come from a world far away from your own. I mean no harm to your planet, and instead wish to formally introduce myself.
